Dieter nodded when Aodghan assumed that his dad carried on as usual after his mom died. “Yeah, he told me that he just brushed it off like it was nothing. It obviously wasn’t. I wish I could see her to get closure. I’d be breaking rules, and my dad would not be happy. He might even come here, and that would be bad.” Dieter smiled slightly when Aodghan said he understood, finding it funny how he mispronounced his name because of his accent. He nodded when Aodghan told him to remember he was a hero. “I will. Just…despite what you might think, I’m not the villain.”

The girl sneezed as Tsuru flew past her, picking up their bag when they dropped it and shifted back. “Thank you.” they said, taking their bag. The girl said it was ok, surprised they got here that fast. They smiled. “It herps when you can fry.” to show what they meant, they set their bag down, turning to their crane form and bending their long neck in a bow. They turned back, and smiled, bowing again in their human form. “Tsuru Ito. You?”

Marc seemed to ramble on quite a bit and Bertram struggled to keep up. He was pretty sure he got the gist of it, about his brother and father and where they lived. Where he got a little lost was around the apology. Bertram had no idea what that was about, so he supposed it was best not to mention that part or at least skirt around the edge of it. He gave Marc another kind smile as he responded, “Your brother likes to be rude on purpose? I thought siblings were meant to be similar of sorts. I do beg your pardon there though, for my lack of knowledge there, I do not have siblings. Neither do I know who your father is, are you close with him?”
After that, Marc asked more about Bertram, to which he was feeling like he’d been put on the spot. Bertram wasn’t usually one to talk about himself, he was a much better listener. Yet, this was what his mother and father had told him about holding a conversation, it was all about give and take. “Why were you following Sir Leodagrance’s carriage?” Alright, first he decided to take more information in before giving any over. “Yes, that is why. Spent my life at home with my mother, yes. I wish to study botany, yes, but I have been focusing on my garden and the forest around our little cottage.”

I nodded. “I didn’t mean any harm with it. I’ve just seen people’s arrogance turn against them” I said calmly as I look at him. “let me tell you, it isn’t pretty” I warned him sadly as my hands started shaking as I felt myself get triggered. I then took a deep breath. “Maybe you are, but you’re also still a breathing individual,” I said with a smile. In the end, you’re just flesh and blood.
@ethereal - Haha look at my boy, making his first enemy on his first day. I’m so proud. (especially since he means it really well haha).
COLM MCCANN - CASTLETERIA
“Cool and yeah I’ll be fine.”
Colm felt dubious about this, but he left it be. If Brooks really wasn’t fine, they’d tell someone, hopefully. “Any rhythms that stick out to you?” Colm considered for a moment. “…nice ones? Nothing overly jarring anyway.” They watched as Brooks sat up a bit, glad to see a little more in the way of energy.
“You don’t have to feel bad for me life is what it is.”
“True,” Colm said, “However it doesn’t mean you have to push everyone away from it either. People are gonna feel bad for you, it’s part and parcel of having empathy. It’s just something you get through when talking about yourself, the other person shows that they care about you by expressing concern, and then you both move on.”
He watched as they prepared themselves to leave, debating on whether or not he would follow. Ah, there’s no harm in it. He didn’t have anything to ‘gather together’ before he left, simply sitting up slightly.
@bpalmer - ORP - hehe, I know nothing about music
FREYA LOCH - GARDENS
Freya listened with a growing frown as Nyana explained why she would rather have been a commoner. “You didn’t get to explore?” Freya was shocked, honestly.
“I mean, I don’t get to much anymore, but when I was a kid all I did was play and have fun. My mum didn’t get me to start training for the title until I was 5, and even then I still had plenty of my own time. Land royalties are strange.”
It was cruel, in Freya’s opinion, although she didn’t voice it. A child without freedom is being denied their childhood.

CAMERON CANES - COVE
Cameron chuckled as Bay’s nose wrinkled slightly at the mention of a ‘beauty’. 'Luckily for him, it didn’t take her long to realise he was talking about her, and soon a beautiful grin spread across her face.
“Well, I would be staring at your head in the back of class, wondering what the best way to ask you out or get you to notice me would be.”
Aw… Cameron grinned also. He doubted they would’ve not gotten together, even if they hadn’t met that day on the beach.
Chuckling as Bay bit her lip playfully, Cameron smiled at her use of “us.” His word of the day, anyway. Despite all this time, he was still amazing to be dating someone as amazing as her.
Bay watched him gut the fish, but Cameron didn’t let himself get distracted by her. He covered the fish in some oils and herbs before wrapping it in tin foil and popping it in their oven to cook
“So, guess what I did yesterday!!!”
Having popped the fish in the oven, Cameron glanced up, curious.
“I met this guy! He looked cool with pink hair and really bright eyes. And he let me to inhale and blow smoke out of my mouth!”
Raising his eyebrows, Cameron joked, “Do I have to worry about this guy?”
As she explained the smoking, he frowned slightly. “Smoking?” That couldn’t be good for her, especially as she wasn’t human.
“That stuff isn’t good for you,” He said, wiping his hands on a towel. “The smoke goes into your lungs and damages them,” He added, trying to explain. “I’m really glad you had fun though, just please be careful with it. There’s chemicals in the things he let you smoke that can get you addicted.”
He hoped she didn’t get too annoyed at him for trying to explain. By the sounds of it, she had been hoping he’d congratulate her or something. Sure, if it had been anything else he would’ve.
@ethereal - Look at Cameron being protective

OLIVE MCCANN - GARDENS
“I also know that myths can be just that - a myth. For all I know you could be some sad little salamander creature.”
Olive smiled at this. “Sure then.”
It was better to be underestimated than overestimated. If this Calista wanted to believe Olive was nothing more than a human-looking fish, so be it.
“When will you learn that you are merely a toy, a puppet for the Gods to play with. Foolish, girl.”
Olive bristled slightly at this, but did her best not to allow it to show. Sure, call me a toy. See how far that gets you. She smiled as Calista left. Should that b!tch show her face again, Olive wasn’t sure that she wouldn’t rip it off; just to show her that even though Kelpies weren’t Gods themselves, doesn’t mean they couldn’t be dangerous to one.
Settling back on the rock, Olive decided to see what the classes were about, and then judge whether she would attend. Not yet, though. Right now she just wanted to relax for a bit.

“It was mostly because of my father, his sister was killed while they were out in the woods playing. royalty will always have people hating them and other dangers. He wanted to make sure I stayed safe, but it cost me my freedom. “I’m sorry about your aunt,” Freya began, “But i guess I understand where he’s coming from. It must be annoying though, that his paranoia has take your freedom. Honestly, it was a silly decision of his. If you really wanted to go out, it would be safer if he knew and let you than forcing you to sneak out alone.”
”Maybe a shot glass.”
To that Noah simply chuckled, already having an idea of what this mystery twin sister was like. “I wanted to say how I hope it would be easy to tell which one you are but I guess it will be?” It wasn’t really a question, just his observation. From his own experience he knew twins aren’t alike; just look at his sister, a little rebel he had to keep an eye on. If he knew where she was… “So you two are complete opposite then?” He curiously asked, slightly raising his brow before going back to his food but still paying attention to the girl next to him.
“Oh… me too,” with a sweet smile, Noah enthusiastically replied. “Probably the class I’m most excited about. Which reminds me…” setting the fork down, he looked around the cafeteria that was now almost empty; just a few students finishing up their breakfast. “We should probably get going. That’s if you want to go with me?” Getting up from his chair, he politely reached his hand out for her to take.

I shook my head. “It’s not pure paranoia, I told you before, right, forest trolls are terrorizing our kingdom and if I get lost and get stuck in the forest at night, things could’ve ended badly. I understand his reasons and I know he’s just trying to protect me, but it did make me grow up in isolation and I’ve never had friends of my own age, which is why I’m so keen to make new friends here” I added on a positive note.

Freya nodded slowly. “Ok, well it’s good that you don’t have to worry about things like that here,” She said, smiling. Looking around herself, Freya spotted the pond that she had called a fish from earlier. “Do you wanna see something?” She asked, grinning. Freya loved her other form, and she hoped that this Nyana would like it too. It wasn’t exactly something she showed to everyone of course, but this girl was nicer than a good many Freya had met before.

Math Class with Amelia Bjorgman ![]()
“I think I need a solid five years of math education before I can do this”.
Kohana smiled, letting out a small laugh. It was honestly not a surprise to see someone “Yeah,” she replied, “If you need extra help with that though, I’m always open to help.” She was ecstatic for Amelia to agree to her offer; though, if she didn’t, that was fine for Kohana too. But it sure would be happier for her to say yes. After all, who doesn’t love to help someone out?
When she lowered her head, it was only to greet her new friend casually without acknowledging her title. Kohana didn’t ever think the girl sitting beside her was someone of high status, and when she heard she was a princess, it was almost automatically that she bowed down her head lower. Good thing was she didn’t stand up; bad thing was that she realized she wasn’t supposed to… as Amelia would have presumably liked. “I’m sorry about that, I know you said I don’t need to,” she said, but she still bowed again as she did. She closed her eyes, covering her head in shame with one hand “I’m sorry again! It’s like a habit, please excuse it.”
Kohana was well aware that many of her schoolmates were royalties. Some were even deities she didn’t knew existed. She’s been told everyone is equal here, though, and she kept that in mind although there was still a part in her that disagreed to that. Thinking about meeting someone with a high status is still different from actually meeting them… especially in the case of Kohana whose origins valued it more than anything. “So um, where are you from?” Kohana didn’t want Amelia to possibly dislike her after going against what she said, and the only thing she could think of to change the course of this interaction was to change the subject… which she hoped she would like.
AMELIA BJORGMAN - MATHEMATICS
“If you need extra help with that though, I’m always open to help.”
Amelia grinned. “I’d really appreciate that, as long as it doesn’t take up too much of your time of course,” This girl was being so helpful.
Amelia’s eyes widened in surprised as Kohana seemed extremely embarrased from her comment.
“It’s no worries, really,” She said, awkwardly patting the girl on the shoulder in an attempt to comfort her. “You don’t need to worry about formalities or any of that bs when you’re with me,”
“So um, where are you from?”
Amelia smiled. “I’m from Arendelle. It’s not in the same world as this one, apparently. How about you?”
Amelia was happy with how open to conversation this girl was, as well as how she hadn’t forgotten to include the other person in the conversation yet.

Moon remembered that she was still in a school and as such had to attend class. She ran outside of the room and without anyone looking turned into her human form. She walked back in and found a seat next to the guy who was with her in her monkey form. She looked around and then remembered that there was a hideous uniform that all the other girls were wearing. She liked her traditional Chinese clothes as they spoke volumes about her heritage and where she came from…plus it also hid her tail. She made sure she had her books and everything before turning to the guy next to her. “Hello. This is literature, right?” She asked to make conversation.

“It won’t! I have a lot of free time in my hands, so you don’t have to actually worry about that.” Kohana reassured Amelia’s worry about her time. It was true. Kohana really didn’t have any other things to do other than study and do something fun for herself. And besides, she guessed it was about time to share fun with other people.
In return, Amelia also reassured her about formalities and such, and needless to say it helped Kohana ease herself down a bit. The girl seemed just really cool; she was unlike her perception of royalties—prim, proper, strict, demanding. Amelia was different. She just seemed casual, a personality she thought she could only see from Kameyo Ba-san, who, even in her very old age, was still as lively as a youth could be. Now thinking about that, she started to miss the old woman. Umaku iku to ii ne.
As she heard the phrase “other world” from Amelia, her eyes immediately lit up. Mentioning that, she has completely piqued her interest and she is now basically ditching the class. Well, what can she say? Stories are better than one-plus-ones. “You’re from the other world, then? That’s interesting, what is it like there?” she asked, leaning forward as a sign that she was hooked and was starving for stories from Arendelle. What a beautiful name for a place. “And I’m from Japan. It’s… hard down there, but I got to live a decent life because of my father.”

THUC KIEU SINH - LITERATURE
The little monkey had disappeared off of Thuc’s shoulder before he entered the classroom, presumably because she preferred the outdoors. Setting himself down in his seat, Thuc surveyed the classroom. Multiple people had paired off, chatting and mingling.
Holy H-ll. Some of the outfit combinations were ludicrous. One kid had wrapped hers in vines? The flowers alone were sure to stain their dress.
Scoffing subtley, Thuc barely noticed as another young lady came to sit beside him. She did not wear the uniform, instead she was clothed in traditional Chinese attire. It was rather beautiful, compared to the uniforms.
“Hello. This is literature, right?” The girl asked him. Thuc nodded, checking his watch for the time. Still some time before classes started, he noted.
“I like your outfit.” Thuc added to his nod, giving her the smallest of smiles.

“Cool,” Amelia replied, grinning.
“You’re from the other world, then? That’s interesting, what is it like there?”
Laughing, Amelia replied. “I don’t think I would call it ‘the’ other world, just ‘an’ other world. It’s certainly very different to this one. This school isn’t on any maps there, safe to say. As for what it’s like; It’s beautiful. Most of the people live in kingdoms, governed by a monarch or government. In Arendelle, my aunt is the current queen. My mother is next in line for the throne, and then there’s me. It’s amazing there, often really cold because of my aunt, but it can be warm too.”
Realising that she was babbling, Amelia closed her mouth quickly, blushing slightly as Kohana mentioned a place called Japan.
“What’s your father like?” Amelia asked, curious. If Kohana told her about her father, that would give her an opportunity to talk about her own father without it looking weird, and then that conversation could lead onto her Mother, and Olaf, and her cousins…
Amelia attempted to control her thoughts. Why the h-ll was she planning out the conversation? Stop that. It’s weird

César’s eyes widened as the scarf gracefully floated down onto his hand. Well, someone was being careful -which was only due.
“This is excellent agility,” he noted, genuinely impressed for the first time. He didn’t lose the scowl, however -and nudged Jakob’s smug smile out of his face the moment the latter’s feet touched the ground. “For someone who dresses like a scarecrow, you do have some sort of charm,” he pointed out, casting aside the view of the shapeless jeans, dull jacket and imperfect teeth to focus on Jakob’s opal eyes and fine bone structure. He could see why some people would like it. Keep on testing me, and I’ll make sure it never happens again, he thought, a furtive smile crossing his lips.
The words could have been warm, but rolling off César’s tongue, they just sounded derisive. Then again, it was only fitting against a boy as cocky as Jakob. Wrapping the muffler around his neck -and relishing that oh-so-comfortable warmth for a moment- he turned back to the other, raising a brow.
“Why, surely you don’t me now,” César stated contemptuously, which was his very personal way of asking the question.
