He gave Danko another Quillian smirk leading to Danko instantly look away and down like a scolded child. “Sorry,” he started to apologise. “I didn’t mean mean to pry.” He thought that that question had been safe to ask, that it hadn’t been an invasion of privacy. Clearly he was wrong. Danko hit the side of his head three or four times, punishing himself for being too invasive, just as Quillian had told him to do in the past. As the son of a Mirror, he was to answer rather than ask, and he should know better. He lowered his hand back down by his sides and uttered, “If there is a topic you’d prefer to talk about then I’d oblige.”
