Edward was born into a wealthy family on the 17th of November in 1971. His father, Timothy Laurel, a nurse, and his mother, Lisa Hart, a housemaker and the only daughter of a CEO. Ed’s parents had met in a really romantic place, the Vanderbilt Hospital. They both talked, went on a couple of dates, and slowly started liking each other. Eventually, they got married in 1969 and had Ed two years later.
His childhood was surrounded by plenty of butlers and maids, huge mansions, gold, elegant clothes and everything a child, no, a person could wish for. But he believes it could’ve been better.
In 1973, when Ed was 2, Timothy and Lisa had their second child, Keith. A year after that, Timothy eloped with his girlfriend, who he was in love with for a few years. Ed blamed it on his brother and hated him from that day on. He refused to talk or do anything with him.
When Ed was 14, he was accepted into Brindton High. The students loved him there and wanted to befriend him, but he refused. Those stupid, ugly idiots friends with someone as handsome and perfect as Ed? No way! He didn’t bother being kind and friendly with them. A lot of people disliked him for that and thought of him as a stuck-up brat.
He couldn’t find anyone worthy enough to befriend and was, well, a loner for a few years. Until he met Kimberly in a boutique. She was a cool, fashionable gal who immediately connected with Ed. She studied in Brindton High too. Ed was glad he finally had a friend in this stupid school.
He was later invited to the Valley Alleys, the popular clique of Brindton High. He got along okay with the other members and has been part of the clique for two years.
❀ ᴘᴇʀꜱᴏɴᴀʟɪᴛʏ:
Edward is one of the most fashionable people you can find in Brindton High. You could call him one of the celebrities of the school. The students are very jealous of him. They just wish they had his neat hair, his handsome face, his rad fashion sense, and his drool-worthy Episode bad boy bod. Or… that’s what he thinks. Honestly, it wouldn’t make much of a difference if he wasn’t a student of Brindton.
He’s all for the drama in the school. Nothing pleases him more than spreading juicy rumours about his classmates and embarrassing them in front of the whole school! Some find it cruel, but he doesn’t care.
He’s not the kind of person who worries about impressing others. In fewer words, he isn’t a people pleaser. He rarely cares about what people think of him. He isn’t a person who likes trying new things and sticks to doing things his way.
People are often intimidated by Ed. But it’s not bad. It can be helpful at times. He always has a resting bxtch face on, which makes him less approachable. But that’s the point. He’d rather be by himself than having unnecessary conversations with people.
Ed is a very impatient person. He hates to be kept waiting. He thinks of himself as a busy person, and you better not waste his time. He has a short temper, and people know better than to anger him. He can even get violent sometimes, but fortunately, his friends are there to calm him down.
Ed spends most of his time shopping in various boutiques. He takes a lot of time dressing up. He likes hanging out at The Diner with his friends on weekends. He goes on walks in the Forbidden Forest when he’s stressed or wants to let off some steam.
Ed, like all people, has a flaw; he is too much of a perfectionist. He wants everything to be excellent. Each and every single detail should be perfect to him. It annoys a lot of people, but again, he doesn’t care. He just wants everything to his liking.
Ed doesn’t have secrets. He’s a very open person and can’t be trusted with secrets. But he’s also very persuasive and will eventually make you spill the beans. He’s very straightforward and speaks whatever comes to his mind. Because of this, he’s gotten into lots of trouble. Still, he isn’t afraid of speaking his mind.
The only thing that Ed is embarrassed about is his family. Sure, they are rich or whatever, but they don’t have a good relationship with each other. Ed and Keith despise each other and don’t talk at all. Lisa stays in the bar all day, drinking and sleeping around with random men. She seldom comes home and doesn’t care about her children. Ed can’t rely on anybody in his family. Timothy running away from them was the worst thing that has ever happened to their family. Even after all that, Ed still wishes for his father to come back and fix his messed up family.
