Aodghan asked why Death would have a child if he wasn’t fit, and Dieter shrugged. “Blame my mom for that. Eh. I’m here, and he can’t do crap about it. No, he wouldn’t kill me…I think. Who the f*ck knows.” He said. He shook his head when Aodghan asked if he was tricked. “No, but I’m guessing your dad or mom was? Seems it happened to you.” Dieter shrugged when he heard what Aodghan thought. “A lot of people don’t become hero’s, though. I thought you’d say people truly died when they’re forgotten, which does make sense.”

Rory had been watching Kellan when he reacted-and looked even more embarassed. Kellan smiled at him-trying not to let him feel too bad-he didn’t mind he was just startled. He noticed Rory had an eye color similar to his-a bit darker, maybe? Dang, he’s fine. “What is your pet pig like? I mean, I’ve never met someone who had a pig as a pet.” Rory inquired curiously. Kellan grinned-“Well, I should say he’s actually the son of the third little pig. So he was invited here. But he lives with me, and he’s really smart. He also acts like me…” Kellan laughed-Hammy definitely looked up to him, and often copied his mannerisms. “What about your cat, what’s she like?” He asked, wanting to know more about Rory’s pet as well. As he studied Rory, he realized he was probably-no definitely-developing some sort of crush… He fell for people fast, but was usually crushed when they rejected him. He didn’t want to think about how he would feel if Rory only wanted to be friends-though of course he would accept. “Oh, come on, you really think I would be insta-famous? I guess that just sounds crazy to me.” Kellan smiled-“Anything’s possible if you work really hard.” And if you’re unbelievably hot. He added mentally. “Although some people only have their followers because of their parent,” He mused… yes, he could name a few of those people. “Everyone starts at zero followers anyways,” He pointed out. Rory laughed, admitting the uniform was the fanciest thing he’d ever worn. “Yeah, this is definitely pretty fancy,” Kellan agreed. “Although I’ve definitely worn fancier. And so will you,” he winked. He didn’t ever want to put Rory out of his comfort zone, so he’d have to make sure he found him a style he genuinely liked. “Noooo, don’t worry! We’ll find you some things! You’ll feel like the best version of yourself,” Kellan promised with a big smile. “What if I want to be the taller one?” Rory asked jokingly. Kellan smirked at him, “Then find a pair of heels.” He joked back. Gosh… I would totally wear flats for this man, though.

Isaiah listened to Laurie talk and started to feel bad for the boy. He quickly stopped thinking that as he didn’t want to pity him, it wasn’t exactly a sign of respect. “If it… If it makes you feel any better, my father is somewhat the same. I’m sure what he’s done isn’t nearly as bad, but my father isn’t exactly a hero, either.” Isaiah felt bad for even bringing up the question.
Isaiah put down his cup and hesitated, he didn’t want to push anything - especially after being so weird about being touched. He took a deep breath and placed his hand on Laurie’s back. “I never said that you were like him, and I’m sorry for bringing it up.”

|| With Dieter || in Room 162 ||

Once again Aodghan raised his eyebrow, “You would know your father better than anyone. I’m afraid you’re the only one that would know the answer. And… well, was your mother aware about the Death situation?” Aodghan didn’t say anything about the incessant swearing. The boy was cursing like a sailor.
He looked right into Dieter’s eyes, hoping that he remembered this, “Everyone has the chance to become a hero. It’s never too late or too early. Everyone has their own definition of a hero, some view it as being a father, others a good partner. So to you, someone might not be a hero, but to other’s they might be. Like, I, for example, am a hero to my people, but in your eyes I’m most likely some big idiot.” It was probably the most insightful advice he had ever given, or said for that matter.

Tristan scowled at her comment, saying, “Some people have the courtesy of saying where they’re from after being so kindly told by someone else where said person was from-wait, does that even make sense?” Porcelain shook her head, she did understand, but why admit it? Confusion mixed with her mean expression. “Whatever, the point is that it’s courteous to share where you’re from.” Porcelain rolled her eyes-why did he care? “I guess I’m not ‘some people’,” she said. “But I’m from nowhere.” She looked down a bit, avoiding his eyes. Where was she from? A place that meant nowhere to her. A place that meant sorrow, pain, hate. Besides, telling him would give away who her mother was. “Yeah…brother. He…he sucks. He’s a brat. We don’t talk about him.” Tristan said coldly. Porcelain shrugged, We? “Alright, alright, noted. No brother.” She said, trying not to pry more. She wanted to say something mean, but…didn’t feel like it? She couldn’t imagine hating her siblings like he did. They were the only people she loved.

He shrugged, reciting some weird saying. She shot him another confused look, but let him continue. "Point is that some girl’s are too gullible for their own good and need some bad boy for them to not make mistakes in the future.” What she got from that was he broke girl’s hearts so they wouldn’t get their hearts broken by someone else…? Well, that made no sense. “Wow. Very kind of you,” Porcelain remarked sarcastically. He scowled at her, although she changed his nickname. “Unlike some, I don’t hate my name.” He said, obviously talking about her. “Well, I hate your name.” Porcelain said, although there was more of a dismissive-joking vibe to her tone. “So I’m calling you ‘Strawberry.’ Unless you do want to be Blondie?” She raised a brow as she offered.

Aodghan asked if Dieter’s mom knew about Death, and he nodded. “I think…she died soon after I was born. I pretty much hate my father now. I…don’t like talking about it.” He said quietly, shoving his hands in his pockets. Dieter startled when Aodghan suddenly stared directly into his eyes, and he stared back, not blinking. Dieter smiled when Aodghan spoke about being a hero. “I’ll remember that. I couldn’t forget that if I tried, to be honest.” He knew his mom was his hero. She may have been gone, but he could technically see her. He’d be disobeying his father by summoning her spirit, but he didn’t care. He needed closure.

MEABH SÍDHE - LITERATURE

Meabh smiled, glad that she had omitted the part of the story where, weeks later, she had tied Neisha upside down in a tree for a month. Vengeance was a dish best served cold after all.
“[That’s exactly why I’m nervous. I know nothing. I believe we only fear death because there is no way of knowing what awaits us afterwards, so every person fears and try to avoid death as often as possible because of that fear. I’m nervous because a small fraction of the fear of death comes to me when I come across something so new, yet so life-changing and something I know nothing about. I suppose you wouldn’t understand. You seem better off when there’s something bigger to fear that of school.]”
Meabh nodded, pursing her lips. “[Yup, Neisha looks like an angel, but if your ever unfortunate enough to see her true form, you’ll realise she’d quite the opposite.]” Meabh wasn’t scared of her all the time. But she did get a bit worried when Neisha got in a bad mood. She was incredibly volatile, after all, and it was rare that Meabh had enough time to switch to her more permeable form before she was being pummeled.
With Aoife mentioning death, Meabh wondered whether they should mention that death will never be a factor for them. Probably best to save that for a later conversation, however.

CAMERON CANES - COVE

“I wonder what our lives would be like if we hadn’t met,”
“Hm…” Cameron mused. “Well, I would likely be languishing away in some dorm room, wondering why I’m back at this wretched school again. On top of that, I would be pining after a beauty that I would’ve only been able to sight in the corridors, never gaining the courage to ask her out.”
Grinning, Cameron gave Bay a sly wink. He was glad that this wasn’t the case, anyhow. Bay was amazing, and a life without her would be far darker than this one.
He laughed out loud as Bay made a show of punching the air. She was adorable. “They won’t stand a chance,” He said, chuckling, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.

Bay was excited at the sight of the fish, raising Cameron’s own excitement with it. It really was a big one; probably enough to make much more than two, or even four meals. He grinned as she took some of the fish’s weight at the head, and the pair tottered towads the kitchen.
“Oki doki,” Cameron said, quite a bit exhausted. “Let’s get this thing ready for cooking.”
He pulled a knife out of a holder on the counter, and began the messy business of gutting the fish.
It only took a minute or two at least, and he set the remains aside, before cutting the fish’s flesh into large fillets that could be cooked. He would’ve put on an apron, but his pajamas were already thoroughly ruined, so there was no real point in that.
Smiling in satisfaction, Cameron began preparing the fish to be grilled.

OLIVE MCCANN - GARDENS

“You’d think someone who claims to be so powerful would be less threatened by a “mere mortals” insult.”
Olive shook her head, chuckling. “It’s like calling a wolf a deer.” She said. “My typical prey is mortals; so excuse me if I don’t want to be mistaken for my next meal.” This was partly true, in that Olive hoped that one day Colm would give over and allow her to satisfy her hungers.
Her description of herself seemed to catch Calista’s attention. Does she doubt me?
“Funny, my mother’s a God. And I can assure you that she is very material. Even more so than you - seeing as you have barely any evidence of this fact. Except for that sad excuse of a tail you have.”
Olive raised her eyebrows. Was that a challenge or what?
“What, you want me to show you? I can flood the school if you want,” She said, laughing. Olive didn’t actually plan on flooding the school, not yet at least.
“Talking of evidence, you don’t have any either, as far as I could see. That little knuckle cracking show wasn’t exactly impressive.” This ‘daughter of a goddess’ person must be at best a half blood, and she had no power over Olive herself. “I’m Olive,” She added to the end, figuring that she may as well find out this girl’s name. “How about you?”

I could tell he was still quite upset aobut his nightmares, or what happened to him, and maybe I was wrong about trying to relate to him, so I decided to change the subject. “Are you sure you turned twice? My mother once told me that when Mor was in his human form, he didn’t remeber turning once, and hadn’t realised time has passed. So how can you be sure of anything?” I asked before saying. “Well, I know more about my case that you do, but I can see my experience isn’t really helpful in this scenario. It’s something you’ll have to figure out on your own.”

I took the book in my hands and said “It’s funny you should like books, considering many people in here probably read the story about your mother.” I turned to her “I never realised it could be true. Now if you’ll excuse me I’ll return this book before the teacher caches me with it, don’t know what he is like and if he’s mean I don’t want to be caught with something I maybe shouldn’t.” I raise from the seat, the book in my hand, and approach the bookshelf from where I took it, placing the book back where it was. I returned to my seat and looked around. “This is a nice classroom. From pictures I’ve seen I thought it would be more … bland. But this is really nice.” There was nothing going on as I looked around and the only thing I could note was how different and beautiful this classroom was, so that’s what I did.

“[Sorry? Her TRUE form? So you mean to tell me, she has a different form? Something beastly and animalistic, perhaps?]” I wondered, because I thought I was weird for having a power unique to me, but now I feel more at home than I ever did. With this sense of familliarity or security, I’m not sure which feeling it was just that it was a positive one, I dared ask now what I said I wouldn’t dare ask just a few moments before so with a smile I said “[Tell me more aobut her true form … and yours … if you have one that is.]” I got more curious about her and her sister now than I ever was about my own power.

“[Sorry? Her TRUE form? So you mean to tell me, she has a different form? Something beastly and animalistic, perhaps?]”
Meabh’s eyes widened slightly at this new onslaught of interest from Aoife. She then chuckled, as the girl was quite a bit off.
“[Myself and Neisha are Banshees, so our ‘true form’ is a ghost of sorts,]” She began. “[It reflect’s our personalities a lot more than these disguises, it’s safe to say.]” Taking a breath, she began describing Neisha’s appearance as best she could.
“[Neisha actually looks more elven than human, not gonna lie. Her eyes are white - no pupils or anything. She’s really good at evil grins, too. She’s usually wearing a long feathered dress, and she never ties her hair up.]” Meabh left out the chains. There was no point giving away her true purpose here just yet, after all.
“[Myself, for one I’m a lot taller,” Meabh laughed. That’s usually what freaked most people out. “My arms are very long, and my hands are a bit weird. My hair is long and white, not brown. I don’t wear jewellery in that form either.]” Meabh was struck with an idea. “[I mean, I could show you some time. Maybe not here, cus of all the people - I don’t want to attract attention or any sh!t like that.]”
A thought wandered into Meabh’s mind as she finished her descriptions. “[Do you have any abilities?]” She asked, genuinly curious. You never knew in a place like this.

Moon did her best to hurt the guy without actually hurting him too seriously until he managed to grab her and launch her through the air at the guy who then caught her. She watched as the other guy got up and ran away she then looked up at the guy who asked if she was ok. She knew better than to nod or anything else intelligent at this point, so she simply made monkey noises and climbed all over him before sitting on his shoulder again. Moon replayed the entire encounter in her head, people were fascinating. That is when they don’t hide from you and you rarely see them. Like just now, one was kind and caring towards her and the other one seemed rather mean or at least mean to her, which appears to have set the guy off and destroy the black box thing she heard was called a ‘phone’.

Samantha without hesitation simply said, “Romania, it’s in Europe in the place I’m from.” Which was true, but not as specific as one usually wants to hear, then again the girl was also vague about where she came from. Samantha shook her head, “Nope, absolutely not, I really don’t want to wear that but if they prefer something better than this, I might be willing to oblige.” She picked up one of her bags and went behind a tree before coming around the other side mere seconds later with the same bag but in a completely different outfit, a dress. The dress was a scarlet color at the top before slowly fading into black as one looked down, it was a little more ‘presentable’ as opposed to the close fit leather body suit and cape she currently wore. “I know it’s not that hideous dress code but it’s better and as far as I’m moving towards presentable.” She then shook her head, “No, my invitation was rather…late. I don’t have a schedule.”

Thuc smiled as the little monkey chittered and went to sit on his shoulder. She was alright then.
“Okay monkey, we may as well figure out what classroom I need to go to. I have Literature, of all things.” Smiling, Thuc set off towards the school, his face tingling slghtly from the bruise his opponent had given him. Well, I think it’s safe enough to say the other guy is a lot worse off than me.
Thuc wandered through the hallways, eventually finding his class. “Here we are,” He muttered to himself. He wasn’t sure whether monkeys were allowed in class, but honestly, who cares? It’s not like anyone was allergic is some bs like that. And if they were, they could just leave.

God, César huffed as the other student got back in his face about half a second after he’d pushed him away. Apparently it took more than a judgemental stare to chase that boy away. Insufferable.

The problem was, although César really was good at keeping his composure -because there was nothing more embarrassing that losing your temper-, Poil de Carotte’s stable confidence was throwing him off. He’d never had to insist so much in order to be left alone before. Besides, his muffler was still hanging in midair, and he did want it back.

“Aren’t you funny,” he said contemptuously, eyes darkening at the boy’s malicious airs and that horrible nickname. What César didn’t realise -not even when the other assumed a more defensive tone- was that Poil de Carotte was probably just as annoyed at his lack of humour. “If there’s only that so satisfy you, I’m César. It should really be enough of a price to get that back.”

He gestured towards the light blue scarf that now looked like some sort of garland above the shelf. Looking at the boy’s greedy eyes, however, he knew that it clearly wasn’t going to be enough. Not to mention his smug suggestions. “I really just want my muffler,” he drawled dismissively. Although, he had originally approached the boy because he thought he looked attractive -not that he would ever admit it now.

Placing a foot on the shelf, César gave a tentative press. The entire structure tilted dangerously. “Okay, absolutely not,” he scoffed. “Fine.” Staring back into the opaline eyes next to him, he folded his arms across his chest. “I’ll help you with that… prank. Once, for the sake of a nice scarf. And don’t you ever let anyone know I helped you,” he grimaced.

With a laugh from her little joke, she was quite relieved that he found that funny. Though not obvious with her expression, somewhat hiding her face with her silver hair as she also chuckled to her own joke. And as the talk continued on, she continued on to listen to Beckett and his short rant on how hideous the uniform could be. Fiona, who was quite in an open mouth was quite surprised to see how others hate the uniform. Understandable, she thought, possibly due to lack of expression but even she knew this was for school spirit and punctuality, and with both sides she seen she replied to him, “I see. Well, I guess that’s why some students weren’t wearing the uniform at all. Additionally, I think the male’s uniform can look good if tailored well to the male body. It is quite simple, but I’ve been used to suits like these so I wouldn’t know.”

With his relief to her explanation of her simple rebellious nature as a child, her eyes widen to the thought of other royals of her age would experience or do something as harrowing as the only far thing she remember doing is more than pushing her friend to a lake. With the thoughts circling around her, she responded back to him, “Really? At this age? I mean… I have known royals who are unscrupulous but they were at their 50s. What are those actions they’ve done?” As she asked the question, so did her quick reflex of fear of knowing something dark, “Actually, forget I asked that. I wouldn’t want to discover things that could be a menace to anyone, even to myself, my court will get worried of my wellbeing and be outraged. Who knows what they’re capable of, as I’ve heard my father’s sovereignty.”

With his sigh of relief, both continued on to the topic of language and both would soon comment in small affirmations. As she listened to him speaking, so did the question brighten her eyes as he asked for any recommendation on how to be eloquent. Though unsure at first, she would soon dig up some memories that gave some evidences to her ways of speech that she is accustomed as of today, “Well… To be eloquent is to be literate, and I have learnt majority of my vocabulary to reading books for hours and hours. It could be from those astonishing novels that you imagine and learn from to dictionaries. Though the dictionaries are a choice, since reading them was more of a requirement from my advisor. And to be eloquent is to use it properly and diligently. To remember vocabulary is to use it by habit. Let’s say… parsimonious which is the definition of a frugal or penny-pinching person. You use it everyday such as, ‘This man is a parsimonious freak.’ or something like that.”

As she doodled on her notepad, did he took out his notebook and gave Fiona a sight that made here shocked in awe. Each of the colors and drawing was unique and exquisite. He really is the son of the wardrobe! With her speculations to his sketch, she simply nodded in approval as she looked back at him, “This is wonderful. I would like you to design my gown for a special event someday. Not now, but someday where I can shine like a swan in the bright moonlight.”

“That’s good to know. It would’ve been really sad seeing “you” again and thinking you actually didn’t like me at all,”
Ophelia chuckled lightly ”That really wouldn’t be so nice” she said ”But hey now you know there are two” she added

“No, sorry to dissapoint you,”
”Oh well” she said, taking another bite of her food as he told her about belle saving and not being a teacup. ”Definitely not a teacup” she said with a small chuckle as he asked if her sister was a teacup ”Maybe a shot glass.” she added. It was true in a way though, out of the two, Ophelia was the tea while Audelia was the tequila, so no, not a teacup.

“What’s your first class?” he then asked her, ”Advanced literature” she told him ”What’s yours?”

Shovelling another handful of chips into into his already full mouth, Amius watched as a flawless brunette beauty walked in. Arms crossed, looking as if she were determined to cause trouble. Amius knew that look, many would say he had a similar one. Though he didn’t know her personally, he knew of her from his previous year at OUAH. He just couldn’t remember if he’d seen her dating anyone or not.
The brunette sat down on a chair near him and he watched her, seemingly get more and more bored, that was entertaining to watch. Amius kicked his legs up on the desk in front of him and tilted the chair back against the wall as he watched.
Then she glanced over at him and said, “Watch it hot stuff; You’re taking the whole ‘full and complete breakfast’ to a completely different level.”
“What, you jealous? You want some?”, Amius asked, offering her the packet. Then pulled it back just as quickly and shoved his hand in there. “No, you probably don’t. Not hungry, right? I’m guessing you woke early to meet with your significant other and have a good feed of them.” He had asked rhortically with discust in his voice and spraying a few chewed and broke chip pieces from his mouth.

He nodded, “So- I mean, yes, of course.” Rylan nodded slightly at this, glad he hadn’t apologized yet again. Pin turned away slightly when Rylan brought up girls-so he was embarrassed by that kind of thing? Rylan had to admit-he was sort of the same way, embarrassed by most things romance-related. Mostly because, though he’d had crushes, he hadn’t really dated. And who would want to date him anyways? “Well…I…I must admit, I never really met any.” Rylan gave him a confused look-never met any girls? “The few I did meet were…special. Empresses or nobles, they had a lot of jewels and what not in their hair, and it was normally done up. I was also never really allowed to talk to them.” To this, Rylan rolled his eyes-not at Pin but the idea of not being able to talk to someone just because they were of another class. “Typical,” he snorted. "But they sound pretty.

Smiling at Rylan’s response, Pin spoke in French yet again. “C’était mieu. Je pense que tu as biensoin plus de pratique. J’ai commencé quand j’était… dix, peut-être? Mais ca peuve êtes moins.” Rylan stared at him blankly-he wasn’t fluent or anything. Still, he was pretty sure Pin had told him something like, That was better. More practice. Ten? Maybe this meant he had been practicing for ten years? “Merci! C’est long.” Was his short reply, translating to, “Thanks! That’s a long time!”

The person sighed exactly after he did, then asked, “Who’s your dad?”
His cold, dark eyes seemed to be even more empty than usual when he told her who his father was. “His name is Charon, ferryman of the recently departed. Do you know about the Greeks?”
“There’s no one in the Underworld?”, they asked slowly and sadly.
Syrus shook his head slowly. “There’s no one who is-” He thought about his answer a moment, befoe finishing his sentence. “-alive, so to speak.”
“My name is Caspian, but you can call me Cass if you want to. I accept the pronouns she/her, they/them, and xie/xem.”
“It is nice to meet you Caspian.” He tilted his side, confused on why they’d want to use a plural pronouns. “Are you more than one person? Sorry, that was rude. I… it’s just that I don’t understand. Why would you want to be known by they/them, and what does xie/xem mean?”
