Grammar is really important in my opinion, if they constantly make mistakes it just annoys me and I can’t enjoy the story anymore, however if there are a few smaller ones I don’t mind that much even though I rather not see any at all.
I’m opening this because we have plenty of new people to discuss grammar with!

Yes, it’s important. If there’s too many mistakes (big ones) then I’ll probably lose interest quickly.

Me too! If someone can’t even proofread the grammar, what hope should I have for the plot?!

If a plot is good, I can deal with more grammar issues. If the plot is ok, then the grammar better be good.
I can handle simple grammar and punctuation errors, there can even be many, as long as it is still readable. If it’s not readable I won’t read it.

I’m kind of a grammar freak but in English I kind of lost it with time, a few years ago I probably had a lot less grammatical mistakes and mistakes in general but my brain is dying 
But in Hebrew I’m a grammatical expert and freak and people hate me for it because I correct them literally all the time haha

Sometimes it bugs me when every sentence is grammatically incorrect but it can be easy to ignore if it’s just every now and then. But yeah it is annoying ig because it just breaks the realism because usually people aren’t THAT grammatically incorrect when speaking.
I think that most stories have minor grammar mistakes that are pretty common for speech, and I don’t really mind those. I can’t stand a lack of punctuation, though, it just bothers me so much.
If the grammar is bad enough, I won’t read the story, even if it’s good, because it can just get too hard to read. Saying English isn’t your native language isn’t an excuse, there are tons of grammar checking programs and proofreaders you can try.

Yeah, it’s important to me at least. I get it if there are a few mistakes here and there in an episode then I won’t say anything since. I’ve made them as well when I write on episode plus I’ve done this many times on here too. The only time it really bothers me if it’s in a certain context plus the word that is spelled or use wrongly also gets to me. I’m going to say this much if all of your episodes or stories are bogged down with mistakes in almost every paragraph/scene then yeah I’m going to stop reading the story.

I‘ll probably stop reading if the grammar is bad. Idk… but then I think the author hasn’t put that much effort in that story.
