Well, Moon is 500 years old, and like previously mentioned, they’re not innate or natural, heck, she could probably teach others if she wanted to. 
I just want to say though, I do understand where you’re coming from and with happened earlier, I’m not trying to argue, I just can’t see what could feasible be taken without it resulting in her being killed long before the school even exists… 
Okay, I don’t understand any of this, I’m sorry. All I know is that Ethereal doesn’t usually like characters to have more than two active powers and your characters does seem far too powerful despite the condition.
I’m sorry, I guess I just don’t understand why someone so powerful is at a school that teaches this stuff when even you say she can teach it.

So am I, welcome to Chinese mythology. Moon doesn’t have True Immortality, that only comes with Enlightenment which Monkey only got at the end of Journey to the West.
So, as best I understand it, there’s multiple ways to become Immortal, but True Immortality is only gotten with Enlightenment when you become one with everything.

I remember from a past conversation on this thread that she has said this before on this character or a similar one, that’s why I am saying it. 'Cause Ethereal even says that she doesn’t explain things the way she would like or hurting people’s feelings, so I was only help to explain what I know. Plus, I still don’t understand the character, so I was trying to do that too.
BUT if Ethereal wants me to stop and she is cool with an OP character, then I will, @Skyler2. But that’s up to her.
