Kurt examined their reaction, fear, adrenaline. Some mix of both, Kurt assumed. They had stared at him for quite a while before answering, making Kurt think they were deciding whether to run or not. They confirmed that they were a student and made the correct deduction that Kurt was one as well. After thinking through what he knew, Kurt determined something likely spooked them into the woods. “What happened to make you retreat into the woods, then? Also, your assumption is correct. The name’s Kurt,” he stated, pausing as he examined the trail once more, wondering if he could backtrace it to where they started.

I do fear Your Darkness a bit because he’s very mysterious and scary, but the way he looks is … homey. So that’s why it’s more efficient for me to picture my mother, than a potato, you see? This was yet another class with my brother, and by this point I’m sure he’s sick of my face. At lunch he didn’t join me so I was left to either sit alone or make a friend or two … Yes he’s definately sick of my face … Which is even worse considering I need to tell him something and he’s most likely sick of me talking to him during class as well if not even more than my face.
