When the bell rang to signal the first-class ending, Bertram said his goodbyes to the girl, Jara, and wished her all the best for her next class. Bertram’s next class was Literature and he spent it half taking in what their teacher was saying and half talking with a bubbly scarecrow. He had experienced a living scarecrow once before, for a year when he was seven. His father had enchanted their one and it had been his best friend. They did everything together until that storm hit. The worst storm in years. Rain, wind, lightning! Swampy grounds and fallen trees. A tree was what killed his friend, broke Merlin’s magic and turned him to just straw again. So talking to this scarecrow, Peckerhead, was reminiscent of the good times with his friend.
The bell rang to signal the second-class ending and Bertram said his goodbyes to Peckerhead. Checking his timetable, he learnt that he had Kingdom History & Management and looked at where he had to go. Fair certain he knew, Bertram watched leisurely there. Nearing the classroom, he saw a rather slim boy with slick blonde hair. He opened out his arm, gesturing for him to entering the room first. “After you.” He would then follow the boy in.
@Skyler2 - Kyle - All yours. (wink)
Gayelette left her first class, Advanced Literature, with a very low opinion of the girl she had spoken with. A timid girl who chooses to share no opinions of her own. Oh well, Advanced Mathematics was next and she hoped it’d be better. She was wrong, it was worse, and time couldn’t have gone slower in the class taught by some robotic creature.
When class was over, she was actually refreshed when she glanced at her schedule and spotted she had Kingdom History now. Finally, time to learn about other lands other than Oz. Reaching the classroom, she swung around the doorframe and chose to sit in the front row, a red row, far from any of the masculinity that was already in the room.
