“Please,” Aesthi said, laughing. “Seriously though, speak for yourself. I don’t exactly see a book in your hands either.”
“Bruh!” Quillian literally face-palmed. Slapping his hand to his face, then slowly pulling it down, his glasses slipping down his nose. “Boomer much?! Who uses a book any more?” He held up his phone to show them then used the edge of it to push his frames back up the bridge of his nose. “Technology’s where it’s at now.”
"You sure have a wild imagination.” They laughed again.
The faux dramatics didn’t let up but this time his words were dripping with sarcasm. “Yaas, isn’t it though?! Don’t be a savage queen, you’re just jelly that I’m Dank as f^ck!” He laughed at the inside joke he kept with himself, and wouldn’t dare tell anyone.
“I don’t exactly see a teacher in here, do you?”, Aesthi said, idly drawing. “That means, class hasn’t started yet, and my time is my own, in case you didn’t know.”
He dropped the dramatics and shrugged, going back to scrolling through his socials. “You do you.”
