Isaiah Westergaard Laurie, Hallway, somewhere, I think
Isaiah sighed, he hated to hear the way that Laurie had been treated. And while, yes, it was true that Isaiah had been cared for and loved by his father, he almost felt as though it was for Hans’ own selfish reasons. The minute Tristan stopped trying and started goofing off, all of his father’s attention was directed to Isaiah. “Yes, you’re right. I’m very lucky, but I don’t feel as though my father did it for my sake - only for his.” He smiled when Laurie giggled, it felt nice knowing someone understood his sense of humor. “Oh, yikes. Well, I’m taking all advanced classes so if you need any homework help, I might be your guy.” Isaiah looked away, embarrassed as he scratched the back of his neck. He had expertly avoided saying that he needed help finding the castleteria… so how was he going to navigate this one. “No, no, I should be fine. But if you wanna stick around, maybe walk me to class or something, I mean, I wouldn’t be opposed to the idea.”

Aodghan MacCool Dieter, Room 162
Aodghan paused before saying something, death should be acknowledged. Not ignored. It was important to commemorate people’s life and their achievements - even if what they did was small. “Rules? What rules,” he asked the question cautiously. He didn’t want to intrude on some secret pact thing that only Dieter could know about. Aodghan raised his shoulders and puffed his chest, slightly. “Yes, bringing your father here would be bad. But much worse than what you could imagine.” Aodghan was partially threatening him, partially warning.
He raised an eyebrow, Death is always the villain. He thought to himself. Death was the reason the heroes died, in every story. Even if they beat the antagonist in the end, Death was inevitable - even more so than Thanos. “Villain is a loose term,” he replied. “Some view killing something as being a villain, others see it as leaving out the milk. It’s much like being a hero, but the villain’s rarely ever come out alive.”

ORP: Sorry, I completely missed this somehow! Even though I remembered reading it so I must have forgotten! So sorry.
Pin Quan Kieu Rylan, Mathematics
He resisted the urge to stare at Rylan’s curls. It was weirdly difficult for him to do. Pin was actually shocked when he asked for his opinion on it. What did he think of it? He had never really thought about it, he spent most of his time ignoring his own business. “I- I… I guess that women deserve to be treated with respect. And sometimes, people view servants not talking to them a sign of respect,” he looked towards Rylan, wondering what his reaction would be.
Rylan looked discouraged when Pin admitted that he had been a somewhat important person, “Don’t feel bad, I’ve met plenty of nice peasants! Besides, being a peasant isn’t all bad. At least you don’t have to deal with politics.” Pin was trying to be encouraging. Much like he was remaining positive, he was very sanguine that way.
