Kellan looked down at Katsu’s feet and let out a short, loud scream. “Ohmygosh, where are your heels?” He had to look down quite a bit-wearing heels made him a lot taller than the flat-footed Katsu. “Nahhh, I’m good!” Kellan said, clinging to Katsu to make sure he was balanced and stable-he was. He had not fallen in heels since he was a toddler. He listened with hopeful, sparkling blue eyes as Katsu listed their own classes, saying after lunch, they had all of their classes together. Kellan squealed, jumping up and down and making excited hand motions as well (his hands were clenched and shaking back and forth slightly). “Thank goodness. That totally makes up for not having anything this morning.” He said, rolling his eyes and speaking sarcastically-though he wasn’t really being too sarcastic. The two friends squealed at the exact same time, and Kellan giggled. Katsu was the perfect friend for him-they had so much in common.

Katsu smiled at Kellan’s excitement-another thing about them-nothing about Kellan seemed to faze Katsu. They were always smiling and hyping him up, even if he was acting a bit crazy. ”Is too possible!” Kellan argued, his eyes crinkling. ”Being away from you suckssss.” He drawled, throwing his arms against his sides, as if exhausted. He pouted empathetically as Katsu told the story of how he’d arrived at OUAH-sneaking away from home in the middle of the night and arriving very late. ”Poor thing! Did you even get a wink of sleep?!” Kellan asked worriedly. None of this would’ve had to happen if Katsu’s parents weren’t so insane, at least that was his theory. “Don’t worry, I’ll walk you to… which class is next again?” Kellan asked. It seemed he was escorting a lot of people to class today-not that he minded! Especially if those people were Rory and Katsu. Though Katsu said they would have a while together, trying to be optimistic, Kellan could tell they were still worried about their parents finding them-which was totally reasonable. They’d probably flip out when they realized they’d run away. And if they knew about the school…”I’m not letting you go.” Kellan voiced stubbornly, holding Katsu tighter. “Your parents won’t find out, I promise!”

”Ughhh yeah the first half of classes is always so…” Kellan couldn’t think of the right description so he just gave a GIANT yawn. Though he didn’t hate classes when he was sitting with his friends. “Oh, they’re going to love you!!” Kellan promised. “You’re about to have three new friends.” If they all show up, that is. He shook his head, giggling. “I figured that out a long time ago.” He joked after Katsu again, seemed to read his mind. Katsu seemed surprised he met someone so quickly-and to be honest, so was Kellan. He fell for people easily, but it wasn’t as often that he thought he had a chance. Rory was different. He grinned when his friend urged him to give more details. “Yes way!!! We met in the hallways, his name’s Rory!!! He’s like the most adorable, hot, beautiful person I’ve ever seen rolled into one.” He looked at Katsu-“Well, maybe tied with you.” He said, not wanting to offend, but this was different, he was attracted to Rory, while Katsu was his best friend. “He has brown hair and brown eyes, and…” Kellan paused for dramatic effect. “A septum!!!” Kellan went on, “We’ve already planned so many hangouts, we follow each other on social media, and we held hands during class.” His eyes widened-“Oh, I should just show you his picture,” he said, getting out his phone so he could go on Instagrimm.

Li-Jun had made it through his first two classes-advanced mathematics and advanced literature with ease. Mr. Bisson was a great guy, and Li-Jim could tell he was going to enjoy the class and get along with the teacher. He was also fascinated by 3arl, the robotic teacher-how did he work? How were his expressions so vivid, his intelligence so…human? He didn’t ask, though he really did want to know. As he made his way out of class, he remembered his next class-Villain History and Skills. Though Li-Jun liked to think of himself as a decent person, Villain Historu and Skills seemed a lot more useful than Kingdom Management and History. He would never be in charge of a kingdom-he was far, far from royalty. Besides, his father was one of the most famous villains-so it was kinda the class he was expected to take. He didn’t realize as he thought about his classes, he had stopped walking and started staring at a boy-zoning out. He snapped back to reality quickly, his glasses almost falling off of his face. His cheeks turned pink-this guy had curly brown hair, darker brown eyes, and looked very friendly. Why did he always blush around good looking guys? Perhaps it was because he was jealous of their looks? He told himself, looking away to hide the blush with one hand. “Sorry about that!” He muttered awkwardly.

With two classes in, she felt quite relieved that she was able to survive in such temperatures. Sure, the weather helped cool things off for her, but she felt as if she was regaining this sort of melty feeling around her. It was quite weird since she can withstand such weather no more than eight hours. After the second class, she rushed off to go back to her dorm as she went back to her room, opening was a gust of freezing air as she felt a relieving sensation. Once inside her room, she quickly scavenged an old trusty item used when such situations happen. A quaint cloud of snow, as she carefully molded it to look like a pillbox hat, she looked into her face in the mirror as she looked for imperfections.

Gasp! The look she achieved is a disaster! No New Look silhouette fit with such a late era hat. Even this hat would make her seem like an old church lady than high fashion. Within a quick glimpse, she molded the hat once more to make it look fashionable, pulled her curled hair and smoothed into a chignon, and decided to switch the flowy skirt with a pencil skirt. Same color, mind you, as she prays that this look might caught off the staff’s radar. As she looks at her mirror once more, she decided the look was acceptable and quickly rushed into her class.

With still a moment to be on time, she quickly went to the Chemistry classes as she enters the door as if nothing happened. With soft walks, side to side, she gracefully sits down into her seat as she looks to her bag and fixes her face for small imperfections. Reapplying a tint on her lips, she noticed a girl beside her. A nice gesture, she smiles to her, “Hey, do I look fine today? I just had a mishap today, and I am now worried if I look decent enough,” Cotton clears her throat out of not introducing her name once more, “Cotton. Nice to meet you.”

“Oh, loads of things really. For instance, the fact that you hate studying and you’d rather be ditching right now.”
Jara sighed in relief again. “Okay, good. I’m not crazy. If I wanted to ditch class I’d just ditch it to go study more,” Jara chuckled. “And if you were a curse, why would you tell me? Next time, I recommend being vaguer and using the Barnum effect to your advantage.” She liked Alya’s giggle at least, even if it was from her own torment.

“Don’t worry, I agree. You were in much more danger than me. You couldn’t even see me two seconds ago. What book did you hit yourself with, anyways? I didn’t catch the title.”
“Oh! Just some book about dark psychology and manipulation,” Jara answered, “It’s an interesting read. I’ll need to learn to avoid and use those tricks for myself soon enough. I should thank you for giving me another trick to look out for. Thank you Alya.” She took her tapping fingers off Alya’s fingernails and reached into her bookbag, rummaging around in it. Jara wondered how skilled Alya was with trickery or if she was just bad at picking up on tricks. Either way, she wouldn’t let herself be tricked again so easily.

“Isn’t that the same thing as being scared…?”
Jara let her pouting face rest and sighed. “Noooo. I was just annoyed and upset with being insane, not fearful. That’s the difference,” Jara pointed out, denying it. She realized she wasn’t adding to the conversation. So, she decided to add, “Have you ever seen the sea?” Her discussion about food was still in her head from earlier.

MEABH AND NEISHA SÍDHE

“Yeah, I can try. Thanks for letting me help. Do you know what’s wrong?”
Neisha tilted her head slightly, considering. The truth would probably work best here, or at the very least a tinted version of the truth, allowing Neisha to paint herself as the victim, which she was in her opinion, and paint Meabh as the helpful and slightly heroic sibling. At Meabh’s querying glance, Neisha swiftly and quietly discussed her plans, both siblings quickly reaching an agreement on the matter.
“Uhm…It’s complicated,” Neisha began, rubbing the back of her neck in faux reluctance. “My mother back home got jealous of my power, and how I was growing stronger than her.” this was not the whole truth, but it was close enough that Neisha wasn’t exactly lying; not to Hilda at least. Meabh thought she was telling the kid the truth, but shprt and simple, without all the extra flourishes that Neisha was adding. Too bad.
“Anyway,” Neisha continued, crossing her arms. “To make a long story short, she put a bunch of d-mned chains on me to block my magic, and Meabh and I are trying to figure out how to take them off again.” Anger and frustration coloured Neisha’s voice now, with underlying hints of pain. None of these emotions were exaggerated, unfortunately. Clíodhna’s betrayal had wounded Neisha emotionally, and it was one wound that would be a long time in healing. No matter how much she had deserved the treatment, Neisha still burned with betrayal, hurt and hatred at the action.
Shaking her head, Neisha waited on Hilda’s response, aware of Meabh’s sympathetic glance as her sibling sensed her emotions.

AESTHI LOCH

“Oh, I’m sorry. You looked like you would have been able to see me. Do you not have as much goodness as most of the other people your age, then?”
A confused Aesthi continued swiveling xys head in an attempt to find the source of the voice.
“Alright,” Xe thought aloud, abandoning xys sketching for the moment. “So, you’re definitely not a hallucination. You’re invisible or something weird like that.” It probably wasn’t the weirdest occurrence in this school - after all, Aesthi was far from normal xemself. “And the h-ll do you mean by goodness? I’m fine. I’m not an @sshole and I don’t know where you got that assumption from.” Scoffing slightly, Aesthi shook xys head, closing the notebook as xe did so. Not wanting to converse over xys shoulder, xe spun xemself around to face where xe assumed the voice was coming from.
“I’m so sorry that something already ruined your day.”
Shrugging, Aesthi looked down into xys lap, considering how much to tell the strange voice. Eh, what the h-ll.
“Still a bit p!ssed off that my sister dragged me here, is all.” Xe replied, allowing a small smile to filter back onto xys face. “She tries to hard, to be honest. I don’t want anything to do with her, and she keeps bl00dy trying. I don’t know why.”

@Edelgard - No that’s good!!

THUC KIEU SINH

Thuc watched with idle amusement as a small boy approached him, clearly lost and confused.
“H-hi, I’m Pin Quan Kieu, sorry to bug you. I’m really new here. I was wondering if this is the chemythstry room?”
“Well, Pin,” Thuc practically sneered the name. Huh, Pin. Fitting. “You are currently in the advanced Chemythstry room. The Chem room for average people is down the hall.”
Each word was spoken carefully and with a perfectly decorated smile, which was easily maintained due to the kid’s almost comical nervousness.
“As for introductions, My name is Thuc Kieu Sinh, and it’s a name you would be well to remember, especially as you appear to have the privilege and luck to share in one of them.” Thuc didn’t think overly much of the coincidence, of course. He was well aware that there could be distant family members sharing the same name as him, and there existence was of no threat.

“Sorry, I didn’t realize my hair was that scary.” He pushed back the brown mop atop his head laughing-but Eudora felt even more anxious-as if she had offended him somehow? Was he butthurt? She didn’t meet his eyes-it wasn’t his hair that was scary. Besides, she had much more volume in her curls than he did. “But seriously, are you okay?” He asked, sounding genuine after she didn’t say anything for awhile. Oh no. Eudora didn’t know what to say to this-of course she couldn’t admit she was afraid of him-and why. She gave her best smile-though it appeared desperate. “I’m fine.” Even her voice sounded strained. He didn’t thank her for the pencil, though she didn’t have time to mind. Instead, he gave her something in return-a red handkerchief with gold traveling down the edges. It was the same color of the filling in the middle of the truffle. Eudora, who had already wiped her chocolatey mouth on the back of her hand, looked at it timidly, then shook her head to say it was fine. “I’m Isaiah.” Eudora supposed she had to say her name now. “Eudora.” She got out.

He looked a bit taken aback at Ace’s harsh reaction. “What can I say. She looks fun.” Ace shook his head-“Don’t judge a book by it’s cover, am I right?” He sneered-saying this quote, he felt quite cocky and intelligent even though he obviously didn’t live by it-he had literally judged this boy based on appearance. The guy’s confident smirk seemed to fade slightly as Ace ranted on about the girl. He sighed-“Well d-mn. That sucks.” He turned around in his seat, giving most of his attention to Ace and asking what the two girls had done. “Well, purple over there tried to pick a fight with me for literally no reason.” He started, glaring pointedly at her purple head. “Of course, I won with ease-but that’s not the point.” Though it was, Ace loved to brag. Even though it had been the other way around, and Eudora’s b-tchy girlfriend had beat the sh-t out of him. “Hey, I’m new, man. Cut me some slack.” He said somewhat defensively. Ace didn’t want to scare off this potential friend-someone who didn’t know about his reputation from last year-someone he could have a fresh start with. He smiled grimly-“Ace. Welcome to h-ll, I guess. Most of the girls here are totally lame.”

He noticed Eudora was speaking with a guy-an ugly guy with an uglier haircut and weird glasses. He snorted at her fear, as she refused to accept a handkerchief for him, wiping chocolate on her hand. Pathetic. He turned back to the guy, then nodded towards the mop-haired boy-“Look at that loser.” He laughed at the guy’s last remark-even though he, too, was not in line to be a king. “I don’t even know why they bother coming here.”

Aridadne walked into the chemythstry classroom, barely a minute early. Ari took a deep breathe, it was as if it had rained in here earlier, just a humid gulp mainly. She was relieved that that the classroom was mostly filled. Due to her need to avoid someone, she was glad to see that the classroom was mostly full. She searched for a spot near the back, but all she could find was one near the middle. She sat next to a girl who seemed to be conversing… but with herself? Ari tried to ignore it… until she couldn’t anymore. Who would speak to themselves out loud? she wondered. She drew ever so slightly closer. I wonder if Elliot does something like this? Ari laughed quietly to herself, realizing she had been a little louder than she had expected. She clenched her jaw a slight bit, looking up. “Sorry,” She said just loud enough turning her body almost completely. She looked over again, to see if the girl even knew why she was apologizing.

Hilda listened, shocked as Neisha explained the issue. They glanced down in confusion, not seeing anything. “Are you the only one able to see them?” Hilda could hear the anger and pain in her voice, and clenched their fists. “Ok, tell me what you’ve learned about this, please.” They said, trying to control their anger at the fact that a mother would do this. Sure, their mom wasn’t the best, but she’d never do that.

The lack of tact -and, really, unwavering confidence- with which the stranger swivelled around in xys chair to snap at him came as a surprise. Alone, it wouldn’t have sufficed to shake Marc’s serene stance; however, coupled with the familiar the words that followed, it succeeded to destabilise him momentarily. Marc’s hands loosened a little against his elbows, and he blinked lazily. César. Speaking to that girl.

He had to wrench his eyes away from the other student, the quick show of tiredness that flashed across his face disappearing into a tranquil expression. Still, Marc’s grip felt ever-so-slightly tight against his notebook as he took a step to the side. For a moment, he looked like he was going to sit at one of the desks, nothing more -and then he leaned a little towards the younger person, once again bringing a hand to his face in a whispering gesture.

“I could be your conscience,” he lilted, taking on an amused expression. “Kære,” Marc’s gentle features felt terribly wrong as he went on, arm drifting back down to his side, “have you thought about the fact that maybe you’re hurting her?” He joined his hands with a jovial shrug, contrastingly watching the student before him with intensity. “You will never understand why if you don’t try to speak with her. Besides, look at where you are.” Marc gestured to the beautiful teal walls, and overall spacious castle. To the slight quirk of the stranger’s lips, he let out a beaming smile -the falsehood of which could only be caught if the other student noticed the lack of regularly in his voice. “It seems to me that she does a lot for you.”

~>>Kai Charming<<~

Kai blinked and just stared for a moment when the guy just let him go. He had expected that he would need to throw at least a punch or two to get out of this situation. Perhaps all people weren’t quite so violent as they had been? Whatever. Better not to question his luck.
The boy introduced himself as Romy Müller. Kai had never heard of such a last name in association with a fairy tale, so his initial assumption must be correct. Some minor fairy tale child.
Kai stepped forward so he was no longer pressed against the wall, taking a haughty stance by crossing his arms and lifting his chin. Just because the peasant had let him go didn’t mean he was ready to forgive him quite yet.
“My name is Kai Charming,” he said proudly. “Son of Cinderella.” There were quite a few Charmings, so he felt it necessary to clarify. “And your parentage is…?”

My name is Kai Charming," Romy waited a second, then teasingly remarked “Charming… never heard of em’.” But quickly shook his head as the boy continued "Son of Cinderella… And your parentage is…?” Romy stopped to think for a second. “Does it really matter?” Romy let they’re hand slide through they’re hair again. “It’s not exactly them that are famous. Rather the… how should I put it, ‘curse’? If I can even call it that.” He smirked, “But I suppose you want to know, to which ‘peasant’ I belong to.” He paused, to add dramatic affect “The Nixie of the Mill. My father basically got dragged underwater if you’ve never heard of it.” Romy sneered as the word ‘nixie’ left his mouth. “Don’t worry, I know your moms story.” They said, trying to be humorous.

She tilted her head as a nod. She supposed that was true, to some capacity. Alicia wouldn’t have pushed any further, probably finding a seat far away from them. “That’s really cool, I’ve always wanted to play a musical instrument,” Alicia spoke in a hushed voice, she was still a little embarrassed. “Thanks… but you don’t have to comfort me. If you had been carrying it for someone else, they probably would have been sitting with you. Thank you, though.” She looked over at the person, looking down slightly. Alicia nodded at hearing about the Castleteria food. She had just remembered the fact that she had gone here last year, not that she wanted to admit that she had once again been a complete idiot. “That’s good to hear.”

She made sure to keep a little distance between the two of them as she grabbed her notes as well. “I’ve never skipped before. What was it like, if you don’t mind me asking?” She opened the book to her index, going to her notes from that day. At the very bottom, written in fancy looping text, "Homework: Read a Passage* and Write about it." The book that they were supposed to read from was written underneath. “There, that should be it. You can also borrow my notes if you’d like. I don’t know if you’d be able to read my handwriting… though.”

He set down his phone on the desk before giving Camilla his attention. He had a thin face, and dark eyes similar to hers. “You’re just a little extra, aren’t you, Cam-Can? Yaas, I was on Instagrimm until you showed up. Are you being a troll or do you just stan me? C’mon, which is it?” Something in his voice seemed impatient, and made Camilla feel even more impulsive than usual. Though he seemed friendly-his tone suggested otherwise. Still, he had given her a nickname, a vital step in becoming friends with someone, no? Though she was familiar with some internet slang, she felt a bit unsure as she answered, “Yeah, that’s what they say! But extra people are wayyy more fun!” She stretched out the way, grinning widely at the boy in front of her. “Ooh! I guessed right!” She said happily, rummaging in her chicken-shaped purse for her phone. “Do you want to follow each other? What’s your account name?” She asked brightly-regretting she had forgotten to snag Maya’s-if she had one. “Er… I just stan you!” She answered quickly, smiling. She didn’t know what that meant, but she definitely wasn’t a troll. Trolls were dull, ugly, and disliked-the exact opposite of what she wanted to be. Mary "Mare" Darling

Mare nodded, they could be a little overwhelming at times. But everyone got used to it. Their friendliness was always out of their own kindness. Never something misleading, though they had been known to ask for tiny favours at times. Usually just copying homework or assignments. “Oh,” Mare tilted their head, a flash of curiosity in their eyes, “and who was it that you were expecting? Someone special, maybe?” They teased him, still friendly and jokingly. “'Course kid. Can you fly with them?” They raised their eyebrow, praying for a yes.

Mare pursed their lips, trying to think of a way to help with his anxiety. “Got it. K, close your eyes. Just trust me. Now imagine that you’re in a meadow. All the noise behind you is just… birds. Squawking, perhaps even mocking, but it’s cool. 'Cause the second you walk up to them, they’ll fly away, cowering at the superiority of your wings. And even if some of them puff up their chests, I’ll come in and hit 'em with a newspaper or something,” they paused. “See, nothing to worry about.” The advice was only slightly ridiculous, but good-hearted nonetheless. They smiled as Sora addressed them as Mare, meaning that he had accepted their friendship at least. “So, Sora, where are you heading?”

Fern did not stop chasing Petra, as Petra did not stop running. “I’m so sorry!” Was all Petra heard, the rest jumbled with the chatters of the students around her-the students who hadn’t just knocked off a poor girl’s head. “It’s me!” Petra squeaked back-not wanting Fern to feel bad. it wasn’t her fault Petra was so clumsy.

Fern blinked in confusion at what Petra had said. “What do you mean? You didn’t knock my head off, and even if you did, it’s fine. I was nervous, so I fiddled with my choker, which fell off. On an unrelated note, uhhh…I think we’re roommates. Heh…” Fern said awkwardly, hoping she hadn’t just traumatized her roommate. Yep, great first impression.

Calista Circe

She thought for a moment. Judging by his warning, it was something fairly dangerous. Unless he was exaggerating, yet he hadn’t exaggerated about his eye, so why would he now. Besides, whatever he was hiding had a very high chance of benefiting her. “Well, I don’t know about that. There are plenty of people I wouldn’t want to give my number to. You, however, are not one of those people,” she ended it with a sweet smile, once again. Though she was slightly confused, “You mentioned that this was calming you down. I was just wondered as to why you were less calm five minutes ago.”

Calista supposed she could understand, she was just infuriated at how he wasn’t explaining further. “You’ve made it this far, have you not? Besides, who’s to say that… whatever this is won’t continue once you’re dead?” She didn’t want to give away her cover of being a simple natural remedy buff for something as simple as warning him that sometimes magic is only bound to a host. Once the host is gone, there’s nothing holding said magic back. He closed his eyes, and Calista sighed, slightly annoyed but making no comment.

He nodded, though it was noticeably slightly off. “Yeah, I’m cool. Don’t worry 'bout it,” was all he replied. Keeping it vague and not admitting how he had been taken aback. His eyes went wide, “You live in a forest? Where?” His curiosity had been piqued, all because of one comment about a forest. Needless to say, he didn’t have the best attention span. Unless he was really focused. Though Aodghan didn’t smile in reply, he wasn’t angry. This boy had no way of knowing that the man who had really raised him was also his father’s murderer. “Sounds good,” Aodghan started walking with the flow, making sure that the kid next to him wasn’t going to get knocked over again.

Mei Fa

| Chemistry || Cotton |

Mei had attended both classes, like the good student she was. She was sitting in her chemistry class, waiting for it to start. Until a girl walked in. Now, this was not just any girl, okay. She had white hair, like straight white hair that went with her eyes and skin. The burgundy of the school’s uniform - well most of it - contrasting in a good way, mind you. Mei’s jaw had been dropped as she stared at the girl who had chosen to sit next to her. As the girl asked a question, she coughed, using the distraction to look down at her desk and hope that her raven hair that had just fallen, now covering part of her face, would hide the blush on her cheeks. “Yes, you look… spectacular. 10 out of 10 good job. The chevron really adds to the look,” she spoke, failing miserably at trying to remember what the hairstyle the girl had was called. Her head shot back up, “It’s nice to meet you, too, Cotton. I’m Fa Mei.” She spoke quickly, as she remembered that introductions existed.

A person sat down next to Gayelette. When she gazed upon them, they looked feminine but one could never be too sure. At least nothing masculine come over to her. They were quite beautiful with their done up in a high bun, showing off their round, glossy beige face. “Hello… how are you?”
Gayelette smiled back, before giving them a soft-spoken reply, “Hello. I’m having a boring day so far. How about yourself, sweetie? I’m Gayelette, by the way. Gayelette, of the South.”
