Calista Circe
| Outside || Dark |
Her eyes widened in anger, did he really think that she was that dull? Sure, she had no idea what on earth he was talking about. But at least she wasn’t some vague and mysterious pirate that enjoyed playing games with people. Okay, maybe that last part wasn’t exactly true. The rest, however, was on par. She didn’t say anything, only looked away.
For the first time in a while, Calista was actually curious. She listened with intent, sighing as Dark admitted the issue. She placed her left hand near her lip, trying to think of some answer. “I…” She didn’t have a potion for that. Hell, she didn’t even have any idea. That was until he placed her hand on his chest. Normally, Calista would have been infuriated. She didn’t want anyone touching her. Let alone a human. But he felt different. He wasn’t flirting, he wasn’t forcing it, and he was only proving what he was saying. She paused, not feeling any heartbeat. Then she gradually moved her hands to his neck, checking for a pulse. Like he had said… there was nothing.
She closed her eyes, taking a moment to think. “Who’s your parent?” She asked in a quiet tone, hoping that might have explained something. “And… never mind, it probably wouldn’t work. I’ve never even…” she trailed off, not bothering to finish her sentence.

Alicia Liddel
| Brooks || Chemistry |
Brooks started writing down notes and Alicia couldn’t help but feel a little dejected. Of course, she had just met this person. She had no reason to feel this way. Alicia was surprised at their offer, though appreciated it. “Thank… thank you. But I wouldn’t want to be a burden. Maybe you could just… play something for me some time instead?” Alicia offered, looking down at her notebook instead of facing the potential consequences of what she had said. “I… yes I suppose,” Was all she replied, not wanting to sound anymore foolish. They didn’t elaborate on how skipping was and while Alicia was disappointed, she didn’t pry. “Of course, I don’t need them that much anyway. I have a decent memory. I also read too much for my own good.”

Kyle Forlana
| Kingdom Place || Bertram |
Okay, Kyle was surprised at that reaction. Along with flattered. But that wasn’t the point. Especially not because there was currently a tint of pink on his pale cheeks. He kept his head high as Bertram bowed, well tilted their head. Kyle was counting it as a bow. “Well, Bertram, seeing as you are not a son of my father’s enemies,” he made this up on the spot. His father had a lot of enemies, not that Kyle cared about them. “I suppose that, if you’d like, you could sit with me. Maybe that way you’d have a chance of passing this class.”

Pin Quan Kieu
| Thuc || Advanced Chemistry |
The boy laughed at their attempt at standing up for themself, examing his bruised knuckles as Pin gulped in fear. It’s fine, they thought, just be cool. Pin kept their head held high as they spoke, “Only fools believe they know everything.” Pin had no idea what this boy’s social standing might have been, and Pin didn’t care that much either. They had been raised by General Ho Ton Hien. Well, semi-raised, but now wasn’t the time to think about that.
However, whatever fear Pin had lost in the past few seconds came back tenfold. “No, how dare you.” They spoke without thinking, speaking in a voice much louder than a hiss. They had no intentions of getting in a fight when they walked into this class, let alone their first day, but Pin would gladly make an exception. “You have no idea what she went through. What she sacrificed to take care of you, you ungrateful and spoiled brat. She left you because your witch of a “mother,” as you so choose to call her, ostracised her. The man that you were named after cheated, Thuy had nothing to do with it. So what if she didn’t raise you, maybe if she had you wouldn’t be such an insolent prat.” Pin spoke while looking into their brother’s eyes. So what if they were twins, Pin couldn’t be bothered to care about this awful human being. Their fists hung clenched by their sides, knowing deep down that they would lose whatever fight might arise.
