Myria snorted, she had transformed into ‘Lyna’ but she hadn’t given Lyna total control yet"Why should I flinch being? After all you’re just a little kid who probably has no heritage, you’re as weak as a paper but bark a lot for someone so weak. Your back is much stronger than your bite and you can never scare a lioness, lioness transformers have faced being as powerful as an ancient vampire and demigod. Do you really think you can scare Lyna? " Myria licked her claws. The was small blood on it from the scratch she had given him, Myria was no vampire but strangely the taste of blood aroused her ‘snap out of it Myra! Amarie will have your lion head’ Lyna reminded her of Zurah’s lion, her sister.

“But did you really have to push me off? Do you know how much these pants cost?” Myria rolled her eyes, a quarter? You look really cheap and you also look like a servant son or someone who left their heritage for the world of humans. So probably a quarter

Quill let a poker face roll across her features, her eyes looked like she was thinking of something.

“I was thinking more like a blue jay. Boisterous and lawless, or quiet, stealthy, and of course, nosy.” Kristi snorted, “At least you know you’re quite noisy. I feel like you should have also added annoying and suck up” Kristi told her as she gave her light nod, trying to appear respectful. It was funny how Quill thought she would kill her, Kristi would only curse her for eternity- a curse so great it would make Quill beg for her to kill her but she wouldn’t give her the satisfaction of dying. All Kristi needed to do was learn how to do curses like that. Yes you see, Kristi knew how to curse but curses like that were really great and locked in a book inside this school. She had eavesdropped on her parents talking about a book written in their native language in this school. And though Kristi didn’t want to come here, she was a little happy to come as she could gain knowledge of such powerful spells. Spells no mortal could dare try to get as it would turn them blind and spell no one else but her could translate, After all she didn’t know any other igbo god child in this school. Kristi already knew where it was, she planned to sneak out at night and get it. This could lead to detention but she didn’t care as long as she got what she desired nothing else mattered.

Kristi clapped her hands, her white hair turning back to a normal black and her demonic eyes turning to dark brown. “Oh well you didn’t hear anything, so I guess I can let it sly”

~~~ image~~~ Dormitory | Jakob
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━★━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Floating about with such ease, Jakob truly looked to be in his element. In fact, it was more than mere looks: from the way he moved around so freely to his very disconcerting, bold flirting, César could tell that the other student really was free. And much like the bond the latter shared with his father, it made him green with envy. Yanking the window open with his usual paradoxical grace, César slipped a finger under the hem of Poil de Carotte’s jeans, tugging him inside with a very contemptuous puff.
“Of course you do,” he said with a very judgmental frown. “The uniform is pompous. And so is the entire bygning!” With his hand still hooked around Jakob’s pants -César absolutely did not want his brand new uniform to fly away-, he lifted his chin with great complacence. “Ornaments can look good, but it doesn’t mean you need to put them everywhere. It’s the same with fashion. It’s like half of the students were dressed by a drunk Nicolas Ghesquière, and the other half just rolled out of bed. Both are hideous.”
Now, that was not true. In fact, César had barely seen anyone out of their uniform. But he had a reputation of being overly critical to uphold -and a nagging, clawing jealousy which weighed on his shoulders, as much as he hated to show it. Hence why he had snapped so loudly, silently daring Jakob to contradict him.
Their eyes met again, and at least César could gain a little bit of satisfaction from seeing the way Poil de Carotte’s eyes raked up and down his body. He took a deep breath, examining his own stunning reflection in the sparklingly clean kitchen counter in an attempt to regain his composure. The woollen towel was warm and comfortable around his hips, a feeling that he found was somewhat comforting.
“Well?” he asked with contempt, extending a hand towards the other as if he had never lost his composure. “You did come back with a uniform for me.”
@ethereal | I’m sorry this is a little less good than the previous ones, I’m easing back into it ~ Also, bygning means building :sparkles:
At least you know you’re quite noisy. I feel like you should have also added annoying and suck up” Aquila resisted the urge to roll her eyes back into her skull. She nodded subtly. Okay, I see the suck-up part, but only a little! “‘Annoying’ I suppose I could deal with.”
Kristi clapped her hands, pulling Quill from her thoughts. “Oh well you didn’t hear anything, so I guess I can let it sly” Quill blinked. Did she just practically scare me out of my skin to say ‘oh well’? Quill stood there watching Kristi’s hair and eyes. return to normal. Normally, she’d be jealous that her hair could change color, either by choice or emotion, but she didn’t care at this point. “Oh well,” Quill said, taking a deep breath. She spoke quietly. “You can be scary.” She said with a weak grin. Quill Pulled her knees to her chest. I need a quick breather.
“You can be scary.” Kristi smiled “My mother always said I was a demon.” Kristi grinned. Yeah, she had just practically scared the wits of someone, did she care? Not at all! Kristi liked testing her powers and seeing how many people she could scare, it always worked. From the weakest of creatures/mortals to the strongest of them. They all believed she would give them a great curse, and she will just uh when she gets the book and learns the ancient curses.
Kristi stretched her arms “Do you have any aesthetic? or whatever you call it here?”
*~ Liu Rushi <3 ~*
Theodora ~ advanced chemythstry
Taking it all in, she inspected the fine details of the school — the giant columns stretching all the way to the clouds, the intricate lines of pure gold marbling within the floors. Liu was practically stunned, mouth wide open and everything. It’s not that she hadn’t seen things like this before, but because she always took the time to inspect everything that carries beauty — which was everything and everyone to her. Yes, she had been at the women’s Institute for a while, pretty used to all of the overbearing exteriors of royalty and money — but in her eyes, it was all too… ginormous to just walk into without even a thought. Liu Rushi was over school. In fact, she was simply bored of the idea of it — and the piles work she already understood since she was just a child in primary school. Education came easy to Liu, it always has.
However, the only reason she’d even want to enter this building would be because of possible romances. Liu was a sucker for any gentleman, often too whisked away in her own world of love, and very romantic gestures – dare she thought, to even notice if they were deceiving her or not. Not that she would care. She is a very understanding person; which has it’s downfalls. It was highly improper of her to even think about those types of things, but she could afford to with the very little things she had going on right now. She giggled to herself at the thought of romance happening, and happily settled her things into her room. She was, at least, happy that she wasn’t stuck in an all-female boarding school anymore. She grabbed her bag for the day and freshened herself up rather quickly, due to the lack of time until her next period. Unfortunately, she had a few… disturbances on the trip to the school, making herself later than she had hoped.
She hummed to herself lightly all the way to Advanced Chemythstry and took one of the open seats. As she was reaching gracefully into her bag, pulling out the things she needed for the class, someone had sat in the seat next to her. She was very pretty. Liu watched as the girl waved and wondered who she was. “Hiii, I’m Liu.” She said, looking at the girl with a sweet smile. “How is this class?” She asked, gazing around the room after she had spoken.
@ethereal ahhh, sorry this took so long, I have school work ahah
My mother always said I was a demon.” Quill put her head on her knees. “She wasn’t wrong.” She muttered to herself. Quill took a deep breath. Does every god act similar to her? She simply shivered at the thought of how humanity could end up. May the gods bless her people’s souls.
Do you have any aesthetic? or whatever you call it here?” Quill bowed her head, laying it sideways on her knees, which were still close to her chest. “Like a style?” Quill furrowed her brows slightly. “Yes, everyone does. Even if they have no idea what it is yet.” She lifted her head from her knees “I guess mine would be a pastel grunge aesthetic… at least, that’s what I think it would be. So, how about you?”
The teacher have given them an assignment, Haldir planned to write about Claudius. The antagonist of William Shakespeare’s tragedy Hamlet. Halidr was intrigued by classic literature and liked the human Shakespeare stories.Haldir rolled his eyes as he sees an enormous shadow casted in front of him. Haldir turned around, he was expecting to see a big repulsive giant. When he turned around, he didn’t at all expect what he saw. Instead of a giant, there stood a half man half cow. Haldir brought a dagger from his socks, he knew how dangerous this being are.
“She wasn’t wrong.” Kristi heard quill mutter and she rolled her eyes. You scare a human once and they start getting in their feelings, god people are so petty. Besides, Kristi was bigger and better than a demon.
“Like a style?” Kristi snapped her neck towards Quill, she nodded. “I guess mine would be a pastel grunge aesthetic… at least, that’s what I think it would be. So, how about you?” Kristi thought about it for some seconds before saying "The blood of my enemies, with their bones printed in beautiful fabrics for me to wear. It’s so pleasing, though for some reasons my mom doesn’t like it . "
ORP: I just realised I haven’t got a template for him so here’s a fast one I pulled
I came to the class a bit after some people. I wanted to sit in the far back, closest to the door, but that spot was already taken, so I sat in the far back closest to the window, right behind a man with noticably shiny blonde hair and a hint of pointy ears. As I stood behind him, right as I was ready to sit down on this tiny chair ready to balance my weight on it as best as I could withouth breaking it, he turned around and faced me. The elf look both a bit afraid and angry, a look I know very well form the olden days from people who mostly hurt me and wanted to slay me … But they could never complete their job, that’s why I’m here today. However, as I noticed him reaching for a dagger into his socks I knew he was about to attacke me, and like any other creature that goes for the kill straight away, I could defend myself by attacking it … However I stopped myself thinking, this creature might not be human, but it’s still one like me, that comprehends the same amount humans do, and can maybe spare my life if I show I’m not a threat. I can’t attack a man who attack me out of fear, this is like any situation with humans, I just have to show him there’s nothing to be afraid. I have to show I’m vulnerable, even thought I know his tiny sharp knive can’t even pierce my skin 'afore my horn would be deep inside his stomach able to do a fair amount of damage if I twist it and tug, but I have to seem as if It’s the other way around, and his knive can kill me. So with fear in my eyes evoked from such interactions with dozen of people all at once ready to skin me alive and put my head up on their wall like a trophy , I pleaded “Please, don’t kill me, just exile me like everybody else, I don’t want to die.”
Ari pressed her lips together, though she didn’t look disgusted or exasperated with Bay. Bay couldn’t really tell how she did look, though. Ari would definitely have to meet Cam-she would love him, he was perfect!! Who wouldn’t love him was more of the question. Ari leaned away slightly when Bay yelled in her face, so she made a mental note to turn her volume down a bit. Of course, she would probably forget about this “note” in a few seconds, though.
Ari smiled, unlike most people after being bombarded with Bay’s questions. And then, she began to answer each and every one. She was really patient and catering… sorta like Cam, now that Bay thought about it. Except she was a girl and Bay’s friend, not her boyfriend. She described her father, Little John as “The greatest dad ever”, and despite the excited smile on her face as she listened, she felt a twinge of jealousy-salty like the ocean. She barely knew her dad, and from what she did know, it was more like worst dad ever! “Emotionally in tune.” Bay tried to grasp at what this meant. Her parents had never really seemed to care what she wanted or how she felt. "Greatest dad ever?" She repeated, both curiously and sullenly. She thought it was really cool Ari even got to hang out with Robin Hood. Ariadne went on to explain who exactly Robin Hood and Little John were-thieves who stole from the wealthy and fave to the poor. She didn’t understand much about debt and taxes, but she liked the idea of helping the poor. Ari’s eyes sparkled with admiration for her father. Bay wondered if she should consider becoming the Robin Hood of Once Upon a High. Perhaps that would make people admire her, too. “How did he do it?” Bay asked, greedy for more information. “How did he get the wealthy’s money? Did he have to dress up? Or did he use an invisibility spell?” She asked, sounding slightly suspicious, as if she were trying to form her own plans. But really, she was curious. She imagined him sort of like a spy, twisting and turning through a web of lasers in a vault to steal a large diamond and give it to the poor.
Ariadne smiled fondly. “Although Dad is called ‘Little John’, he is about seven feet tall.” Bay’s eyebrows furrowed as she tried to remember how tall that was. I’m like, five feet, two inches… Then, her eyes nearly popped out of her head. “Holy guacamole!” And there she went, yelling again. “That’s so tall! Why is he called Little John, then? That makes no sense!” Bay questioned, sounding very perplexed. Her eyes were wide as Ariadne began to tell the story of how her dad met Robin Hood-in vivid detail. She could definitely be a storyteller. Bay wiggled in her seat, hands in her lap, listening. It was sorta funny, hearing a story about how two people became friends, while she was forming a new friendship with Ariadne. “Awww that’s so sweet!” Bay said when Ariadne was done talking, completely ignoring the part where someone drowned in a brook. “And they’re still friends today? You’re super good at telling stories, Ari!”
Roles reversed-Ari was the one asking the questions now, which was pretty exciting for Bay, since she liked answering them almost as much as asking them. “So, I started attending an all-girls underwater boarding school when I was in first grade.” Bay didn’t have a very good memory, so she repeated Ari’s questions over and over in her head, trying to remember them and their order. “Yeah!! It was kinda like an underwater castle! Picture this school, but with a LOTT more algae. And mermaids. And no boys.” Bay said, seeming disturbed by the idea of algae and no boys. “Ooo, good question! My tail is greenish-blue-teal, that’s the word! Yeah, scaly! And there’s like, gems and shells on it. And I can breathe underwater, too!” Bay bragged, Ari’s visible excitement motivating her to continue to blabber. “Do you like dogs like your dad?” Ariadne asked next. Bay seemed to freeze, as she tried to remember. Her dad liked dogs…? She could sort of remember grey fur, and a warm tongue licking her hand. Well, she did like dogs. “Yeah, I LOVE dogs!!! I wish Cam and I had a dog, but I don’t think a dog would really be suited for our cove.” Bay answered thoughtfully. “Which parent are you more like?” Was the final question, which did make Bay pause and take a large breath. She hardly knew her parents. She didn’t know which she was more like at all. All she knew was that they both sucked. “Ahhh I don’t know. Maybe my Mom since she’s a girl and has red hair? But I’m not really…like either of them.” Bay admitted, looking at her hands, as if it hurt to admit this. “They’re stupid and dumb. And I’m not stupid and dumb, right?” Anger made her appear less sad. It would’ve seemed like she was fishing for Ari’s compliments, if it wasn’t for her genuine eyes, staring at Ari imploringly.
Kristi paused, probably thinking. “The blood of my enemies, with their bones printed in beautiful fabrics for me to wear. It’s so pleasing, though for some reasons my mom doesn’t like it.” Quill covered her face with her hands and squeezed her eyes shut. “In a real sense, I may have given up on humanity.” Quill chuckled as he looked up. “That’s a very distinct aesthetic, Kristi.” Quill said, nodding.
Aquila touched the piercings on her bottom lip. “Wait how would you turn their bones into fabric?” Quill barely realized she was feeding the fire. “Assuming your grinding the bones or whatever, wouldn’t you end up with powder?”
With his steam still blowing off his head, he looked away to Valentina, curious to what she would say. This would be his answer to his undying question: a helper or a foe? With an apology flowing in her mouth, he slowly looked at her direction, still unsure to her sincerity. Though there is regret, he has seen pattern of people breaking such attitudes. Not much from personal experience, more so in what he saw in his small environment that he calls his own gallows. As much as he expected just a plethora of ‘sorry’, he had a slight shock in his face as he heard a disagreement to what he had said. Of course, he could be mad, but he waited a little bit as he listened to what she can even say to his words.
To the conclusion of his speech, he was left speechless. Not as poetic as his crumbling rage before, but to what she had said… it felt nothing. The harder the things he had thought of, the darker the memories he dwelled upon his own thoughts. Linen. Teacup. Wood. Gasoline. Sugar. Pavements. Chalk. Those certain thoughts in his mind learned that this girl’s experience is nothing from what he had seen. He pushed so far that he couldn’t even lick a taste of what air feels like to the other side. It’s a hideous fate, really. As whimsical her tone, his sense of self faltered. It felt as if nothing mattered, this classy side of his grew weak as his only defense was crossing his arms. Maybe their sayings were true. And as he processed it all, he only wanted to have a laugh. A simple laugh really, nothing more. But he wondered, why does his vision go blurry? Is he losing his mind like his father? Is this him fainting? It couldn’t be it, he felt his cheeks has gone wet. May looked back, figuring out what had happened, and as he abruptly wiped his own eyes, and looked back as if nothing had ever happened; a slight smile with its only clue being his puffy red eyes.
As he desperately cheered himself up with a similar pain to hit her a bit, it seemed to have quite failed miserably to his own part. Of course time had passed, that helped, but overall was still bothered with what had happened before. With her reply to such a composed yet bothered May, his enthusiasm grew little by little as he felt a sense of pain when she confessed and felt pain, “But when I start to feel the hurt, I focus on all the good she gave me.”, Valentina replied back. Though with her comment, he shook his head in disbelief as he murmured, “Ernly canny good he did wez extra help in poems an inspo.”
With a few conversations, he looked back at the classroom to notice an older looking staff going quite close to his class. Sh**t, he thought. As he look back to Valentina in a hurry, he frantically worried as he slipped back onto his accent, “How , you’re in the same class wi me, reet ? If so, yee betta come quickly!”
Emerson had to duck slightly to enter the Kingdom management classroom, almost bumping her head on the doorframe. “Uh oh. Just gotta remember to duck.” They muttered to themselves. They sat down in a desk next to a red headed girl with green eyes. Unfortunately, their legs were quite long, which was a bit of an issue sitting in the desk. “Uh, this is fine.” They said, glancing at the girl. She probably thought they were nuts.
Rory finalized name plat
“Yeah no knights a lumberjack which is kind of interesting but no knights. I think it has to do with mom not being a princess and stuff.” Rory added as they walked. “None of those just a naive girl, the forest, a wolf, some treats and her granny.” I say as I shrug and try to think of a better reason than that was just how the story was. Rory was not familiar with Aodghan’s but assumed that is possessed all the things that he had listed off in some kind of magical trek for romance or something like that. Rory was pulled from his thoughts when he heard Aodghan ask about his maps. “Yeah I do its pretty fun and helpful.” Rory said with a smile. “Im glad you think it is kind of cool not everyone does. And I would love to hear the ocean I have never gotten the chance.” Rory giggled when Aodghan said trees were cool. “And the ocean itself isn’t? I have seen trees and trees and trees and yes none are the same or look the same but I have never seen water beyond a lake or stream.” Rory tried to convey the same amount of amazement that Aodghan had about trees.
Rory was thankful for the rush to class it was the first day so he assumed not much would come of being late or things like that seeing as most students were still settling in but he still disliked being late in general. Rory sat beside Aodghan and smiled. “Im ok dont worry.” Rory reassured him as Aodghan looked at his hand as if he may have accidentally hurt Rory.
Are you new here too by any chance? Olinda nodded at Evelyn’s question. “That, I am.” she said as she watched her come near her again. She thought it was the end of her stalling for someone else’s sake, but it seems like there was yet another issue.
Apparently, Evelyn has given her luggage to someone she assumed to be a luggage carrier. How she came into that situation? Who knows, but what Olinda knows that her new roommate is, in fact, an absent-minded or a careless individual. This was an awkward state for Evelyn, probably, but she agreed with her, though—this school literally has everything, so why should they lack luggage carriers? “It is, in fact, not fitting.” she said, pausing for a while.
An idea immediately formed in her mind, and her face lit up to hint that. “If you want to reassure yourself, though, why don’t you come with me?” she suggested, moving her body to invite the girl to a walk. “I am going to talk to the head of this school, or at least one of the authority, after all. I think you can solve your problem there.” It may seem like it’s not Olinda’s cup of tea, but she’s not really alient to the concept of helping. In fact, it’s one of the things that has helped her get to where she is. Aside from that, she just wanted to get where she is. And what’s better than to actually lead Evelyn there?
Katsu was awkward in class to say the least. The teacher being so much like their dad made them uncomfortable top it off with the fact they had never had a class with other people before today and everything just felt so foreign that it was a little overwhelming. Katsu was pulled from their thoughts when they heard the boy again but this time repeat their name. Katsu smiled. “Yep Katsu. And Stirner you said right?” They asked just to make sure. They had a nice but unconventional name though Katsu wasn’t one that had much room to talk on unusual names. “Thats a tricky question.” Katsu admitted as they thought about it. Their thoughts were pulled away from it faster than they had wished though when the teacher announced the assignment. Katsu politely raised their hand. “Your Darkness I have a question about the assignment.” Kats stated sounding rather bored but looked at Stirner the intended to answer his question but had to take up an issue with their first assignment first. “Do you agree with this assignment because I dont” Katsu told Stirner as they took a deep breath and waited for what darkness had to say to them.
Hearing the newly met person, or the lion, whatever she was, Elias couldn’t help but roll his eyes. It had been threatening at first, but hearing her go on a long rant eased the feeling of danger. However, he shouldn’t forget that she could easily turn into a lion once again.
Ah, so her name is Lyna… after the entire rant, this is the only thing his 2 braincells registered. Well, he could’ve answered all her questions, but at this point he was way too scared to speak, no matter how much he wanted to deny it. He had come to the genius conclusion that a lion can, in fact, eat him.
“I’m not a servant, for your information.” he crossed his arms again. “Thanks to you, I’m now late to class.” Although, she wasn’t exactly at fault, this gave him the perfect excuse to miss at least a week of classes. “Well, it was nice meeting you,” he continued, still refusing to look her in the eye. “I hope to never see you again.” he added, turning to head inside the school.
Murder is illegal inside the school, right? - he thought, as he contemplated whether or not he could outrun a lion.
“I hope to never see you again.” Myria rolled her eyes but then thought of something, ´do it, bite him´ Lyna said as she watched the interaction. ´What would your sister and mine think?´ Myria questioned. Lyna paused for a second before saying ´We can deal with them.´ Myria nodded in Lyna´s body and transformed herself into a lion, running after the boy before finally biting his trousers.
:butterfly: Dorm Hall ~ Olinda :butterfly:
Evelyn’s face lit up hearing Olinda. “Thank you so much for your help!” It was fitting that she’d thank her for all she’s done so far. Evelyn had asked a large amount of questions, and to a person in a hurry at that. “I’m sorry again for holding you up!” she smiled awkwardly, as she caught up to Olinda. “I swear, this doesn’t happen often!” she let out an uneasy laugh.
This had been a long, eventful day, and it’s only just the beginning. Evelyn had started feeling like she’s bothering Olinda a bit too much. Having her roommate hate her would be a huge problem. Of course, Evelyn had plenty of friends. Some might even say too many. But still, an enemy could have a much bigger effect on her reputation. Though this might be over-exaggerating, considering Olinda doesn’t hate her. At least, not yet.
Either way, Evelyn had to make it up to her. “Listen,” she started, walking down the hall to the office. “I know that I might’ve gotten on your nerves a bit today.” she continued. “Is there any way I can make it up to you?” she smiled at Olinda. Hopefully, she accepts the offer, or at least forgives her.
