Discussion: What makes somebody your friend?

So I wanted to make this because, I’ve seen a lot of people give in a lot of effort into friendships, and all they get back is seen. Let’s talk about what makes somebody your friend.

  1. They’ll try to talk to you whenever they can, or whenever they want to start a chat.

  2. They won’t leave you on seen, or completely ignore your texts.

  3. They’ll stand up for you, if somebody is treating your wrong or etc.

  4. They support you no matter what, and they’ll tell you what’s right and what’s wrong.

  5. They’ll keep a open mind with you, and hype you up with anything.

  6. Don’t ghost them because of some past argument, or if you feel like they like you. That would just be a waste of time for both of you.

If you’re gonna be become somebody’s friend, don’t let their hopes get too high just for you to ignore them, sometimes people want love, or support back.

I have trust issues because of a toxic friendship I had in elementary school, so trust is a huge thing for me.

What makes someone your friend is someone…

  • That jokes with you and knows where the limit is.
  • Doesn’t laugh when people make fun of you.
  • Talks to you on the daily.
  • Cares about you.
