Pfft, I got suspended for “Creating Spam Threads” and hell I didnt even post up spam thread. Pfft, that team better get their sh_t together, and yeah everyone was shocked too. But I aint staying there for long.

I still have an account there, but I haven’t checked that forum in ages.
My username is actually my real name— very uncreative, I know.

I’m genuinely curious as to why, though, because most users have had a very negative experience there.

I’m on forums, but I’m not even that active anymore because some people are so toxic and almost every thread becomes an argument. :unamused: :roll_eyes:

But I’d appreciate it if people didn’t try to make rival forums. This place means a hell of a lot to me and it took us a long time to get to this point. I’m hoping I’ll soon be able to support myself using the website and it would really hinder that.

Plus, it’s better to have one awesome community with loads of people than multiple divided ones. The reason I created this place originally wasn’t to rival Episode. I was already giving out helpful information to Episode writers and I wanted people to have a place to chat to me and ask questions and stuff. But then they platform banned me and I thought “screw it”.

I think the difference here is that I’m willing to change and adapt and I always listen to the users. As long as changes are reasonable and within my abilities, I do what I can. Episode tends to ignore its users. It took them a year after we had dark mode to get it, when it was one of the first things we had here xD
