I’m going to really challenge myself and do all four
Well, three because the fourth doesn’t apply in my case—but still.
I’ve got too much time on my hands good lord.
~ Character Name ~
Arianell “Ari” Okoye
Character Questions #1
1. Favourite colour?
Red, it compliments her skin tone well.
2. Favourite food?
She loves poutine, adores it, but can’t have it as often as she’d like because she wants to maintain her figure.
3. Biggest fear?
She’s extremely claustrophobic. She cannot stand to be in one place for too long or to be in a tight, small place.
4. Fondest memory?
She and her dad took a trip to the Dominican Republic, and it was one of the few trips she took with him when he wasn’t preoccupied with work or trying to run away from his fatherly duties. It was her seventh birthday, and he did everything she wanted him to do; spend time with her.
5. Worst memory?
Tied in with a secret soo can’t reveal.
6. What do they like most about themselves?
She thinks herself to be very independent, which she thinks is a positive quality. Ari likes that she can be by herself for hours at a time and be fine.
7. What do they like least about themselves?
Ari hates how small her boobs are. Since her dad won’t agree to get her a boob job at seventeen (one of the few restrictions he’s ever given her), Ari is not-so patiently waiting for the approach of her eighteenth birthday so she can use her dad’s money to fund her boob job—legally.
8. Sexuality?
Ari is bisexual.
9. Parents’ names?
Her dad’s name is Alexander Okoye and her mother’s name is Julia García López.
10. Biggest motivation in the story?
She wants to find out as much about her mother’s life growing up in Spain as possible. She wants to experience life in Spain for herself, and she wants to feel connected to her late mother. And other things I also shouldn’t say.
11. What makes them cry?
She cries very rarely. Ari gets angry before she starts to cry. The last time she’s ever cried was when her father left her by herself for a month for the first time, and that was when she was five.
12. What makes them really angry?
She absolutely hates when people act like they know everything about her from one conversation. Ari also hates people who take advantage of others, or people who like to watch others suffer.
13. Favourite person?
Herself.
14. Biggest flaw?
Ari has a tendency to run away from her problems.
15. Biggest struggle in the story?
Can’t say.
16. Most annoying quality?
She acts like she’s better than people who are less fortunate than her.
17. Most endearing quality?
She is a great person to go and have fun with.
18. What makes them different/special?
Ari can turn any boring-ass party into the event of the century.
19. What purpose do they serve in the story?
Um. Well it’s a roleplay. Sooo lmao idk.
20. Why did you write them?
Because she seemed like she’d be a good character for Elite XOXO.
Object + Emotion Exercise
Object 12
An old, rusted sword.
Emotion 19
Nausea.
It was a summer day in Toronto, the best kind too. It was warm enough to wear shorts, but the cool breeze kept you from overheating. Everyone was taking advantage of the perfect day; there was a seemingly endless stretch of people on the sidewalk, as well as cars on the road, and the noise of the commuters wafted through Ari’s open window in her bedroom. It was a perfect to be outside, which was why it made no sense for Arianell Okoye, World’s Hardest Partier, to be staying inside on a day like this. If it was up to her, she wouldn’t be. She had made a bunch of plans for today, and she was devastated that she had to cancel nearly every one because her stomach had been turning all morning. Even now, as she lay curled up in her grand queen sized bed, her nausea had not stopped. She had taken Advil earlier in the morning to try and calm the storm in her belly, but it had done nothing to help. Ari had already fired all the cooks this morning whilst she was on her rampage, but she still felt awful. She was beginning to think something else was causing her discomfort.
Ari has always had a sensitive sense of smell; every good smell was that much amplified to her, as well as every bad smell. She had been known to get awful nausea because of a bad smell, but nothing as prolonged as this. Even now she could still smell that awful smell in her room, and despite her opening the window, it was still there—though not as evidently as before. Her nausea settled enough to allow her to get up from the fetal position she was in, and crawl off of her bed. Then, she got to work, throwing everything out of her closet as she went on her rampage to find the source of the smell. She threw every meticulously arranged item of clothing on the floor, and after her closet had been turned upside down, she left the mess and went through every other bedroom on the upper floor of her mansion. About half an hour later, one of her maids tentatively came to check on the racket she’d been making.
“Um, Miss. Arianell? What exactly… is, um, going on? Do you need assistance?”
Ari’s head snapped up, her hair a mess and having a crazed look in her eyes. “Do I need help?” she mocked the young maid, slowly getting to her feet. “Of course I need help, I’ve only been looking—by myself—for about an hour or so! My God, what the hell is the point of having hired help if none of you help!” She huffed, walking back into the closet to go through her dad’s large collection of souvenirs. Ari looked back at the maid, who was just standing at the walk-in closet’s entrance with a blank look on her face. “Well, what are you doing standing there for?! Help me! I want every single staff in this house to search through this whole house until we find what the fuck is causing that awful smell. And God help me, if no one finds it within the hour, all of you are fired!!” With those words, the maid finally snapped back into it and scurried away, knowing that her boss wasn’t one to make empty threats.
So everyone in her house that day searched through every room and every single counter space for the source of a smell that no one really smelled except for Arianell. The maids all thought it was a pointless search, but when one of the new ones stumbled across a box containing an old, rusted sword in the attic which was producing a truly foul smell, they were all overjoyed. When the maid presented it to Ari, she merely said, “EW GOD, get it OUT of my face. BURN IT, for God’s sake.” But the maid would forever revel in the fact that she had saved hers and all of the other maids’ jobs.
Scenario Exercise
Scene 9
After a weird curse that was placed on them, the character is now able to speak to ghosts… and demons.
Ari would probably take advantage of her curse, she’d find some way to use it to her benefit. She likes to have information on people in case she ever needs to blackmail them to get something she wants, so talking to their dead close friends and demons might help her more than she would immediately think. In the scene, her first scene with this curse, she’d want to figure out all she can do with this curse; its limitations, its downside—those kind of things.
- Ari discovers she’s been cursed by a beggar who turned out to be a witch after she was incredibly rude to her. The curse caused Ari to be haunted by the voices of ghosts and demons, all day every day. At first, Ari thinks that this curse is the worst thing that ever happened to her, and she works to get the witch to remove it. She bribes the witch, offers her vast sums of money, large vacation homes, but nothing sways the witch.
- After Ari comes to terms with the fact that the witch will not revoke the curse, she decides to roll with it. She annoys the hell out of the ghosts so that their constant chatter diminishes, although does not completely go away. The demons will always haunt her, but she uses them for her own gain too. On her best days, she doesn’t hear any demons—but those days are few and far in between.
- Perhaps she spends years with the voices before she finally changes her behaviour. Eventually, she’ll realize that she was cursed because of the way she acts towards the people—but it’s not for sure that she’d change because of it. Perhaps temporarily, to get herself freed from the curse, but it’s likely she’d just go back to her old ways after she got what she wanted.
Is her name pronounced airy or arry?
It’s pronounced arry. Sort of like awry, or actually well, at least the ‘a’ sound in awry is the same as the ‘a’ sound in Ari’s name.
I get it haha
Well, why not?
Name: Avishai (Shai) Nagauker (he’s one of the main cast, but not the first main character)
Green and purple
Potato bourekas with apricot jam.
He’s afraid of chickens and cats.
When he got that pillow of his, which he claims it to be his “luck” pillow (or “a-good-sleeping” pillow that prevent nightmares).
Won’t be revealed
His being mixed (he’s half Indian, half Morrocan)
His allergy to nuts.
Bisexual
Mother: Osnat, father: David (da-vee-d. I’m saying how to pronounce it, because his name should be pronounced in Hebrew, not in English)
To find someone close to him who disappeared. But first, his biggest motivation is discovering the answer to mystery.
When he’s being reminisced of something that happened to him in the past (which I won’t reveal now)
When someone wakes him up, no matter how long he’s sleeping. And when he hears or reminds the name of Liron, someone whom he really hates (Liron is known as the “Athletic Hunk”).
His parents, sister and best friends.
He can be a total idiot towards whoever wakes him up (sometimes, it can take him a week 'till he forget it to whoever woke him up)
Dealing with things that happened during the story and finding true freedom in his heart.
Not always taking things seriously
Even though he can be a little selfish, he’s already willing to help people he cares about, and he knows how to cheer people up.
Not a lot. Mainly being someone who knows how to look at things and situations positively. Even though he can be such an idiot and childish, he knows how to make people happy in hard times and tries his best to help.
He has a mission to finish with his friends.
Well, in the story which he’ll appear in, I wanted the story to have a character who has a weird and idiotic perosnality and together with it the character knows how to cheer the other main characters up (his friends) when it’s needed. He’s always needed in the bunch (the main characters, including him are one bunch)
I know, I know. The character isn’t something…
I’m going to do Arvia because she is my MC

What made you choose green?
Arvia, object 17 emotion 5.
Arvia eyed up the milk carton with fear. Whatever was inside… it wouldn’t be pretty. She circled around it, wary of the dust that covered the carton and the table it sat on inside of her uncles old house.
Arvia was afraid of the smell. She didn’t even have to open it, merely being within 10 metres let the stench creep up your nose.
Arvia started regretting coming down here. She should have left the house alone - she should have left everything when… when she had the… the chance… suddenly, Arvia wasn’t looking at the carton. She was looming at the floor as it looked infront of her, then all went black.
Arvia is someone who tries to look at the positive, and she is full of life. Green reminds me of life and joy, which I think resembles Arvia spirit well.
Okay, here I go…
Arvia awoke with a headache, she sat up in bed, with her head spinning through the whirlwind that was last night. Arvia had been dancing… with Atlanta. Then they had gone to drink… and that’s where everything went foggy.
Her phone bleeped with a new message, and she opened it to see a pic from her best friend who was back in Edinburgh.
It was a picture of her beside a pool with some guy, both in swimming wear.
Arvia read the text that was attached. “Guess who scored themselves a hottie! ”
Arvia’s heart fluttered, and she slightly lost her breath. But it wasn’t the guy, it was her friend… how had she not noticed how hot she was?!
Lucy had had an amazing night, and now she was with her crush - in an actual freezing pool! She couldn’t not share this moment with her best friend - even if they lived so far apart they only saw each other a couple times a year.
Omg Girl, no you didn’t!
I loved reading this.
Please, name the story this character was in
Bruh, this is amazing!
