Hey @unsungcheerio and @OhSumana, I recommend choosing different bags. I can’t stop you choosing the same but as they only have four object each to spark imagination and have no power gain, it could help to all have different ones. (wink)

BRAVE ADVENTURERS!

To travel deep into Neverwinter Wood in search of the infamous Green Dragon, Deathsleep, and slay it. It breathes noxious fumes into the once-beautiful forest and attacks anyone who nears it. This is one last plea to ask for brave adventurers to try to stop the dragon from ruining the forest and destroying this land.

Five adventurers had joined forces, all thinking that they were the ones to take down the green beast. They stood at the bottom of one side of Mount Hotenow, their backs to the volcano. Across the way, staring at them, bristled wooden arms beckoning them over to delve inside, was the mass that was Neverwinter Wood. Unfortunately, after Hotenow’s last angry blow, running between them and the wood was a wide fast-running stream of the lava, and with the dragon laying so nearby, the citizens of Neverwinter had not yet found and set up a large rock crossing. So the five must go the long way to the Wood: through Mount Hotenow, onto Neverwinter, then Gauntlgrym, until finally onto Neverwinter Wood.

So they turned back to the mountain and began their climb. Taking it slow, being careful to put their feet in steady footholds while avoiding stray clumps of magma occasionally spurting from the mountain.
Almost 180 metres up, they reached a decent landing at the mouth of a cave tunnel. Not breaking for long, they entered the darkness. Using Patrin’s torch, they discover it’s an old mining tunnel and there are more goblins in these mines than hairs in mad wizard Halaster’s beard. One of them snuck up on the party and tried to pick their pockets. Fortunately, their pockets were bare of any gold and the goblin slunk off.
Coincidently, they heard a strange noise that was not the goblin, but something coming from a small cavern to the left. Did they want to find out what it was or continue on through the mountain?


Would any of the adventurers like to go check out what it is before returning to the path (and possibly the group if only some go) to continue onward? This is going to be some kind of monster/creature to battle. You can each choose separately, with or without discussing it.

The noise intrigued most of the group and they wanted to find out more. All except Patrin, who remove their pack and sat on the uneven ground as the others walked down into the small cavern.
It was darker down here and the four could barely see. They heard scuttling through the gloom. So many legs moving quickly along the caven wall. So many. With it being barely visible, burning it with fire would be the best option.


Okay, so you attack one at a time, whoever wants to go first or whoever is online. The creature attacks after each attack. How do you attack? Look at your character sheet and choose one of your three weapons or your skill. I will roll a d20 to see if you’re effective and you know what you need to roll by the roll number next to it.

Thia got out her bow and arrow immediately, being rather easy as it was hung over her shoulder. She held her arrow steady in her bow, listening for the sound of the creature’s movement, then released the arrow where she thought she heard it. A second later it shrieked, she made contact. (-1 damage to the creature) Unfortunately, the creature retaliated, sending something long toward her. Striking her and sending her into the opposing cavern wall. Feeling achy and severely bruised. (-2 damage to Thia)
