Joelene was very pleased with annoying this sleaze bag of a person. She wondered if she could trick him into insulting himself next, that’d be rather entertaining. She tossed around her salad with her fork as she half-listened to his response. Honestly, his existence would not be so repulsive if he was simply less of a dirtbag and more considerate. However, it’s asking a lot of somebody to change that much of themself, and Joelene has no interest in talking with him more than she had to. He could undoubtedly be less condescending too. “Would you like me to pull up a football quiz so you can brag about your knowledge? Every game, you say? My that’s an impressive feat,” Joelene gave hollow praise. She had to hold her tongue from saying that it was impressively wasteful, at least for the time being. “Well, on the topic of my show interest, there are a few things you have to keep in mind. Shows that involve lying, such as survivor shows, do not interest me. People who lie for their gain are just so despicable, are they not? Nor am I entertained with simple cooking shows. If you must know my show interest, it’d be with sewing. Yet, I prefer doing the work over sitting idle watching. So, to be specific, sew-along videos are my cup of tea. Speaking of, do you enjoy a cup of tea?” Joelene doubted this uncultured, empty-headed heathen liked anything that didn’t have his a ton of sugar packed in a small can. But, she might as well know if her assumptions prove correct.

Her squint was a mixture of funny, cute, and slightly intimidating. Of course, the mix of feelings only made it funnier. Nika watched as her hands slid the lemonade over. The rings on her finger only added to the tinge of jealously he felt when looking at them. He made a mental note of the rings before turning to the lemonade glass. The condensation on the outside of it made him worry a bit. So, he first swept the circumference of the glass with his pointed finger to double-check that his gloves would not render transparent when exposed to water. Luckily, they stayed one hundred percent opaque. Letting out a sigh of relief, he grasped the lemonade and took a sip. It was rather good, did not seem too unhealthy either, which would probably make Tulip happy. “Well, if you did take a drink, I doubt I’d be test subject at that point. Do you want it back? I bet it’s better when you actually have the lemon for it too, thief,” Nika snickered. “Sure, tell me the two guesses. Though, it’s not too fair for you to be the only one risking something. If you get it wrong, I’ll give you two possible names to guess from, and if you get that right, I’ll do a truth or dare. Unless you’d prefer me to do something else.”
