“I’m glad you’re here too.” That probably meant she didn’t know what to expect from this class either. I’m glad to hear that becuase maybe we’ll both be happily surprised if the others turn out nice too. “I’m Lav … as in lion.” I gestured paws but didn’t know if that was awkward or funny to her and I hoped she didn’t find it awkward. Then I realised she probably thought I had something to do with lions so I said “It’s just a name though, not my power” and then I felt like I was the most awkward individual to ever step through this doors. I’m what book bullies call a ‘loser’ and I don’t it becuase I know soon enough everybody will start calling me that.
