Aithne quietly shook her head when Sora apologized. “I should be the one apologizing. I scared you and singed your book. I’m glad your book’s not singed to badly. Guess both of us got scared.” She said. “I’ll be back. Going to get food. I just wanted to get a spot to set my things down.” She stood up, returning about ten minutes later with food, sitting back down.

I realised from his answer that he probably doesn’t remeber what happened earlier today, probably for the best otherwise he’d think something was off. Funny I’ve never used my powers on a person who dislikes me so I never knew about this side effect. Since he didn’t know I decided not to ask him again, I fear that way I might be wasting my time. I laughed “Of course I’m messig with you, that never happened, silly.” I moved on and reacted to his dare “This dare sounds more like a fancy truth but all right.” I looked at him and wondered if the amnesia would work both ways and being afraid ti might not, I decided to be careful and be vague about my history. "When a handsome soldier with a special gift and a woman bethroted to another man get together, out of their union comes a set of twins, one who is already a good soldier and one training to be one. What nobody knows is that one of them has a gift, a gift not even the parents have noticed before she went away to discover more about her gift in a special high school. What is going to happen to Aoife in this new enviorment, completely alone? Find out in a new installment of … " I chuckled “Is this what you meant? This isn’t fair you know, I asked you about your parents and I had to tell you more about mine than I ever learned about yours. But if you don’t want to talk about it, I’m fine with it … I also don’t like my parents.” I said, this was the truth, but I also used this truth to get him to talk about his parents … What is he hiding? This is getting so infuriating I wish I could find out and stop pretending I like this schmuck, but for now I can still endure it.

The mysterious stranger looked rather unbothered, what a shame. “Of course, I always keep an eye on my foes.” Wei Ming straightened up dramatically. “Oh, goody! Are we doing an enemy to lover’s trope? I don’t mind.” He said, batting his eye several times. Wei Ming cringed at being called ‘child’, and corrected Mr Slim Shady hair. “I am older than you, how old are you 10? And we you say…” Wei rolled his eyes. "No, I’m twelve. he sarcastically replied. He watched Mr Slim Shady Hair eyebrow raise, what an emotional response! Especially from you! " ‘we’ as in, you and me." Wei said rather casually.
“And they are two you’s, the fake one and this one." Wei Ming folded his arms to listen. “Your real one, the one who you show your true colors. So yes, there is a real you, there is a real everybody." Wei shook his head. “Other than your family, assuming you have one, have you ever really acted exactly the same? You don’t have to answer, I know most people don’t like admitting there wrong.” Wei Ming leaned in for the last part. “Anywho, didn’t you just tell me you liked people who aren’t always fake? Who knows if I’m not acting to get you to like me? I sure don’t.” Wei said, weaving slight slits of truth in.
"Speak then.” Wei grinned cheekily as Mr Slim Shady Hair continued there eye contact. "Speak your fear.” Wei Ming wasn’t going to let this opportunity pass, they’re was only one he could actually tell, so he was part of the fear, anyhow. “The dark.” he said simply. But oh no, there was much more to come. “The kind that grab me by my ribs, squeezing all the air out of me. My chest tightening, as my heart beats it’s way through being crushed. A cold sweat kind of dark, where you can’t tell left from right, up from down. Your head spinning, the dark corrupting your eyes, to twist to fears you never know you had.” And of course, him, dear old dada, coming every night terrorize.
Wei Ming was very lightly saddened by the change of topic. “Creatures like me have wings and power.” Wei slouch slightly coming up with a stupid question, “So, would let me see your wings?” Wei asked, hoping that knowing more about his mysterious stranger, could come in handy one day to come.
“I will never fall, because I keep flying.” Wei had a witty comment in line, as a fluid motion struck Infront of his eyes. He hadn’t even noticed what happened until he looked down, looking up very with an uncommon angst look in his eyes. Well sh•t, this is going to hurt later. Wei Ming knew if he wasn’t in pain now, it was definitely coming. “I will be awaiting.” He -quite obviously for his standards- flash the strained smile. “Hey, I should’ve expected it. Enemies to lover’s am I right?” he asked, teasing.
Wei Ming thought this was honestly going quite well -other then the fact that the lad hated him- but relatively well. But the next thing he knew, a hot fist was against his perfect face. “Watch how you speak to your superiors” Wei Ming didn’t move. F•ck, look who got them self stuck in a glass palace. Wei Ming could have sworn there was some kind of heat radiating off Mr Slim Shady Hair’s fists. Wei was tempted to joke about a rough kink, or enemies to lovers trope, but didn’t exactly think he could use a broken face to get to people to feel bad for him, but now that I think about it, I can totally use this stab wound to my advantage. Wei Ming slowly inhaled. " Okay, I see why it might have come to violence, but I’m sure it’s nothing we can’t fix between us." Wei Ming said, calmly. He knew this was gonna end in him scramming, or him scramming with a broken face. Wei kept a calm, relaxed -even neutral- expression. He was glad Mr Slim Shady hair was taller, making him seem like less of a threat. “What do you say, Darl-” Wei Ming knew he messed up, as ‘Darling’ nearly escaped his mouth.

“Oh, don’t worry about that, sweetie, if anything, I was the one in the wrong here. Who just goes around pointing fingers like that?” Ariadne felt some panic disperse, though there still was a slight weight, for she had to lied. “I do apologize for that, and hope I didn’t make this… Awkward or anything.” She said, gesturing to the full extent of the room. Ariadne smiled, “Oh, it’s okay.” she noticed her pitch was still a little high for normal conversation, darting her eyes anywhere from this situation. “Well, I’m sure you’ve noticed all the cute guys around here, there’s plenty for you to pick from!” Ari’s stomach dropped, as Valentina cheerfully spread her arms wide. Excuse me? She asked herself. “… Right? There’s so many cute guys here, I’m sure someone has caught your eye.” Ariadne opened her mouth to respond but promptly closed it as nothing came out. “Perhaps even someone nearby?” Ariadne scanned the people near her. “Umm, yeah, actually.” Ari said, letting her mouth move faster than her eyes. She quickly decided she was taking too long, and pointed a finger out randomly. But no one in particular understanding, so she quickly rearranged it to a boy… “Him.” she confirmed, mostly for herself though.
His complexion was an ochre tint, similar to the mellow-brown light that flooded Sherwood’s forest. With a springy flowering head of hair sat.

. “You just shoot people and all.” Emeka gave him a look of confused, “Didn’t you say you hated killing?” or did he just hate killing when it was to revenge the victim, Emeka gave him a weird look- hopefully his new friend wasn’t like that.
They turned their device in the direction of Emeka, it showed different technological devices attached to it . “Computer.” Emeka nodded, “Laptop.” Anang showed him another picture. “Oh so the computer is attached to something while the laptop isn’t?” he asked curiously.
“That sounds fun!” Emeka smiled nodding, “It is! One of my favorite games”

Back of the school / Sonny
Autumn muttered to herself, again brushing her hair out of her face as she quickly walked to the nurse’s office. Before she could get there she heard Sonny call her name, Autumn hesitated a moment before turning around. She couldn’t face the person she’d hurt, so Autumn looked down and bit her lip not wanting to say anything and just wait for the inevitable yelling that would ensue. Instead the girl spoke in a soft tone and used descriptive imagery like something she’d read in a book, to describe her pie. She was stunned, nobody had ever talked to her like that, so kind and…genuine especially talking like how one would read a book. However, she could still just be saying these things, Autumn parted her lips a bit about to say something-suddenly something happened, something Autumn had never experienced before. Sonny had gently kissed her lips, her lips were soft and the kiss was brief. As brief as it was though, while they kissed the wind picked up as if in response to the sudden display of affection, swirling the fall leaves around them during which, every single lemon, orange, lime and every other citrus fruit on every single tree dropped to the ground. Sonny then pulled away just as quickly and gently as kissed then cursed and asked if it was ok that she kissed her.
Autumn blushed hard, moving her hair out of her face to behind her ear. “I-um-I. Can I have just one second?” It was a little overwhelming so she needed a safe place to think, her safe place. Before waiting for an answer Autumn ran to the nearest citrus tree, avoiding all the fallen fruit and sunk into her sweater, pulling her arms in and making sure the neck hole was over her head. My first kiss! But it was with a girl! What would Dad think? What would my siblings-I mean cousins-I mean ugh the point is what would they think? Colden would probably be furious with me before giving me his signature cold shoulder and Theorous might laugh at me, Bryony might be the only one who could be happy for me. Wait, happy for me, that’s a good question. It’s like in my books, that one scene where something like this happens but the main character is too focused on what others in their lives might think but they rarely think about or consider how they actually feel or how the other party feels. Autumn peeked through the soft fibers as best she could although she barely got a glimpse of the girl, Look, I know I just met her today but let’s at least consider going out with her, right, I mean she clearly likes me and I don’t want to hurt her by saying no. So who is Sonny? Autumn peeked through the soft fibers again, getting another glimpse of the girl. Well, um-Sonny seems happy, full of life, colorful, a little competitive, supportive, and… Autumn looked through the fibers once more, thinking about her cooking and Sonny’s review. …honest. From my first impressions, that’s all I know about her but she seems like a good person, after all that’s what matters, right? Not whether the person I go out with is a guy or even a girl, but a good person. Autumn took a breath and peaked out from the neck hole of her sweater before popping out and slowly approaching the girl. “So, um I thought about a lot and I mostly thought about you.” She didn’t need to know that dang it! “Anyway, um, I’ve never-I’ve never thought about a girl in that way and you’ve clearly shown me how you feel and I don’t want to hurt you, I don’t want to hurt anyone.” Knowing how she might react to where this is going, Autumn continued, attempting to cut off any word Sonny could’ve gotten in. “So, that being said, I-um, I’d be willing to see how this goes, if you are.” Autumn could feel herself blushing hard again, now that it’s been said out loud. "Right, um-I should probably fix what I did. It could take a bit but if you wanted to join me, you can. Autumn turned around and gently began to use her powers on the tree and after a few minutes the tree was full of fruit again as it was before she made them all fall.
@ethereal ~ Sonny - I really hope you like it!
If not, I can always fix it!
“I wasn’t planning on doing anything for your favor.” Grégorie told him, looking unamused. “But I am willing to sacrifice a sheep as long as you stop winking.” His face changed to an exaggerated pleading one which made him even more adorable to Garçon. A huff escaped Garçon’s nostrils as he chuckled- “You’d do that for me? Aww.” He gushed sarcastically, making goo-goo eyes and batting his eyelashes. “You’re much too generous.” He did not add a wink after he said this, despite the twitching urge in his eye to. At last, he let out a tiny sigh, playful expression leaving his face. “Does the wink bother you that much that you’d take the life of an innocent animal? What about it irritates you? Are you one of those people that can’t wink and can only blink?” He joked, blinking both of his eyes mockingly.
“If you prefer the nickname narcisso to l’idiote, then, of course, I can call you that, a-guy-who-went-to-all-honors-classes.” Grégorie offered sarcastically, with another roll of his eyes. Garçon sighed again. “I think I’d rather be called your beau or mon amour,” Garçon flirted poutingly. “Besides, as we get to know each other, I’m sure you’ll find I’m incredibly humble.” A smile crept onto his chiseled face. He was bold-what he had said was basically ‘call me handsome or boyfriend’. He was sure Grégorie would think him ridiculous and shove the idea away like it was a plate of slimy green frog legs. He would see this as another one of Garçon’s playerish antics, he’d see this as an attempt at a charming joke-he obviously hated those. What he wouldn’t see was the genuineness behind large brown eyes, framed by even darker lashes. Not about the humble part, Garçon was aware of his slightly swollen ego (okay, maybe not so much). But about what he wanted to be called by Grégorie. “You know what, actually, a-guy-who-went-to-all-honors-classes is growing on me.” Garçon said after that long pause, feeling a bit of flighty nervousness in his heart, skin tingling as he grinned.
Grégorie liked to be alone, he didn’t like to stand out. This was an impression Garçon had of him, one he was certain was completely correct. And to others, the boy in the darkest corner, head bowed as he listened to music and chewed on pasta, might not stand out indeed. But to Garçon, this handsome, intriguing boy made everyone in the castleteria dull. He hadn’t even turned his head to observe anyone else, to look for his friends, this entire time. He wondered why Grégorie was so closed off. He was incredible to look at, plus he was great conversation (even though he’d crushed Garçon’s soul a teeny bit). Honestly, he seemed like someone who would get along well with Garçon and his clique. Was he shy? Scared? Or did he have bad experiences? Garçon resolved that not only would this boy be just as head over heels for him, he would also have more friends by the end of the school year. Friends were the best-surrounding yourself with good people was so important. He would be Grégorie’s first “good person”, and he’d introduce him to Dae, Alawa, and Eun, too. He began to smile wider, thinking of a world where he could hang out with his crush and friends all the time.
His eyes became like that of a deer in headlights, as he stared at Garçon, shocked. Garcon smirked, deep dimples appearing in the sides of his stubbled face as he awaited the answer. Eventually, the shock faded, though the fact that he’d managed to catch Grégorie off-guard remained in his head like a trophy. He nodded slowly, looking like he was considering Garçon’s offer. Which excited him, though he kept his signature smirk, heart beating faster with every slow nod. “I think I may be contacting you next week about this.” Next week?! Could he really wait that long to feel this boy’s lips on his?! “Though I wouldn’t count on it.” Eyebrows raised, smirk stretched wider.
"“My desk will probably be very dusty after a week and could use some nice cleaning. Perhaps your silken lips will be suitable for wiping as befits a real handkerchief.” His finger met his chin as the smug look disappeared in the blink of an eye. His smile turned into a frown, lips slightly open to demonstrate his surprise. Cheerful eyes became wide ones, dimples vanished like they didn’t exist in the first place. He looked not only completely caught-off-guard, but completely disappointed. “Though that probably won’t be enough to get rid of the dust. Can your mouth also suck?” Garçon saw right through the look of innocence on his opponent’s face, and it drove him absolutely crazy. His mouth was open, but he didn’t even know how to make words come out.
As a satisfied Grégorie turned away, Garçon composed himself, red and humiliated. How could he have lost his cool in front of Grégorie like that? He smoothed his fingers through his hair, biting his lip as he tried to come up with something good to say, trying to regain his smug persona. Clearing his throat, he attempted to speak. “They most definitely can and do, though that’s not quite what I had in mind for them,” Garçon began, grumbling the end. His eyes flicked up, a hint of coral still in his cheeks. “Though I’m delighted to hear you’re thinking about my lips, and the other places they could go…I have to admit, that wasn’t my first thought.” His eyes flicked downwards as he spoke the emphasized word. Surprisingly. He leaned in closer, though maybe Grégorie was used to that by now. “And what about you? What can your mouth do?” He said in a low, curious voice.
He munched on some pizza until Grégorie spoke again, grasping his attention. “Listen, I am sorry, but I’d like to get out of here as soon as possible, and it’s not appropriate for me to leave you alone at the table.” His brows raised, and he looked genuinely concerned. This didn’t stop him from being playful, though. “So considerate, mon ami. But why the rush? Classes are ways away. Do you have somewhere to be? … A date, perhaps?” He said the last words with careful charm, secretly wondering if Grégorie did have a boyfriend-or girlfriend. Sh-t, what if he wasn’t into guys at all?! That would kinda throw a wrench in the whole thing. Even though he spoke like it was all a joke, he really was wondering if Grégorie was taken. He was really standoffish-perhaps loyal to a partner who couldn’t possibly be better than Garçon . Why was he so nervous this time around?
@sunflower.flow - grégorie : def not as smooth rip ik this isn’t amazing but i feel like there are some okay moments hehe~ enjoy!! AND WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT IF THIS ISNT YOUR A GAME WHAT AM I?!?!?!?! ALSO YES BUT HIS RESPONSE TO THE LIPS PART IS KILLER LIKE OMG WE LOVE IT
Rylan inhaled sharply as Asa scooted closer, adorably friendly smile on his face. For some reason, him doing that made Rylan’s chest feel extra tight. He had a very…interesting expression on his face as his brain tried to figure out whether he should be smiling or scowling. “It’s really nice to meet you, too.” Rylan usually hated perky people like this, but Asa seemed really hard to despise. He wasn’t the kind of friendly that considered himself superior because his life was going great, who looked down on others. Or was he? Rylan had a judgmental and unsure look on his face. He didn’t want to have to deal with one of those. For some reason, Shelldon gulped and fear flashed in his eyes at the word math. A reason Rylan wouldn’t know, because Shelldon had kept it a secret from him. “Oh, you have a brother too? Cute. Hope you find him. What’s his name?” Shelldon commented. Rylan rolled his eyes-he’d been glued to Shelldon since forever now, he couldn’t imagine what it was like to NOT have your brother next to you at all times. Both boys couldn’t resist smiling. “You could say that again,” Shelldon responded, also rolling his eyes. “No problem. You seem cool, Asa.” Rylan only nodded at this as he ate, though his eyes weren’t on his plate, but on Asa’s fingers swiping across the table in strange motions. “Oops.” “What are you doing?” Shelldon asked, sounding a bit too judgey, confused as to why Asa said ‘oops’.
@bpalmer -asa : too cute!!!
“Your sister?” Peckerhead echoed, sounding a bit more upbeat, which fueled Cara’s excitement. She just wanted to squeal, but she was in class, so she just kept the same smile instead. “Your mother never told you?” Peckerhead asked. Cara frowned slightly at the mention of Cruella, and then shook her head. “No. But it’s not like she tells me anything anyways.” Then came questions. Lots of questions. “But how did you find out? Where did you both live? Why didn’t she tell you? What happened to you mom? And your dad? Do you both still see them? Is that why you two came to this school, to find your sister? Do you have any more sisters? Or brothers?" Cara grinned, happy for the opportunity to share her findings with her friend. She asked a lot of questions when she was excited, too. Was Peckerhead excited for her, too? She looked a bit sad still, so Cara tried to be as cheery as possible. “Well, she has the same hair as me. And when I complimented her hair, one thing led to another. She found out Cruella was my mom, and told me Cruella was her mom too. We look really alike, and it all added up.” Cara explained, gesturing to her two-toned hair. “Well, we both lived in America, but different states. We kinda have nothing in common besides our moms, but it’s cool. My Mom doesn’t really tell me anything. We don’t talk. I don’t talk to my Dad either, he left when I was born, and I don’t even know his name.” Cara explained, surprisingly chipper-sounding for a girl saying those words. “I came to this school because I wanted to make new friends and get into the fashion program. Homeschooling wasn’t really doing it for me. As far as I know, Jayden is my only sibling, but who knows at this point.” She rolled her eyes, but smiled. “I wish you could be my sister.” Cara was taken back by how sweet that was. “That would be cool. But my closest friends are like sisters to me. I promise.”
…
Cara shoved her supplies back into her bag, adjusting her ponytail, held by a spiky black hair elastic. The teachers had already given so much homework, it was ridiculous!! It was going to take her forever-would she even have time to visit the mall today? “I want to try some food. I got told the cafeteria is really good and was wanting you to join me in trying it…if you want to?” Peckerhead seemed to be feeling plenty better, smiling earnestly at Cara. Cara nodded, “Of course! C’mon, let’s get a good spot in line.” The castleteria was packed, but Cara guided them to an okay position in line. “I’m so freaking hungry, I could eat anything.” She said, examining the menu to see what was being served for lunch. Before she could gush to Peckerhead about how good the pasta was, something caught her eye-a flash of bright white. A girl stood only a few people away, waiting in line, holding her tray. Her skin was so white, the gloves almost seemed to be a leathery part of her skin. Her hair shone under the castleteria lights, everything about her was stunning, yet cold. But the main thing Cara was paying attention to was her immaculate outfit. Particularly the white gloves. Which were Cara’s gloves. She’d made them. She recognized the fabric, the stitching, the tiny logo on the pinky finger. She’d only made one perfect copy. And this girl had stolen it. “Oh my gosh…” She murmured, shocked and gaping at the girl. Snapping out of it a few seconds later, she turned, panicked, to Peckerhead, pinching the end of her marroon sleeve, and pulling her forwards. “Excuse me. Pardon moi.” She said, passing a few people in line to reach the girl. Some of them groaned, but most just shuffled away submissively. Cara reached her target, tapping her on the shoulder determinedly. “Cara De Vil. Cute gloves!! Wherever did you find them?”

Bay’s competitive side really came out as she jogged over to the boy, and then grabbed onto the table to skid to a stop right in front of him. She could hear Ariadne trying to catch up-whoops. Was this even a race? Before she could look over her shoulder for her best (?) friend, the boy spoke to her, curious as to who she was. “Hiiiii?” She grinned, waving at him. “Hiya, tree-boy, er, Elliot!” She blabbed, before he could actually say his name and nickname. After he did so, she answered, “Oh, okay! I’ll call you Ell, I guess,” disappointed that tree-boy was not an option. “I’m Bay, by the way!! It’s so nice to meet you? You can call me whatever. I really like nicknames, but my name is kinda too short for one, right?” Speaking of short, this guy was WAYYYY taller than her! She had to hurt her neck to look up at him. He wasn’t ugly, though, he had a nice face and did look like Ariadne. Speaking of Ariadne, where was she?! She had to bite her lip really hard not to spoil the surprise she was so excited for.
@eunoia - elliot + ariadne : no worries with the godmodding, it’s what i picture too!! so excited to interact with elliot again hehe
*“You can visit me at anytime.”*Alec promised, making Camilla swoon. She wondered what other things the castle had in store-and if it was magical. Then, she paused, looking a bit confused and cross-eyed. “Wait…isn’t it underwater though? Not that that’s bad!! It’s really, really cool!! Much better than a regular castle above water.” “Then so be it.” He smiled at her, and she smiled back, blushing. But all smiles disappeared as Alec fell back, hitting his head on a chair. “Alec!!!” She cried, cradling his head, and trying to settle it onto her thighs (which he said were soft so maybe that would help) “I’m so sorry!!! Are you okay?! Does your head hurt?” Her eyes felt a bit teary as she blinked, looking down worriedly at him.
Was this a contest? He spoke back the word lovely, and a competitive smile formed on her lips. “Beautiful.” She took a random slice of pizza and mimicked him, taking a bite. She kept her hesitant eyes on the boy in front of her, admiring his jawline and shiny, thick, black hair. He swallowed, sighing, cloudiness in his eyes. This made Camilla frown, she didn’t like to see people, especially people she cared about, sad. “Eundr.” He said out loud, as if her mind had willed him to speak the reason he had sighed so sorrowfully. “Who’s Eundr? Or what’s Eundr? Are you alright, Alec?” Camilla asked, scooting closer to him, eyes shimmering curiously.
He nodded, “Of course. If you want me to buy you anything else, just ca-wait, you don’t have my number do you.” He wrote his number on a of paper, and handed it to the smiling girl. “Call me.” He winked and she blushed. “You can count on it!” She promised, carefully putting the slip of paper in a special pocket inside her purse. She didn’t have a lot of contacts in her phone, so she was pretty thrilled about this. “No, no, it’s okay.” Alec said, but Camilla just imitated his smirk again, hand resting on his knee. “What if I told you I’d make it up to you in other ways than money?” She hinted, sounding innocent. He looked amused, propping her chin up with three fingers. She took a breath, and then gave him puppy-dog eyes, watery and all. After a couple moments, she went back to normal, smiling casually. “Works every time. I mean, he loves me, and it’s hard to resist.”
“All the candies and cake you want.” He swore, and it took everything in her not to squeal loudly again. Instead, her excitement showed in every part of her, wide, sparkly eyes, huge, toothy smile, and light bouncing up and down in her body. He kissed the back of her hand, “How about both?” “Works for me!” He released her hand to adjust his jacket, and she fixed her headband. “So, do you have a favorite song?” She thought for a second, “Ugh, I have wayyyyy too many favorites to just pick one!!! ‘Live While We’re Young’ is one of them, I really like One Direction. What about you?” You could tell a lot about a person by their music taste, and someone as cool as Alec couldn’t have bad music taste.
@Kristi - alec : omgggg i’m so curious about eundr!!! great post!!
Her dark eyes narrowed as she sized him up-he was already making a bad impression on her. This frustrated Ace, but he attempted to fix things with a friendly (and slightly smug) smile, raising his eyebrows up and down at her. But she said nothing, just got up and walked to another seat at the same table. She sat down. “It is infinitely more favorable than sitting with an absolute sleazebag.” Ace’s mouth dropped open, and he was already on his way to take the seat across from her. “Hey! I’m not a sleazebag!” He protested as he sat down. Whoops, he had been a bit aggressive there. He regained his casual smile, taking in a deep breath. “I’m Ace LaBouff. You’re really stunning, I just had to come and introduce myself, that’s all.”

“Thanks, that means a lot.” Hilda smiled, and Eun smiled gently at them. “Don’t you remember what we talked about? Don’t thank me for having basic decency,” She reminded them, in a kind way, not in a rude one. In a way, she was trying to tease Hilda, though she spoke so gently, it might not sound so playful. She looked slightly embarassed, but then nodded, “Yes, I admit, I do have some questions. I am very interested in other species, and do not know much about Huldras,” she admitted, as she pushed open the front door for Hilda. “It is much appreciated. And I was born ready! After you.” Eun answered, planning to ask her multiple questions on the way.

“Heh, right. I guess I forget that.” They said, laughing. “Thanks!” They said as Eun held the door open. “Um…do you know where we’re going? Because if you don’t, we’re doomed.” They half joked, looking at her with a semi serious expression. They wondered what they’d find about the geese.

After the whole class thing has ended, for a while, it is now time to head off to the one of her most favorite subjects: Lunch. Well, technically, Cotton’s snowy body is not necessarily needing for consumption of meals yet eating feels quite nice to experience. Mostly preferring solids than liquids due to her mass containing snow, she takes a tray to go through the line and looks wondrously at the menu that they were having. Cold meals, hot meals, spicy meals, oh my! Such variety could overwhelm a person. Alas, waiting in line meant a lengthy decision making yet became tiring after Cotton had set in a course of action to her desired meal which were these cold pesto pastas she had been craving for a while. Though as time passes, it seems as if those few minutes contained hours and could already feel the heat as she stood within living breathing heating humans.
Whilst innocently waiting within the line, she heard a commotion from behind. Some scoffed, footsteps were heard, and a faint voice of excusing was heard from what was behind her. In this school, she had expected chaos due to the dramas and tribulations she had heard yet wouldn’t even expect it to be this early. Unseeingly bothered, she continued on to look into the direction and would turn hostile when needed. As the voice became clear and became familiar, she calmed down as she looked down on her tray and put on a show. With a tap on her shoulder, she confidently stride from the side but only to discover it was Cara. A faint shock in her face, she gasped as her voiced pitched a little higher than usual, “Cara! Oh my, didn’t expect you to see me this early. You almost gave me a shock, I could’ve melted right here on the spot.”
Of course, she knew she would be discovered sooner or later with the gloves she has worn. Cover partially on her mouth cam a small giggle as she playfully nudged Cara’s shoulder, “Well… heh, you know I work in patterns when it comes to my daily looks. I wanted to feel, haute couture a la Dior! Models striding in the covers of 50s Vogue like Dovima and Jean Patchett. I was simply… borrowing, if we can be straight to the point. I found it in the drawers and thought it’d fit in my daily look. C’mon, you borrowed some of my clothing then,” pausing to think of some way to give back her borrowing, “Say, you can borrow some of my articles of clothing if you want. Name the item, I got it all! Well, little color choices but either way. What do you say?” Cotton’s brows curled like waves as she held her one hand on Cara’s hand to lighten up a bit.
Looking from the side, as noticing the short chaos Cara had made from her borrowed gloves Cotton gave Cara a look of curiosity as she studied the people who may look familiar or simply look as if they followed, “Girl, did you bring a friend? I see you brought a friend, I think. I would love to see if you found fresh new minds to let me teach them the world of fashion and the artistic opening it can do. I haven’t brought anyone, but I can safely assure that I may have my first muse to put my efforts in my dreams of becoming the next Edith Head!” As Cotton looked forward, it seemed as if the line went quicker than usual as she was the next one to serve in line. And a few people were bothered, rightfully. And with a nod on her head, she awkwardly laughs and ordered her meal. Now, it is time to find a seat in the sea of lunchgoers. Cotton wipes out of relief as the temperature of the room felt a little colder after the line.

Autum’s lip pinched by her teeth, eyes glued to the ground…she looked so worried Sonny was going to completely lose it, that they were mad. Sonny was a chill person, never the type to overreact or even raise their voice out of anger. And this was Autumn. Sweet, adorable, loving, Autumn. Sonny never wanted to do anything to hurt her. They couldn’t imagine hating her. As their lips pressed together, winds picked up, letting Sonny’s coils brush against their red face, pushing the two closer together, as if it had a mind of it’s own. Leaves swirled around them, small orange ones tangling in Sonny’s bun, tickling their legs. Golden strands begun to creep their way into Sonny’s hair, weaving through dark curls. The same color as Autumn’s, the same color Sonny was feeling right now. There was a hundred thumps as the fruits hanging from the trees around them loosened, falling to the leafy ground. Which was enough to break the magical trance.
Autumn moved her hair out of her face, showing how red it was. She looked like a grapefruit. She began to stammer, and though Sonny was still processing what had just happened, they were stammering lightly, too. “Cam I just have one second?” “O-of course!! All the time you need!” But Autumn had already scampered off into the branches of the nearest tree. Sonny shook their head. Stupid, stupid! How could they have done that?! That was so unlike them in every way. If Autumn snuck off and never talked to them again, they wouldn’t blame her. The thing was, Autumn was too angelic to do that. She’d at least let them down gently. She really was too good for them, which made Sonny feel even more foolish as they shifted their weight, staring at a leaf on the ground.
A couple moments later, a lime rolled into view. Neon green. The color, though fresh and nice on their eyes, seemed to be a frantic and anxious color. Sour. They picked up the lime, then a lemon, than an orange. The ground was completely covered with fruit!!! How were they going to clean all this up? They grasped another lime-Does Autumn know how to make key lime pie? Lemon meringue? They glanced up at the tree, then looked away, still thinking of Autumn in this moment. The kiss had been magical. Most definitely not their first, but they liked it more than any kiss with Lucas. It was a thousand times more romantic, with a girl a thousand times better than him in every way. But if it meant ruining their friendship with someone so awesome…was it worth it? Their arms were full by now, and they knew the answer. Of course they’d rather preserve their friendship with Autumn than lose it.
They met her eyes as she approached them, peeking out from her sweater. “So, um, I thought about it a lot and I mostly thought about you.” Sonny blushed, even though this was reasonable, and probably didn’t mean anything. They wanted to move, but they were holding too much fruit. “Anyway, um, I’ve never-I’ve never thought about a girl in that way-” Sonny cringed-had they just kissed a straight girl?! No wonder she looked so uncomfortable… I don’t want to hurt you. Sonny exhaled-this sounded like a rejection, huh? Everything they had pictured was coming true, and their heart sank, even though, they of course, acknowledged Autumn’s right to reject them. She was being as kind as possible. They tried to keep a casual and understanding smile, but it faltered.
“So, that being said, I-um, I’d be willing to see how this goes if you are.” Her cheeks were red-was she embarrassed or did she feel the same way? Sonny’s eyes lit back up, and their smile became genuine. “Er… Right. It’s been a long time since I’ve ‘seen how things go’. And my last relationship…” They grimaced. “It kinda didn’t go so well. So, I’ve been really scared. Of, like, ‘seeing how things go’.” Their arms kinda hurt. “But, Autumn, you’re amazing. I know you’d never want me to hurt, and you’d never want to hurt anyone at all. I really, really, want to see where things go with you, Autumn, I really like you. And if you promise you’re not just trying to avoid hurting my feelings…” They smiled gently at her, to show this had no malice behind it. “Then I think we should give it a shot.” Their cheeks were really red now, rivaling hers. Still, the were able to maintain eye contact, they were genuine. They were still a bit scared for the answer, but hopeful too. That things could work.
“I should probably fix what I did…if you wanted to join me, you can.” Sonny grinned a bit, looking down at their small collection. “Already got us started,” they said cheerfully. But they soon realized this girl had a much better, much more fast method. They could only watch in awe as fruits sprung from the trees. It was almost as if Autumn sent them back in time. “You truly are amazing,” Sonny mused from about a yard away. “How did you do that??” They sounded very impressed.
@bluecookies - autumn : OMGOMGOMGOMGMG IM SO ANXIOUS RN HAHAHA HOPE YOU LIKE
She smiled, saying it was okay, to Valentina’s relief. Not because Valentina truly thought she was in the wrong and needed to be forgiven, but because this meant she hadn’t lost a potential client (which was a synonym for friend in Valentina’s book). She grinned gratefully, masking the suspicion and intrigue at the girl’s tone-just a pitch too high to be honesty. The girl opened and closed her mouth like a fish, searching for a response she didn’t have. Valentina just beamed expectantly, like nothing was wrong, waiting for the answer, eyes flicking left and right occasionally to look for her male options. “Umm, yeah, actually…” She blurted, hand flying out at random, pointing at nothing. Valentina glanced over at her finger, then raised an eyebrow. The finger was quickly pointed to a curly-haired boy who wasn’t too far from the two. “Him.” Valentina nodded. “Him.” she repeated to herself, not believing this girl one bit. “He’s such a cutie! I definitely understand why you’d want to go for him,” Valentina gushed to her, grabbing her hands, and speaking to her as if they were two friends talking adorably about the crush they both shared. She sent a few pink sparkly hearts flying in his direction to boop him on the nose and get his attention. When he turned, she wiggled her fingers at him, then beckoned him over with one hand. “Hey! Could we talk with you for a moment, love?” As he approached, she turned to her victim acquaintance.“Oh my stars, I’m so sorry!!! Did I even catch your name?”

Tatum snuck from her brother, finally. She had to listen to him talk about classes or whatever he was actually talking about for at least ten minutes. What a bore. She started for the line, as it was mostly clear as they spent time sitting outside talking to Dawn. Tatum didn’t mind one bit, she loved learning new things about new people. Tatum ordered, balancing various foods trying to get outside to have a picnic. She nearly ran into Tate several times, but her expertise in avoiding him came in handy.
Tatum finally got outside, nearly dropping something, she didn’t know what cuz she forgot what most of she got. Taking a deep fresh breath, she found a nice sunny spot for her to place her food, then went through some. Deciding to start on a fruit salad.
Approachable!

They laughed, and Eun laughed lightly with them. “No problem,” Eun said, following and letting the door ease shut behind them. “Um…do you know where we’re going? Because if you don’t, we’re doomed.” Hilda looked like they were both cracking (wow, egg puns) a joke, and being dead serious. Eun looked nervous, “Kinda. I was thinking we could check out the farmer’s market in the town.” She admitted. “Maybe we can find some eggs-or some clues-there.”
@ouijaloveletters - hilda : i swear imma look at new character now!!!
Hilda nodded, shrugging when Eun said she wanted to crack out the farmers market. “Sure, that’s fine. Maybe I can find some things for myself too. Just because it’s a farmer’s market doesn’t mean it doesn’t have crafts or something.” They said. “Lead the way.”
