MEABH AND NEISHA SÍDHE
As google translated Hilda’s next words, Meabh flashed her a grateful smile. It was nice to know that they weren’t alone in their struggles with the atrocity that was the English language. They glanced over at their sister, who was walking normally once again, human disguise complete. There were a few small cracks in her disguise - evidence that she had, in fact, been practicing the darker magicks. Meabh wasn’t clueless, after all, even if Neisha thought she was. They knew full well what Neisha had been up to, and their opinion would never change. Maybe Meabh disapproved, but she would never put chains on the poor girl like Clíodhna had. that was out of line.
“I like it. Not a fan of the uniforms, though.”
Not bothering to translate, Meabh allowed Neisha to take over communications once again. Neisha chuckled slightly at Hilda’s sentiment, agreeing wholeheartedly.
“You and me both”, she said, grinning widely with thinly veiled humour. “I thought all schools overseas had a sort of no uniform policy. I guess this one is an exception.” Neisha finished with a shrug, listening as Hilda asked where the pair, or trio now, was going.
“Yup,” The girl replied simply, making another turn in the twisty corridors, and coming face to face with the grand doors, signalling that they had arrived. “Here we are.”

THUC KIEU SINH
Thuc watched in thinly veiled amusement as the Pin grew ever more emotional and unkempt. He was really getting under the boy’s skin, it seemed. Maybe Pin was doing the same, but Thuc was not about to admit that, obviously.
“Those are strong words coming from a man who moments ago was speaking of their own mother as though she were a saint when anyone with eyes can tell that she is far from that.”
“Oh really?” Thuc purred. Not literally, but his tone was soft and dangerous. “Says the little boy who never met her. Says the little boy who has nothing to do with her, none the less.” Thuc’s voice dripped with venom at this.
However, as the boy spoke next, Thuc laughed, at first. The kid’s growl was hilarious, after all. A sad attempt at being intimidating, it seemed. The words that followed said growl however, froze Thuc in his tracks.
Twin?
Oh dear gods no.
He was silent for a moment, watching Pin with a burning intensity. the similarities were there, Thuc couldn’t deny it. But twins? It seemed far too incredulous to be true, but then again… why would he say it like that if it wasn’t?
“So. Your own mother couldn’t bear to raise you. She left the job to some general instead. That seems to be proving my point.” Thuc spoke quietly, maintaining eye contact throughout his words. A twin he had never met. The woman was more evil than Thuc could ever have imagined, turning his own brother against him. And yet, now that they had finally met, Thuc had little desire to get to know the boy any further. Clearly, he had been brainwashed by that rubbish excuse of a human being, and would be no use as a true family member to Thuc. Too bad.

AMELIA BJORGMAN
Amelia made a good show of listening as Vic spoke. Truly, she did. It was probably that monotone aspect of the whole thing, she assumed, that made the other kid so difficult to pay attention to. However, the contents of her boring voice were not boring at all, rather the most interesting things in the world right now, as far as Amelia was concerned.
By the end of Vic’s talk, they seemed to be referring to themselves in first person again, something Amelia was dying to comment on. She restrained herself, however, waiting until the other had finished speaking entirely. According to her mother, that was the polite way of doing it.
“A Governess, you have. You are a person who is very wealthy? I am human just like you are, I walk and talk like a human because I am a human.”
“You’re a funky human,” Amelia replied, laughing lightheartedly as she did so. She didn’t quite realise how that could be taken as something offensive until a moment later. Too late now. Just roll with it. I’m sure they don’t mind. She had completely forgotten the comment which she had desired to make earlier, of course.
“And yea, I’m a ‘princess’, according to my mother, and should act accordingly. Hah, that’s funny. It’s just so boring, especially as my mother wants me to get married soon.” Amelia rolled her eyes, chattering away now as she was in full flow. “She thinks that I need to fall in love with someone to marry them, which I think is just ridiculous, you know? I don’t want to fall in love, but she doesn’t get that. My friends do, but she doesn’t.”
Amelia finished with a decisive nod, followed by an embarrassed shrug as she realised how much she had been babbling. “What’s your mother like?” Amelia asked, hoping that the redirect of the conversation towards Vic would allow them to forgive her for talking too much.
