Devi laughed at the girl’s shock. “Yeah, I can. Sorry for startling you. I just figured we couldn’t really communicate in my monkey form.” She explained, biting into the peach. “I like all fruit too. Apple as and peaches are probably my favorites, though. Oh, I’m Devi. You?”

I looked at my food. It was really falt for what I imagined a pizza ‘pie’ to be like … I thought it would actually be more like a pie than this. I sniffed it. “Well … here goes nothing!” I said as I took the fork and knive and cut a small piece. I put it in my mouth not expecting much, but I was happily surprised. "Wow … this is … " While speaking I was still chewing "great … it’s got tomato sauce … melted … cheese … crunchy bread and … " Then I swallowed “it’s warm. I love when food is warm especially if it’s bread or has bread in it. Or toasted bread! But anyways … would you like to try a slice Hanako?” I asked after I remebered that she said she also hasn’t tried it.

Anang nodded. “Nice to meet you, Emeka!” So far, so good. They didn’t say anything to embarrass themself just yet, and they’d really like to keep it that way. However, Emeka then posed them a strange question.
My… Name? But I’d already introduced myself, didn’t I? The only things they could think of were that either they didn’t introduce themself, or Emeka was just as awkward as them. Anang then chuckled, but regained a smile quick. They didn’t want to seem like they’re making fun of him “My name is Anang.”
“And yes… Everyone does make mistakes, thank you!” It was a bit comforting to hear that coming from someone. Anang had a tendency to doubt themself pretty quick, so that was nice to hear. However, they still had it in their head that everything had to be perfect, no mistakes made. They were a waste of time, no matter how much someone would want to convince you that “you learn from your mistakes”. There were better ways to learn.
And thinking of learning, Anang thought of a great conversation topic. “So, what’s your favorite subject?” Ah yes, social skills +100. Now Emeka would know their first and only love is studying.

Ah, his parents. Just great. Elias was hoping that the girl wouldn’t ask him about that, because now he’d have to make up a huge lie. Either that, or dodge the question. “My parents are none of your concern. Telling you who they are would ruin the fun, after all.” he smirked, but his expression quickly turned cold. “And they don’t suck, for your information.”
What was the deal with her anyway? It’s like she was insisting that Elias buys her food. The only thing Elias could think of at this point was that she was obsessed with him. “You know what?” he started. It felt like she was in love with him, at this point. Although he couldn’t be further from the truth. “I know your secret, you have a crush on me. But don’t worry, I won’t tell anyone… at a cost.”
@LunaticLeviTheSecond || x Aoife MacCool x
omg I can’t- the second hand embarrassment lmaoo
After the guy said I had a crush on him I burst out laughing. “Are you trying to escape me by making me roll on the floor laughing? That’s probably the only funny thing you ever said in your life.” I smirked “You can tell anybody you think I have a crush on you, but nobody sane is going to believe that anybody could like you. And yes that means I think you’re insane for believing anybody but yourself and your mother would ever fall in love with you. Seriously you’ve got a face only a mother could love.” I thought he maybe in love with himself so I came close to him, hoping I hit an insecurity by whispering “What the hell is up with your face? You look to girly for any girl who isn’t a lesbian to like you … but you’d still be a dissapointement to them since you’re not a girl, even though you look strangely like one.” I came back “You act like one too.” I smiled before saying “And I warned you before didn’t I?” I kicked him in the shin because I knew he expect where to be kicked and would be able to protect this part because of the warning I gave him, but he didn’t expect to be kicked in the shin first and then in his nether regions. I grabbed his hair and made him look at me while saying “Now with people like you, that’s what I call an apology. But I fear you don’t deserve one from me.”
@idiot.exe - is this too much without your consent? Should I change it?
Hanako watched Lav dramatically try the pizza, giggling. She smiled when he asked if she wanted to try it. “Sure, why not.” The way he described it made it sound really good. She leaned over, cutting a piece and putting it in her mouth. “Hmmm…this is pretty good. We don’t have cheese in Japanese food, so this is completely new to me.”
@LunaticLeviTheSecond - Lav
I was glad she liked the pizza just as much as me, but I was happy that instead of her seeing me experience the new and scary things, but this time it was both of us experiencing something. I remebered all the new things I experienced with her and the other girl and I remebered something suddenly. “I almost forgot. We said we’d make out instagrams on lunch break.”
“Oh, yeah! Ok, let’s see how this works.” She said, pulling out her phone and installing Instagram. “Alright, I’m going to create an account really quickly.” She said, quickly creating an account. “This is pretty easy. You just need a username and password. Then you’re all set.” This was pretty exciting. She knew about social media, but she’d never had one before.
@LunaticLeviTheSecond - Lav
When she installed the application and made the account in a matter of minutes I was woved by how fast she was. But I didn’t know if praising her more than I already did would make her feel weird, like she doesn’t deserve it, so I just said “Wow it’s that easy to make an account?” instead of ‘Wow you’re so fast.’. When I opened the application I saw some other accounts and noticed how they all have pictures of themselves on it so I offered to do it for Hanako “Vixy, do you want me to take a picture of you? It’s just something for your profile.”
ORP: I can’t find another picture of your FC, but I bet Lav is gonna aks you to take a picture of him and his FC is Jaco Van Den Hoven … also I’m planning on really making an instagram account on the instagram form you know? Do you plan to do the same?
x Cafeteria x
Elias then started laughing at her insults. “I look and act like a girl, really? What year is this?” At this point, she was flirting too hard with him, she didn’t even notice her own words coming out of her mouth. Yes, that’s exactly it. “Who cares? I know you’re madly in love with me.” he smirked. “Are you disappointed that I’m not a–”
And suddenly, the strange girl tried to kick him. His eyes widened in shock. However, he was still on edge from the previous fight, so he managed to pull himself away from her, but she still hit his leg. “Okay now that’s going too far! You can’t just hit me to make me ugly so you’d stop being in love with me!”
He then backed further away from her. “Apology not accepted, get therapy!” Like he was the one to talk. After today’s events, he’d need not only therapy, but maybe even a stay at a mental hospital. If everyone in this school reacted to being in love with him like that, then he’d rather live in the dumpster next to the school. At least the rats are nicer.
@LunaticLeviTheSecond || x Aoife MacCool x
Lav seemed surprised she made the account so fast. “Yeah, it’s pretty easy.” Lav asked if she wanted to take a picture oh her for her profile. “Sure. Want me to do one for you?” She asked, handing him her phone. She looked at the camera, smiling. “Let me know when you’ve taken it. Then I’ll take one for you.”
@LunaticLeviTheSecond - Lav
Sure, I’ll find one. Yeah, I was planning to make her an insta.
I started laughing “Why would you think I would ever aplogize to you.” I said while supressing laughing again. “No, I meant beating you up is like an apology for me. I realized I can’t get an apology from a narcissistic failure, so might as well beat you up to not be dissapointed by this interaction, because honestly, at this point I learned the only way somebody can enjoy an interaction with you is if you were kissing the ground beneath them.” I smiled villainously “Now! You better shut up because you’re p!ssing me off.” I crouched and took the hidden blade from my sock and rose up to form a pose as if I was ready to fight, which I always am “You don’t want to be my new training dummy, do you? Because the way you’re acting you’re heading that way. And trust me, you don’t want to fight a girl trained in the art of war, unless you want to end up chum in the ocean, that is.” I flicked the blade all the while smiling like a villain waiting to see what he decides. “The first kick was angry with you, which I presume everybody you ever meet is, so I took that as an apology. This is because you’re so annoying, i’d be a fool not to use my skills and talents in armed combat on you. Honestly it’s your choice if you want to live like a nice person, who can say when they’re wrong and take blame when they are to blame, or you can blame everybody for everything until the rest of your life … which in that case would be very … very … soon.”
I took her phone and as she smile into the camera, I could notice it wasn’t a genuine one, and I liked when she smiled genuinley, so I looked at her, tried to get her attention that way and smiled at her. Somehow it worked and she smiled back at me and at that moment I took the picture. I looked down to realise how better she looked when she was actually smiling at something. I turned the camera and told her “You’ve got a dynamite smile. But sure … I would love for you to take my picture. But please make me look good … I don’t know if my face is beautiful or how I should look more appealing. Or if I fit into any beauty standards … Is my face too fat? Do … do I look handsome enough Hanako?”
Hanako blushed when Lav said she had a nice smile. She took her phone back, looking at the picture he’d took. “Oohh, nice one. Thanks. Ok, give me your phone and I’ll take one.” She patted him on the back when he asked if he was handsome. “Yes. You really are honestly.” Crap. She said that out loud, didn’t she? Whoops. “Just smile. That’s all you have to do.”

Well, Elias might’ve gotten a bit too comfortable. The weird girl, whose name he still didn’t learn, had now pulled out a knife. There had to be something in the school rules against that, right? Even if there were, Elias wouldn’t care enough to read the rules. And since when does he care about order? And a bigger question, why aren’t any of the students paying attention?
Whatever the reason, if no authority were informed, this could drastically escalate. As if being attacked once wasn’t enough today. At this rate, Elias won’t even get to eat lunch, and he was starting to get hungry.
“Oookaaayyy… First of all, I am not arrogant. As I remember it, you tried to kill me?” Once he remembered the knife, he had to speak faster. “S-second of all, put the knife down, maybe? I don’t think that’s how you confess your love, at least not where I come from.” And here he goes again, but this time, his voice was shaky again. “What would you a-accomplish from killing me anyway? A nice bed in prison? Think about it, how will you marry me if you’re locked up? Not that I’d willingly marry you, but if you’re rich, I’d consider it.”

“Nice to meet you, Emeka!” Emeka nodded, “Nice… you to. I mean to meet you” Emeka smiled, this was how people communicated right? Yup, he hoped so at least. Gods, if only he had interacted with more people before in his lifetime.
Emeka noticed the person being silent, this caused some thoughts in his head ‘had he said something wrong?’ Or ‘was this not how people communicated?’ he bit his lips, was asking for their name wrong? No, it couldn’t be. They asked for his name and so. Chuwkuemeka sighed, he was truly a disappointment. “My name is Anang.” Emeka raised his head to face them, “That’s a charming name.” Yup, truly a informal way to talking to someone who you want as a friend. His father would have been proud of his social skills.
“And yes… Everyone does make mistakes, thank you!” Emeka nodded, he had seen people talk about ‘everyone making mistakes’ to comfort others and so he knew that maybe he should say this.
“So, what’s your favorite subject?” Emeka took a bite off his pizza, “Social education and science” He said, “I like how their a taught, and how I learn stuff” Wow, Emeka truly was good at this whole conversation thing. “So what about yours? And what is your favorite color?”

He was holding his breath. His cheeks appeared fuller, his eyes full of intensity as he awaited his answer. Which would certainly be “yes”. Why wouldn’t it be? Garçon was a friendly guy-his tone betrayed no such thing as snobbery, or rudeness. His eyes shimmered, his bright, perfect smile shone like a white wall. And the way he carried himself-who wouldn’t be happy to let him sit at their table, earning themselves a great new friend? But the boy’s sharp, sarcastic tone interrupted his self-praise. ”No, my invisible friends are sitting here. This is Adelaide. She’s kinda shy.” Eyes as deep as Garçon’s flicked to the side as he introduced one of the “friends” that sat at the empty tale. Their eyes met again and that same sparkly, flickering feeling traveled through every part of Garçon once more, making his heart feel like it would burst from all the beating. His hands drummed lightly on the sides of the tray, which marked the seat he wanted. Garçon was not one to give up so easily, despite the fact that the mysterious carnival stranger did not want him around. His slightly deflated ego would’ve brought him much more pain if it weren’t for his thumping chest and the ecstasy that reuniting with the boy in front of him brought. This feeling pushed away the hurt, lining the boy’s words in shimmering silver, bringing an easygoing grin to Garçon’s handsome face, a light chuckle filling the air around them.
He looked towards the empty space, smiling in a devastatingly charming way. “It’s an absolute pleasure to meet you, Adelaide. No need to be shy, I promise I don’t bite. At least not in public.” A glance back in the visible boy’s direction betrayed who he really wanted to be flirting with. “Anyone else I should know about?” He raised a playful, questioning eyebrow. And after a moment, he made a bold suggestion. “You, perhaps? My name is Garçon Fils Le Mec.” How he itched to know the stranger’s name. For so many nights, he laid imagining encounters with a man he hardly knew, a man he only knew the face of. He needed to know what name matched the face he had been envisioning for so long. By then, the boy had offered a somewhat wary smile, saying the seat was (obviously) free. Garçon gave a much friendlier (and toothier) smile, nodding as he relaxed his posture and reached for his meal. He was hungry.

He was quite perplexed as the boy in front of him began to explain the rooming-alone situation to him. It was not so simple a reason as luck or special request as Phong would assume. Instead, it had something to do with safety, locks, barricades, and ghosts. All of this sounded a bit too big of a bite than Phong could chew. Was he perhaps extremely superstitious? Were ghosts roaming the school? He had been unaware of this. Phong was not one to bombard another with questions. Questions revealed confusion as well as interest, and he wasn’t keen on admitting he had either. So he paused, staring at the boy with a face as pale as the moon and as blank as a cloudless sky. Finally, he spoke slowly. “’Their safety’? Ghosts? I have to admit, I am a bit confused… Are you some sort of prisoner? Or are you just deathly afraid of ghosts.” He didn’t promise to withhold judgement, in fact, his expression revealed he was already judging this boy, and would probably continue to do so. He was not scared, though. Just puzzled, and admittedly intrigued.
”Nice to meet you, Luan Phong,” said the boy, who was apparently called “Kay-le”, unlike the leafy green vegetables that Phong often enjoyed in salads back on the moon. “Likewise, Kale Ka’ana’ana.” Phong agreed in return, pronouncing Kale’s name slowly and correctly. “The teacher might pronounce my name wrong too. It happens.” He said simply, though by the looks and actions of this tall, cloaked teacher, Phong hoped they did not speak his name at all-correctly or incorrectly.
Kale defended himself, and Phong listened with tight lips. He didn’t want to be skeptical, that was probably true. It would be hard to find anyone in a crowded room like this, despite the fact it was large and grand, not cramped. He took a seat without saying anything. ”I doubt you’ll find a place anywhere else, unless you found some better friends already.” Kale said, and Phong didn’t know whether to feel upset or sorrowful. He decided he definitely wasn’t angry. It was more no-emotions than angry. “No. I haven’t spoken to anyone besides you all day, Kale Ka’ana’ana.” Phong stated, not like it was a bad thing. Kale called him ‘friend’. He did not mind this. He stared at his plate, white and round like the moon. Everything reminded him of the moon. He became defensive once again, Phong regretted being so harsh. Now, not only did he look cranky and accusatory, he also bore the impression of caring way more than he really did…
He looked around as Kale spoke. His neck did not move, only his dark eyes, which though despite intense, did not reveal any sort of emotions or secrecy. “Thank you. These seats are nice. Not too close to the sunlight.” He preferred the dark. The moon was dark and cold. His tone was bland, but genuine. He began to nod in an understanding way. Despite not trying to find him in line or in the halls, Phong still had a place in Kale’s mind. He’d found them seats. He tried to smile at the dramatic joke. “All is settled between us, friend. How did you know I prefer the darker part of the room? I admit, I overreacted slightly. So…perhaps you can forgive me too.”
@lunaticlevithesecond - kale : omg sorry i took so long!! Your post was incredible i love Kale, he’s really cool.
He chuckled as her pointer finger made its third revolution about her ear. ”I can see.” He peeled a pepperoni from his pizza, placing it in his mouth and eating it. Even something like that looked good on him. He stared into her eyes, sending a gust of excitement through her heartstrings and painting her face cherry red. ”No, not at all.” Her eyes widened as did her smile. Camilla beamed at him, heart pounding faster and faster. He understood!! He was on her side! That basically made him Camilla’s favorite person in the world. “Exactly!! He basically acts like my Dad. well, not like my actual Dad, but a Dad.” She felt slightly panicked, she didn’t want to talk about her biological dad so she’d better change the subject quick. “Anyways, that gets reeeally annoying. But he’s a good brother still. Do you have any brothers?” She rambled, wanting to know more about Alec.
He grinned cheekily, accepting his new position. She smiled broadly, but when he offered for her to feel his abs, she looked really flustered instead. She almost considered actually reaching out. Was he being serious? Her eyes were wide as she stared at his leather-clad chest. “I-I-” she stammered, tone still bright, but less self-sure. Luckily, he showed interest in Ru the knight and she was able to stop imagining what his abs might look like and talk about something else. Though the way his smooth question echoed in her head didn’t help the jitters. Her face mimicked a pepperoni, it was so, so red. She wanted to slap herself. What were these feelings? Familiar, definitely. But they felt new, fresh, and alive. Belle? Wasn’t that the name of the girl her father had liked? Camilla didn’t consider herself like a Belle-beautiful and intelligent. But she did feel very flattered. She shook her head slowly. “No…No, I wouldn’t.” But get caught doing what?
”Huh? You were here before?” Alec asked. Camilla nodded, “Yeah, this is actually my second year,” She smiled. That probably meant he was new…right? She shook her head, though her smile was too gigantic to be hidden by humility. “I don’t know about ‘school belle’… actually I hardly know anyone. And hardly anyone knows me. Y’know…Jason…” She smiled uneasily, trying not to look sad or anything. The pizza hovered by her lips once more, another piece missing-this one in Alec’s stomach. Was she supposed to…? Her hunger won, and she took a ginger, yet deep bite into the slice, eyes not leaving his. Sharing was caring, she supposed though the past few minutes of her life were different than any she’d ever had. He nodded, bringing Camilla relief. “Thank goodness!!!”
@Kristi - alec : IM SIMPING SO HARD RN- sorry I took so long thank you for waiting and not taking my love away D’: ALSO OMG INDIRECT KISS?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
This girl was pretty bad at being subtle. It was soo obvious she was checking out each and every couple that bought their pair of golden tickets, doe-like eyes filled with envy and longing. With a shake of her head, brown curls falling to frame her face, she turned away quickly. And students walked to cover Valentina’s sight line. Her eyes narrowed, and with determination, she headed towards the enigmatic girl. She found her quickly, helping a student who had dropped their lunch tray. So she’s kindhearted…the do-gooder type. Valentina thought to herself, taking mental notes. She waited a moment before her hand rested on the girl’s shoulder. When the girl turned around, Valentina felt a spark. She had a sixth sense she couldn’t switch off-even if she wanted to. Except, uniquely, she felt it too. This girl was really pretty. She had to control herself, inhale and relax. She needed to be as helpful as possible. In addition, with the dropped lunch tray and spilled food, a small crowd had gathered. This was her chance to gain a bit more of a following, no?
The girl’s remorseful smile said it all. Valentina was absolutely right-she loved that-this girl wanted a ticket. Even further, she wanted couple’s tickets like the partners she had watched earlier. But, you couldn’t buy a couple’s ticket without another person. And the girl in front of her didn’t have her person. ”Oh, no, I don’t think I’l be attending.” Her smile was completely faux. Which saddened Valentina, really. Being alone could be difficult. Especially when it seemed so many people around you weren’t. She kept a honey-drizzled smile on her face, she needed to make a positive impression and gain this girl’s trust. Luckily, from what she felt earlier, she might’ve already achieved the former. The girl ended her slightly panicked ramble with a question for Valentina-was she going to the dance?
“Oh, OF COURSE!!” Valentina bubbled. Her excited voice made her sound as if she were in a constant swoon. “I never miss a dance. No matter what.” Too much about herself? No, just enough. But it was time to hear more about this girl, who was still crouching next to her. “And neither should you! I’m sure a true friend would let you tag along…but it’s only the first day, there’s plenty of time to find a proper date, don’t you think?” She bit her lip, raising a suggestive brow.
