It was only about an hour long and CBBC only re-ran it a few times so it kinda faded away. I only remembered it because it popped it up in my YT recommendations.

I’ve remembered some more dark moments:

  • Sarah Jane Adventures - Sarah Jane saves her parents which caused an alternate timeline where humans become slaves. She has to let her parents die in a car crash to fix the timeline.

  • Sarah Jane Adventures (again) - When Andrea Yates fell off the pier on a school trip

  • Wolfblood - One of the scientists converts two wolfblood children into humans

  • Mission 2110 - Idk if anyone else remembers this game-show but the premise was that humans invented robots in the future that turned against them and the only way to stop them was to find humans from the present day

we have this Danish cartoon called the secret weapon. in that one there are two deaths. one killed by a tiger the other murdered. there is also one who almost drown

there is also some scenes there would make American mothers lose there sh*t

like who get drunk. the danish curse word sku is used a lot (note it is no longer considered a curse word but it was back then) (also its kinda mafia story but with monkeys)

just… just watch the trailer

I could mention a few other dark danish cartoons. but the others does not have trailers with English text

Yup that was dark

I remember that episode, do you remember the one where Rani accidentally wishes Sarah Jane away

That was sad, there was also that woman who lost her wolf, got it back, lost it again then lost her mind.

This was one of the last good game shows on CBBC

Oh yeah! SJA got me into Doctor Who and it turns out that the red girl (I think her name was Eve?) was sent to Earth because the daleks killed her people.

True. I lowkey wished mission 2110 was a drama instead of a gameshow. That would have been cool.

Yeah I feel like they could have made a prequel type thing to mission 2110. Or even had it run along side like how horrible histories had horrible histories gory games.

Okay there were some dark moments in Arthur:

  • When he punches DW
  • When he bullies Sue Ellen
  • When Buster has to go stay with his Dad
  • When Arthur misses his bus home
  • When the Tibble twins broke DW’s face
