don’t worry he’s not a minister. When somebody knocked on the door he jumped up and got on his knees and started praying ending with “And the holy quacamole, Amen.” totally a real priest

Okay bpalmer I’m gonna sum up the musical to help you, but I don’t think it’s much help
- Guy MC has a date with girl MC but forgets. His boss is going on a cruise and he needs to get a couple of things done for him, including going to Wall Street and selling off all his shares.
- Girl MC sings how she loves Guy MC but he won’t notice, and then Guy MC tells Girl MC he fell in love with a girl and can’t go with her on the cruise (she’s on the same cruise his boss is on)
- Guy MC forgot to give his boss his passport so before the ship sails he’s on it to do just that, but he sees his LI (girl LI from now on) on the ship and decides to stay and talk to her because apparently she’s getting married to a stuffy English guy called … by a girl’s name (that’s as much as I can say lol)
- A gangster dressed up as a minister and his female friend who is also a gangster board the ship …
This is too much to explain, let me just tell you the end.
Girl MC helps break Guy MC and Gangster Minister out of jail by playing strip poker and dressing them up in chinese robes. Girl MC pretends to be Plum Blossom and interrupts English Guy and Girl LI’s wedding and they get married to each other instead. (Meaning Guy MC and Girl LI get married and English Guy and Girl MC get married … dressed in chinese robes lying to everybody on the ship)

I would not have guessed that. I have seen that show one time when I was really young and it went way over my head. I now want to look into it you made it sound way better than a bored confused like 5 year old remembered it.

This is one you want to watch if you want a good Reno and and an okay performance with little humor or electricity between cast
This is one you want to watch for cute couples and if you want a laugh here or there, plus this Moonface Martin isn’t annoying like in the first version, BUT the one thing that cheapens this is the horrible horrible costumes and the horrible wig Reno is wearing.
