“Really that shocks me that people don’t like you.” Rory shrugged as he giggled. Kellan had so much confidence it was crazy to Rory. Rory nodded hoping that Hammy would like him when they met but he couldn’t think of any reason that he wouldn’t. “Yeah we might need to destress after classes so like just stop by and Im sure Ill be in my room.” Rory blushed hard and smiled when Kellan told him that it was cool that he was gay as well and that Rory could talk to him about stuff. Rory caught a long look at his glossy lips and it took all of his self control to not just jump the gun right now and try to kiss Kellan. It was nearly irresistible and he was so cute that it wasn’t helping the fact that Kellan had his hands clasped around Rory’s. He was going to have to tell Kellan soon he liked him or this was going to get messy quickly and Rory didn’t want to screw things up and loose his chance. He knew that he wasn’t close enough with Kellan to tell him he had a crush yet but he was sure he would be soon. “No only if we like take pictures together or something.” Rory shrugged as he played with his septum ring again a little nervous. “I know any time with you will be.” he smiled as he nodded.

As Cara pulled her hand away Jayden smiled, sliding her hands into her pockets. There was something about the girl that Jayden just couldn’t place. There was just something about her, but she didn’t even know what that something could be. “Thanks, you don’t know how much I appreciate it, and I’m in advanced math.” Jayden paused slightly, thinking about the girl having been at this school the year before. Unlike Jayden, she must’ve been completely used to the whole idea of the school, and fairytales. “This whole place is just the exact opposite of everything I’m used to, in pretty much every possible way, so you’re kinda a lifesaver by helping me at least start off on the right foot with getting to class.”
@ethereal - Nail polish part fit perfect! And sorry this had been so long of a wait.
CAMERON CANES - COVE
Cameron grinned at her reply.
“No, of course not!! I only like guys with brown hair.”
Chuckling, he began searching around for his uniform, deciding that it was probably best to change soon. He glanced up to look at Bay’s reaction to his warning, surprised to see the terror in her eye.
“Hey, don’t worry,” He said, straightening up and wrapping her in a hug. “One time won’t do any damage, as long as you don’t keep doing it.”
“I didn’t know…”
Giving her a small smile, he murmured, “Of course you didn’t. They only started telling people recently how bad those things are.”
“But maybe it won’t hurt me since I’m a mermaid?”
Cam shook his head, chuckling. “You are the most awesome person in the world, but your lungs would fill up with tar the same as anyone else’s. It’s a slow thing though - as long as you don’t make a habit of this you’re fine.” She looked so worried, even her scared face was adorable but it pulled on Cameron’s heartstrings to see her like this. However, she deserved to know what she was breathing, after all.
“Oh, Cam, he just looked so cool! But I’m not ready to die!”
Holding Bay tight, Cameron didnt say anything at first, just giving her the comfort of the embrace.
Eventually, he said jokingly, “You won’t die. I’m not gonna let you. The Reaper can wait another century, I’m sure.”
Breathing in Bay’s hair, Cameron became very aware that he was still in his fish-smelling pajamas. “I should get dressed now,” He said softly. "I don’t think the school would appreciate me arriving to class in these.

AESTHI LOCH - ADVANCED MATHEMATICS
“Least I know now. You’re either really stupid or desperately lonely. Oh. Em. Gee…”
Shaking xys head, Aesthi grinned. “Try bored and you’ll get a more accurate answer, Quillian,” Xe said, leaning back in his chair. “You know, we could’ve been buddies, but it turns out you’re an @ss and I take great pleasure in annoying you.” Xe laughed. This of course, wasn’t completely true. It was unlikely Aesthi would allow anyone to be ‘buddies’ and replace xys friends from home. Friendly, however? Sure. Anything to help xem get through this
As Quillian confirmed that he did in fact like looking at himself, Aesthi scoffed. “So, not only are you vain and self centered, but you admit to it? It’s safe to say I haven’t met a character like you before,” Chuckling, xe shook his head. Quillian was most certainly interesting, even if he fails to be anything but the antonym of nice.
“I can see why you wouldn’t like to, you’re not that sh^t-hot, no cap. I’d definitely swerve you.”
Turning his head slightly, Aesthi frowned. “You really will dig at anything, won’t you. Fortunately, unlike you, my self esteem isn’t rooted in other people’s opinions of me.”

COLM MCCANN - CASTLETERIA
“What about this rhythm?”
Colm listened carefully for a moment. Well, I can be sure that this one is definitely talented.
“It’s great,” They replied, grinning. “I’m no expert, but I’m pretty sure you could make a decent song off of it.” He really wasn’t an expert. Colm liked music, sure, but he never really delved into it. It was usually just background noise to whatever game of cards he was currently playing. Of course, there were a few times that music truly caught his attention, but these were definitely rare.
Broos stood a moment later, saying, “You coming or not? I can leave you here if you don’t hurry up.”
Victory.
Colm grinned. “I’m comin’,” They replied, standing up. Brooks held less venom in their voice than before also, which he appreciated. Maybe they were even warming up to him. “Where to, captain?” He asked jokingly.

Dark could see the fear in the boy’s eyes. This is how quickly someone with arrogance falls under pressure. It was a pleasure for him to hear every little squeak or supplication. “friends?” he asks mockingly. “just because you’re scared?” he added with a laugh. It was a low, murderous laugh, one of pleasure and power. He could see how proud someone was now showing fear. “What kind of friendship would that be?” He asked.
Then for a few seconds, my gaze turned back to fear and pain. for a few seconds, I was back. I could see Dae no longer had his proud demeanour. “No, no, no, I’m sorry,” I say to him. “I have no control over it,” I say but started to lose control again. “Listen carefully,” I say hastily. “My magic takes control of me sometimes, I have no way to stop it,” I explain. “luckily it’s a light version now, but the only way to stop me when this happens is to knock me out,” I tell him. “Promise me that if I lose control again, you try to take me out as soon as possible, otherwise I’ll play with you, kill you and then move on to other students” I explain while I’m out of breath.
a second after he manages to say that, Dark loses control again and is back to his cold, emotionless and sadistic state. He tilts his head as he tries to figure out what just happened. Then he starts to laugh in a combination of anger and pleasure. “you know what’s going on, don’t you?” He asks. “This state is better, nothing needs to change,” he says. "So don’t do anything that is unnecessary, because I don’t want to dispose of my little toy so soon,” He said threatening.
@ethereal
Oh. Btw, when Dark is in control (so not his magic), the eye with the patch is closed.
Cass nodded. “Yeah, I’ve read about them a bit… I actually have my own canoe. I like ferrying too.”
Syrus narrowed his dark eyes, causing the whites to almost disappear and making them look even darker. He was thinking. “A canoe. I believe that’s the long boat, right, similar to a rowboat except longer and narrower?”
“They can’t talk, then?” Caspian shivered again.
“Are you cold?”, Syrus asked, actually seeing her body quiver this time. “Not exactly, no. They can’t talk, not like you and I are doing now. Though they are very loud, all complaining. I suppose the word you’d use to best describe it would be telepathy.”
“Er… I’m non-binary. So I don’t identify with male or female. I use gender-neutral pronouns to show this…and xie/xem are gender neutral pronouns. A lot of people have never heard of them. You’ve never met a non-binary person…down there?”
Nodding along to what she was saying, as that was the polite way to tell the other person that one was listening. What they were saying made sense to Syrus and he understood what she was talking about. “Yes, I actually have met someone like that,” he told her, emphaising the word met. “The soul was called David Bowie, who said he used the pronouns they/them and he/him. I know what he was talking about now. He’s in Elysium.”

☆ LOCATION: THE HALLWAYS ☆ WITH: MARCELINE ☆
“But did you get enough sleep? It’s very important!” she said with a serious face. Sleep was very important for Leonor. She’ll be groggy and unfriendly the whole day if she doesn’t get enough sleep. “Aw… we don’t have the same class! I have, uh, Mathnatic? Mathelitics? Why can’t I pronounce it!” she folded her arms in frustration. She wasn’t very good with English words. Especially long ones. “I think you know what I meaned.” (I think you know what I meant.) “Marceline… that’s a very pretty name! I wish I had a unikwee name.” (I wish I had a unique name.) Leonor felt a bit conscious when her new friend stared at her. ‘Oh no, ¿me veo bien? ¿Usé mi uniforme correctamente? ¿Es por mi cabello?’ (Oh no, do I look good? Did I wear my uniform correctly? Is it because of my hair?) A short ping from her phone brought her back from her thoughts. “Oh, what’s this?” she clicked on the link which was provided in her messages. “Fah-eri Tea? Sounds cool!” Leonor continued reading and was looking confused. Who were ‘Bleeding Heart’ and all the other people? Eh… it was probably spam. She didn’t bother thinking more about it.

Kiyomi Ketseuki and her sister Ryoko at Once Upon a High could only spell one thing: trouble. They were of pure evil yet still they stood at the gate of Once Upon a High, basking in the cool air that blew by. Like all things dangerous they looked gorgeous. Crosses were draped against Kiyomi’s black clothing, around her neck and waist, however they did nothing to save her already dead soul. They were all for show, she had not prayed to any higher being and had not for a long time. She kicked her black boots against the ground as she observed the elaborate school from behind her sunglasses, leaning against a limo beside her sister, Ryoko. The portal had taken them and now they were observing the school against some poor chump’s limo, they had been late – they were supposed to arrive yesterday but some souls decided to get rowdy in the underworld last night. But in the end, they weren’t here to study, not in the slightest. Hell was getting rather empty – and why wouldn’t it? All the devils were here. Kiyomi’s voice was low and her Japanese accent was distinct as she spoke to Ryoko, her cheerful smile couldn’t give anything away to the students walking by that she was talking about things less than pleasant. “Spirits, monsters, fairytale characters… and gods.” She scoffed at the end. Kiyomi held a specific dislike for the gods, the same who had refused to help her sister and herself so many years ago. All-powerful, huh? She took off the black sunglasses, revealing 2 dark pools of coal within her eyes, the only semblance that something might be off with the beautiful creature that stood at the gates with long dark hair and pale skin. She turned to her sister, “How… fun.”

Despite the dullness of their interaction as both of them were noticeably reserved, they both attempted to be polite enough to continue the conversation. She used to be more talkative then this, she also used to be the second-best and managed to hold the titled of being the most hated and liked person within her school. Conversation (usually snarky ones) used to come easily to her, perhaps she was losing her touch. She returned his Aric’s nod although he knew it was definitely not lovely to meet her. Her own half sister could testify to that fact.
Macy felt slightly embarrassed to find that Aric’s mother was not the person from Cinderella… but he chuckled and didn’t seem to take it badly. “Oh.” Was her singular response. She didn’t recognize who King Edward was but she didn’t say so, instead nodding as if she knew exactly who he was. Macy paused for a moment, her finger tightening just the slightest on the pencil she started playing with. For a moment she considered the consequences of saying, My mother and father are both mortals who bullied my half-siblings into letting me go here. Oh and followed by, Although now I’m starting to doubt who my parents are with all the weird stuff that are probably curses from the same half-siblings. Instead she offered a small smile, “Eos.” Ah, the goddess that which Macy felt some sort of resentment to for inserting her children in Macy’s family. She would never say so, she was still a goddess and Macy was a mortal with a healthy amount of fear. For a moment she expected lightening to strike her, perhaps the goddess’s retribution, but instead nothing happened. She looked back down at her pencil before adding, “Being the child of a king sounds rather fun.”

Arielle Lily woke up rather late in the day, in her own dorm which was enough of a surprise to her already. Today was her first day of school at Once Upon a High. Already she had met two people, Camilla and Jason both of which Arielle thought were her friends… Camilla… Arielle still felt guilty about how she ended her time with Camilla. I’ll find her today, hopefully we have some classes together. Arielle reassured herself before swinging her feet over her bed and getting ready for her day. She didn’t take too long in the bathroom, only about 30 minutes before she came out, dressed in the basic school uniform and her hair tied up out of her face into a messy bun that allowed her freckles to stand more prominently against her face. Pleased with her appearance, Arielle stepped away from the mirror and exited her dorm, picking up the light backpack by her desk.
The first thing she did was head to the nurse, this was an event she couldn’t hope to avoid. As she did so, she recounted her day yesterday. Camilla and her finding their way out of the forest, eating and somehow ending up arguing in which Arielle left. Meeting Jason and helping him find his female friend, but unable to find her and heading their seperate ways. Altogether it was the most eventful day she had in a while, back home she had gotten used to everyday being the same. It had become almost monotonous. Boring. Arielle didn’t like that in the slightest. Although her idea of fun or interesting wasn’t arguing with a friend. She snapped out of her thoughts as she spoke to the nurse, closing the infirmary door behind her.
When she finished up speaking with the nurse, she exited the infirmary quickly, walking down the hallway a little more life in her step. Her first class was Advanced Literature. and she had no clue where she was going, turning this way and that way throughout the halls. Losing where she was didn’t faze her, jus another adventure to be embarked on. Although, she was getting slightly concerned, she didn’t want to be late to her first glass. Until she glimpsed the familiar face of Jason, yes, Jason would know where to go. This was his second year here after all. “Jason!” Arielle waved at the boy before walking down the hall until she was walking beside him. “Sorry, do you know where the Advanced Lit class is? I’ve been walking forever and I still can’t find it.”

“So what, you’re some kind of demigod?” Valencia nodded in response to that, although it was a little more complicated than that. She was a demigod but, she was also immortal. A lesser god. “Yeah, I am.” She shrugged slightly, she was powerful and just the mention of being a demigod impressed some people although she figured Aiblhe wouldn’t be too impressed nor would anyone here would. After all, it wasn’t as if she was the only demigod here. “Meh, powerful people often get together with humans. It’s an ongoing trend, it seems, no matter the culture.” Valencia chuckled at that, she was in fact correct. Most cultures and their beings had some interactions with humans, after all, how else would they exist. They as in demigods, demispirits, children of divine beings. Valencia nodded, surprised that Aiblhe didn’t have any ‘flashy’ abilities that others would have, after all her father was a death harbringer. “A few,” Valencia admitted when Aiblhe asked what her powers were. Her eyes flitted around the garden to see who was around. She didn’t want to give too much away about what she could do, she learned the first time around that doing that was dangerous. “I can create earthquakes.” Valencia offered, lifting her chin. She didn’t blink or offer any tell that she may be hiding that she in fact could do more than create earthquakes. “Tremors or something to topple an area, it’s not always useful.”

Fiona seemed to be somewhat surprised to the fact that there was a very strong dislike (particularly on beckett’s part) to the school uniform. Maybe Beckett would’ve been kinder to the poor uniform if they were given a choice on whether or not to wear it. Self-expression was truly everything to Beckett. “To be completely honest i think there are more people not wearing the uniform than those wearing it.” He sighed before adding, “I would’ve joined them but it’s only the first day – i’m trying to lay low.” He nodded in agreement, “It could look better but in my humble opinion the uniform would never look good.” He made a show of checking the clock before adding, “It’s about a few centuries late.”
Beckett was always a troublesome person, getting in trouble for the silliest and stupidest actions a child could get into trouble. Many a time he had messed around with something that could’ve messed up his life. But it was apart of life, to have fun and to dare. as fiona asked what actions that had been down Beckett chuckled, running a hand through his hair as he shook his head. “Well,” he said divulging into things he had heard of royals doing back home. “They-” “Actually, forget I asked that. I wouldn’t want to discover things that could be a menace to anyone, even to myself, my court will get worried of my wellbeing and be outraged. Who knows what they’re capable of, as I’ve heard my father’s sovereignty.” Beckett shrugged although his eyes were alight with amusement, “If you say so.” He replied in a sing-song voice. He doubted she’d be able to deny the curiousity of wanting to know.
“Par-si-mionous. Sounds like a fruit.” Beckett commented after fiona had finished speaking. He smiled at that before adding, “My government is a parsinonmous freak,” Beckett spoke confidently although he knew he had absolutely butchered the word. “anyways, books and dictionaries i guess aren’t too hard. but reading one in english will make my eyes go crossed.” As if to elaborate his point he crossed his eyes momentarily before returning them back to their original state. “I suppose I’ll have to rely on you to be eloquent enough for the both of us.”
Pride was something Beckett deeply held, specifically when it came to his designs and sketches. when Beckett smiled at that, he already had ideas running through his head. fabrics, colors, inspirations. he nodded, "I would love to. " He didn’t mind making things for friends, and already he had considered Fiona to be a friend of his. It seemed that once upon a high wouldn’t be such a horror, even with it’s ugly uniform. suddenly, an idea stuck him and he turned to a new page where he began sketching something out. maybe he could design a new uniform, something the school wouldn’t mind wearing. “Fiona, what do you think of having a new uniform?”

“Aww, why not?” Ivan asked, trying to get into Aidene’s field of vision. Because then you’ll hate me, came an internal thought that surprised herself. Aidene mocked his head tilt before responding, “Because then it’s not as fun anymore.” “What’s all this ‘we’ stuff?” Aidene shrugged before sarcastically, “We as in me, myself and I.”[
“No, no, I got this. Third time’s a charm.” Aidene chuckled as Ivan’s face went red, realizing he had miswritten the problem, it was slightly amusing to find that he had trouble in math. She was competitive, she liked being better than people at things, after all. He rewrote the problem, this time it was written correct and more legible than the last time. He merely smirked and said “No, no, I got this. Third time’s a charm.” at her offer to help, to which she raised a brow at. He still continued to try solve the problem, forgetting you should only add or subtract number with like variables. Ivan seemed a little frustrated as he struggled what to do after this. Aidene looked at what he had still -30x = 67. But it was nowhere close to the correct ansewer. She took a red pen and moved closer to Ivan, close enough to write on the paper. She ran one line through what he had left and quietly began to work out the problem on a blank section of the paper he had. She rewrote the problem neatly: 3(-2x + 12) = 67 . Then she multiplied everything in the parantheses by 3, which left her with -6x + 36 = 67. Followed by that she subtracted 36 from both sides, leaving her with -6x =31 to which she divided both sides by 6 leaving her with 'x ≈ 5.2 '“Leaves you with a decimal,” she explained with the last step. " Just round it to the nearest tenth… so approximately 5.2." She circled her ansewer one before setting down the pen. “You were really off,” Aidene ended. “Have you looked into getting tutored?” She teased.

Hilda cringed at Eun’s expression-which made her feel a bit bad for eliciting such a reaction so quickly. However, they exhaled, relieved, when Eun giggled and explained. She then watched, semi-horrified as Hilda whacked their own head against the table, but couldn’t help letting out a light laugh. “Don’t hurt yourself!” They smiled at Eun, “Yeah, it really is.” She nodded, “Again, though, everyone makes their own choices, and there are plenty of other ways to fight against injustice in the food industry.” She grinned, eyeing the eggs on Hilda’s plate, and tried not to be impatient.

Kellan smiled sweetly when Rory said it shocked him people disliked Kellan. “Well, not everyone can handle all this,” he replied, again oozing with self-confidence. Kellan nodded-“Oh, for sure! I’ll definitely stop by. Usually after classes, I get a snack or hit the boutiques, though.” He said. He already had plenty of new clothes, though and it wasn’t like he had to go to the mall and waste all of his money every day. As his face got closer to Rory’s, he wondered if they were both thinking the same thing. He definitely had a bit of a crush, but he wanted to get to know him better first… two gay guys could be friends and he didn’t want to assume anything or move too quickly. “No, only if we like, take pictures or something. I know any time with you will be.” Kellan blushed at this- Rory was honestly such a sweetheart. “Same to you! It’s going to be the best!” Kellan bubbled. The two boys finally approached the Literature classroom, and Kellan held the door open for Rory. “Well, here we are!!”

As she decided to listen closer to Neisha, Bai-San picked up a possible sign that she may be a bit comfortable to her as Neisha did laugh at her statement and opened up on how she technically isn’t even stuck… by that definition of course. Nodding as she listens to Neisha more, Bai-San confidently shared a few of her likes. It was then that she was able to pick up a tone that gave a sense of familiarity to what she had experienced a long time ago. But as she gripped herself back to reality, she only shook the idea of Neisha’s genuine friendliness as she continued on to explain some things to her.
And with her final statement cleared out of her head, she awaits for her answers as she goes on to carefully pick up on information as she likes to get along with others. And with her answers to liking silver, her eyes brightened in excitement as she had a lot of silver things she had in mind and wanted to talk about it. But as soon as she was about to utter it however, Neisha’s tone to Bai-San was then implied bold to her. Is she trying to be that type of person to me? Bai-San’s then cheerful side became proper as her laidback stance came erect and her usual grace was then emphasized as she look to her eyes with a squint and her mouth covered with a hand. “It’s called a poetic speech. I could easily say that I like green and I told my servants to make me a hanfu with majority of its color green, but that would have been too simplistic in my teachings. But I see that you can’t pick up on that, not that it seems like you care at least.”
As she came down on earth, she once remembered her reason of distaste. Not a respect or even audacity to talk to her like that, even if it was subtle. Oh how blind she was, she thought. Granted 1,000 years in the heavenly realm can make difference. As she added once more to her, “You know, you said that you are technically a spirit. I would assume that you roam around earth, lurking around mortals. Make sense, and I forgive. But it gives sense for beings like that forever in land, cursed with dirty humans untouched by gold and silver. Anyways… I’ll even research a bit, to prove me wrong of course.” As she twirled her hair around in pride, she looked at her once more, “So let’s talk more! Where do you come from? I’m very curious since I never had heard where you really came from…”

As Cotton noticed Bobbie as she was thinking of something, quite loudly and sternly if she had ever seen one, the latter part of her question remained a surprise to her. Well, she expected a question about how everyone can hate someone for no reason, to that , she explained a little lighter for Bobbie, “Maybe so, maybe not. I don’t know or care to intervene with anyone’s personal life. But of course, not all people are going to be liking you and be friendly… There are dangers in this world, but of course Bobbie, never let that thought dwindle in your mind. You’ll go crazy, crazier than a clown in a comic book movie. And if someone is like that, you have three choices: Either prove them your worth, the worst option in my opinion. Don’t be bothered by their negativity and just be a jolly good show, or just ignore them. Plain and simple. No talking, no entertaining, just pass on and move on.”
As she listened to her explanation of her other identical, she laughed at the question to at least give Bobbie a shock factor, “67 siblings. Mind you we were as small as two snowballs to hit in a snowball fight. I love all of them dearly, and they are very much adorbs when we were young. Some are similar, some are not, but we got along being giddy children. And if you wonder 67, we’re all snow entities so…” And as for that touch by Bobbie, she grew panicked as Cotton hurryingly fixed her face, apologizing to her. As Cotton sighed, she gave a stern look at Bobbie, “It’s all fine, just don’t do it again. We just met for a short time, so all is fine.”
With her enthusiasm for fashion came through, so did Bobbie’s confusion to fashion. As she questioned to what terminologies was explained, Cotton cracked a laugh as she confidently educated her, “1940s and 1950s fashion, darling. But this is called style, you can take any time period and intertwine it in your wardrobe. I fancied the silhouette of the 50s due to its graceful look, but that doesn’t mean I’m old. Taking inspirations to the past does not instantly mean I’m old. That would be rude to imply that I’m old. I’m a young teenager. I promise.” With that, she looked at her compact mirror as she emptily stared at her face… contemplating if she did look old or something.

AILBHE - GARDENS
Valencia shrugged at Ailbhe’s query of whethe or not she was a demigod.
“Yeah, I am.”
Nodding, Ailbhe replied. “Cool,” Not much in the way of leverage there, unfortunately.
She grinned as Valencia reacted to her comment with a chuckle. Honestly, ‘divine beings’ mustn’t be all that divine, if they prefer the company of ‘mere mortals’ more than their own kind.
“A few”
This peaked Ailbhe’s interest. Maybe she’d be able to use Valencia to hurt others, rather than simply hurting her directly. Depending on her ‘powers’, she could turn out to be quite useful.
"I can create earthquakes. Tremors or something to topple an area, it’s not always useful.”
Is that all? Ailbhe expected more, especially from her first comment of ‘a few’ abilities. Feigning ignorance to this, she smiled. “That’s cool. So what, if you really didn’t like someone, you could toss their house down?”

The girl smiled, casually sliding her hands into her pockets. “Thanks, you don’t know how much I appreciate it, and I’m in advanced math.” Cara smiled, “It’s no problem at all!” She said brightly. “Wow, advanced math! I have math for mine.” It was too bad they weren’t in the same first class-Cara wanted to talk with her more. It was that same, strange sense again. Oh well, she could still talk to her before classes started. “This whole place is just the exact opposite of everything I’m used to, in pretty much every possible way, so you’re kinda a lifesaver by helping me at least start off on the right foot with getting to class.” Jayden said. Cara began to walk, looking over her shoulder in hopes Jayden would follow her. “Oh, I know, right? When I first started here, it was a totally different world. I’ve been homeschooled for almost all of my life, too, which made it even harder to get used to.” She didn’t know why she had said that-usually she didn’t mention homeschooling right off the bat. But, she felt like she could trust this girl.

“Thanks.” They nodded as they started to walk shrugging when Colm asked where they were going. Brooks was softly humming to themself it was the song that they had been working on for a while now but just couldn’t find a bridge that they liked. Brook really liked music it was one of the few things that brought joy to Brooks. It was a way that they managed to express themself and to let things out more than they usually managed through words. Brooks nodded as Colm decided that they were coming with. Part of them wanted to ditch Colm but also part of them was glad that Colm was following them to who only knew where. “Do not call me captain and I have no idea just not here.” Brooks replied flatly as they rolled their eyes.

“Well I can handle all of your… well everything.” He says as he smiles at Kellan. He was so glad that him and Kellan had hit it off so far like they had. “You hav so much self confidence Kellan its kind of crazy.” Rory admitted as they kept walking to class. Rory got really excited that he would stop by after class Rory didn’t have plans until then and they were now the best kind of plans that he could have ever even dreamed of. Hanging out with an amazing, confident, handsome, kind, magical, guy. Kellan checked so many boxes for Rory that he didn’t even know he had. Rory caught Kellan looking at his lips too and blushed wondering if Kellan was really interested in him like he thought. Even if he wasn’t they could still be friends right? Regardless they still should get to know each other better before Rory said anything about any kind of crush on Kellan he had. “We could maybe do something this weekend or what not I mean pictures with your friends are always great.” Rory smiled when they got there and found the class. “Well lets go find seats together.”

COLM MCCANN - WALKING WITH BROOKS
Colm’s ears picked up the faint humming from Brooks. It was quite a beautiful tune, although he wasn’t going to comment this as they might find the hearing thing strange.
“Do not call me captain and I have no idea just not here.”
“Coolio, I can get behind that.” Grinning, Colm stuck his hands in his pockets and strolled along beside Brooks. Now that they were in the corridoors, the smells of other people were still quite pungent, but they moved along swiftly every time someone passed them, meaning that no individual scent hovered long enough for Colm to have to exert an overly conscious effort to not switch his skin and catch a hold on every human there.
On that note, Colm remembered that he hadn’t eaten yet. He doubted Brook’s would want to wait for them while they hunted, and so he decided that it would probably be best to ignore his stomach for the time being.
