Ok. I have a predicament. I now have an idea for Egyptian Cinderella boy, a kid of Pelè and the daughter of a kitsune. I will do two.

Awe thanks just feel that them and Itsuki would really get along well. Do you agree?

sorry @ you both but please refrain from calling all yōkai demons ^^;
not only are inugamis actually gods/spirits (direct translation of the kanji is god iirc) but also implying japanese folklore creatures like yōkai are demons is… not quite right

Egyptian boy is a go, so the battle is between Pelė kid and Kitsune girl.

Yeah I’m sorry but I didn’t refer to all of them as demons, I called Inu yōkai’s demons because from my knowledge they are dog demons.

I’m sorry tho

Oh shoot. Yeah, I now realize my mistake. I definitely didn’t mean it malevolently.

Kind of they are a hard one to place exactly… I mean they kind of walk the dead/alive, human/immortal line

Phew, alright! That’s good

Thank you!

So undead, yeah it could work with undead since Itsuki hates humans so maybe immortal/undead could work.

ah
well they still aren’t demons, iirc they’re spirits? but not demons
here’s some info about them ^^
and well basically referring to them as demons could have some… unpleasant colonialist implications

Yeah they skirt that line where they are kind of both dead and alive human and inhuman sorry that’s kind of confusing

Oops, thanks for telling me! I’ll refer to them as dog spirits from now on!!!

thanks! ^^

Yeah, they’re spirits. I think demon means it’s malevolent, and not all are.

yeah
also calling them demons is erasing a part of japanese folklore as they do have demons of their own (oni) and slapping another definition of demon on top of what they believe yaknow?

What constitutes as a demon? Is it just a malevolent creature, or is there more to it?

depends on who you’re asking
varies depending on culture and religion
