Kacie went to class for a few periods and decided to go outside and take a break so she could talk to her animal friends. Kacie walked towards a nature trail in the woods and a few woodland creatures came up to her. “Squeak squeaker squeak squeaken.” She giggled as two squirrels crawled up to sit on her shoulder and she continued on the nature trail followed by a deer, a couple of rabbits, a few birds and more creatures it would take a while to list. She eventually found a good clearing that had enough space for all the animals and sat down. She shook her head, “A monkey? Really, wow.” She turned to the turtle slowly trying to get onto her lap, she giggled and gently picked him up and placed him there. “Oh, of course. So to recap, the blue jays were telling me about how their breakfast got interrupted by a monkey and then two guys fighting about the monkey.” She pet the deer and the rabbits that cuddled up beside her. She whistled back mimicking the blue jay’s calls and told them to probably stay away from the one causing trouble for the monkey when she heard a twig snap. She motioned the animals to get behind her just in case, “Hello, who’s there?”
