I watch a little bit of anime and the openings are always really cool. This a thread for sharing your favourite anime openings. (and no, this doesn’t make you a weeb)
Mine are either the Fairy Tail opening or the Ouran High School Host Club opening.
Ouran does have a pretty good opening but I actually really like death prade’s opening a lot. I havent watched Fairytale so I dont know about that one but another good opening is the opening to free

I agree a 100% with that the first season had a very good and strong opening and they kind if went down hill from there.

Best anime opening period. This show is amazing, this opening is amazing, this song is amazing. God, that shot where it pans around the building is so gorgeous I can’t
I love this opening, though both openings for Shield Hero are amazing, the songs are absolute bangers too - for what turned out to be a surprisingly good show
My favourite Bleach opening - this is probably the most hype anime opening ever made. The way Aizen just dominates the screen for the start of the chorus is so representative of the way he wipes the floor with the entire cast during this specific arc of the show, and the montage of time rushing backwards to represent Ichigo’s sacrifice for using the Final Getsuga never fails to make my arms break out in goosebumps every time
Since I put my favourite Bleach opening, it’s only fair I put my favourite Naruto one too. The imagery of Japanese wishing ceremonies and Naruto being the one to answer everyone’s hopes is strong imagery, and Madara taking on the strongest characters we know of so far is cool action, but what always gets me is that fistbump between Naruto and Kurama - the Ninetailed fox at the end. They see each other, abandoned and crying and realise they have tons in common, allowing them to fight together against Madara. It’s really touching!

I don’t blame her. Again is easily the most beautiful, emotional and meaningful anime opening ever. If you haven’t seen FMA: Brotherhood you owe it to yourself and everyone around you to do it 
This is still one of the only openings in history that managed to foreshadow plot beats cleverly more than 60 episodes in advance without spoiling anything. And the visual storytelling at the start makes me cry for… Reasons
