What do you mean?
Yes, Iâve been to a church before. And choco means if theyâre given permission to, they can. Right @liyahsdiamond? Iâve been to a Church before. They invited my mother.
I guess you can but it depends on the Muslims decision.
Iâm assuming itâs also, like, if youâre not going there to pray to Jesus
Yeah Iâm allowed in churches too >.<
Synagogues and mosques too. Been in all of them, theyâre all usually very nice too
Yes, Iâve been in a church while on my college trip
Of course youâre allowed There arenât many mainstream religions that have a problem with people from outside of the religion joining in! As long as they respect the customs. But there are some religions that bar their own members from participating in other religious communities
You canât forget about menstruation. Muslim women arenât allowed to do these things while theyâre on their period:
- Pray
- Touch the quran (some read the Quran but wear gloves but I honestly donât think itâs a good idea because youâre still unclean)
- Fast
- Enter the mosque (some women still do that but still, I think itâs unclean)
BumpâŚ
SoâŚI really hope Iâm not being disrespectful, as that is not my intention
Muslims are not allowed to dateâŚright? But theyâre expected to marryâŚright? My question isâŚHow can you marry someone if you havenât dated them?
Again, really not trying to be disrespectful, just legit curious
Nope. We canât date. (Although I donât know how on earth getting married would even work⌠Without dating⌠You just ask??)
Exactly!
A lot of Muslim marriages I came across end so quickly because they never show any chemistry.
I think we should be able to date but without premarital sex (personal preference)
One word: Courtships. If the person is young, their parents usually set them up with someone for the future or make them wait till their 18. However, there are Muslims out there like me that are willing to date.
added religion tag
Bump
what is a good comback to say to someone who says wearing a hijab is stupid?
also anyone interested in reading my story and tell me if I portray my Muslim character wrong.
I really donât know.
oh okay.
A little misconception people make is that we all have to wear long sleeves all the time. As I always say, It will depend on the individual, denomination, and where theyâre from.
