Exactly … and RN I’m not in one, but in two conversations where my character thinks of the other part of the conversation as somebody likely to become a friend and they hide a dark secret that involves them not being themselves and harming others, unable to controll it and unable to bring themselves to say what it is (The only exception is Hrvoje already said he was a werewolf, and Kale hasn’t yet told Luang the truth). Both of them think the other party deserves to hear the truth before starting a friendship, but don’t want to face the repearcussions of what they deserve to be treates as when they come out (etc, I should tell her that I’m a monster, but then she will know and everybody will know and I will be treated like a monster even though I can’t help it)
