A power to stop his hate? It all sounded like a form of mind control to Elias. Whatever it was, it seemed dangerous. However, the guy with barely half a braincell refused to believe that. She could just be threatening him, but was he really about to risk another lion attack? He had to do what she demanded, otherwise he’d risk his image. Oh yeah, and his life.
Then, his thought process interrupted- “Wait! You hate me!?” he exclaimed, shocked, as if it were anything surprising. “What did I ever do to you?” he continued, completely ignoring her request to buy food. He was too focused on how he’s perceived, that he didn’t even process what was said afterwards.
It made no sense to Elias. He had just met this girl, yet she tried to murder him, and now she said she hates him? Though, he does give off an arrogant jerk™ vibe, it felt uncalled for, leaving him even more confused than ever. After this all was over, he planned on sleeping for 3 days… Maybe even a week.
