Of course. I’d definitely put thought into it.
I second this. I wanted to say something like this when the pet and creature annonucement came up a few days ago but didn’t… and yeah, thanks.
Oh, sorry, I am really trying to reply. So sorry for making everyone wait. Yeah, if you don’t want to chat in class, then go. You’ll just have to move seats since, you know, they’re in class, no?
Oh, it’s ok! If you’re going to get to it, I can totally wait.
How many powers does she have?
Of course, I am. You know should know that with how active I am. Though when I people tag me asking, the guilt gets even heavier and the pressure feels too much to reply. Sorry, I don’t mean to snipe or dig at ya, it’s just that I’ve been trying today to focus on my list. I’ve been doing SG stuff and other thing. Now I have just reading the RP thread and started to reply to the post I’m up to but kinda don’t wanna look at it now. Sorry, am trying, I really am, but maybe… sorry… I’m gonna just… I’m sorry.
Cali, it’s fine. Trust me. Just reply when you can. I’m actually kinda glad, so now I can focus on my other characters while I wait.
(Aside from immortality)
She can duplicate herself, shapeshift into 72 different things (the Art of the Earthly Multitude, in an effort to stop the court of heaven from sending down things to kill her every 500 years because she’s using a forbidden method of immortality. Monkey, worried she might still die, steals an immortal peach from the Garden of immortal peach trees as well as the last of Lao Tsu’s pills of immortality. The very same things he took, minus the massive jugs heavenly wine for obvious reasons ), and the ability to fly on a cloud, as well as natural super strength.
That…might be overpowered. Maybe you should change it so she can only shapeshift into a couple things?
That’s just my take on it.
(Shocked) OMG! That’s a lot though. Ethereal’s normal rule for powers 2, from what I remember, but she has accepted 3 or 4 before, I just don’t think they were all active powers. So I believe that’s why she asked you above. After all, she has a literal goddess student and I don’t even think she has that much power.
The tradeoff is the loss of her freedom, meaning she wouldn’t be able to get away with the normal things she could. Without the magical artifact able to control him, Sun Wukong became a Buddha level problem until he dealt with him and they trapped him until the Journey of the West could take place. So, yes she’s powerful but like Genie in Aladdin, she can’t use it however she wants.
How so? I mean, you can still have EPIC condition without being that powerful. Afterall, we are RPers and as most of know, we love being cruel to characters. So why not keep the condition and not be powerful?
Kristi you’re just young, don’t worry when you reach 100000 years old you will become more powerful so that’s 99983 years to go, if you live that long.
Oh, like Frank in Percy Jackson.
Our characters deserve better rpers are evil
oh who?
Yeah, but that’s what makes for good drama.
Besides, @Bluecookies, the point of the school is to learn and develop new powers, even from having none. Not to already be super powerful. Why not have most of these be dormant or something until they’re older and only have one active power and maybe learn/unlock a second at school?
I can’t remember names but she’s the daughter of two Greek Gods. Maybe Lorelai?
Without the Art of the Earthly Multitude, Moon wouldn’t have survived if they tried to kill her, and they definitely would have. It’s weird, so you can become immortal, but True Immortality only comes with Enlightment in which you become one with everything. So, with her abilities having been taught as opposed to natural or innate, I’m not sure what to take away without the Jade Emperor killing her off a long time ago, not wanting another Wukong situation again.
Basically the artifact keeps her from going, “Hey, I kind of feel like overthrowing the headmaster today, wouldn’t that be fun?”
I’d probably just take away some on the things she can turn into.
