Um…

Why is poison ivy anywhere near your nether regions?

Why did you say that? That just reminded me of “HE F*CKED ME, WITH A TOOTHBRUSH”

if you know, you know.

It’s only available in Australia right now.

As for me, I’m super excited for the app! No censored swear words, some steamy scenes in well-written stories, no more “what about the children”-ing prudishness (haha jk, it’s the episode community ), sign me up!

Ain’t that the truth!

A thousand times this!

Yeah, I’d bet that all the official stories will be romance since that’s what they’ve focused on even in the main app, but hopefully we’ll get great community stories in other genres when they open it up!!!

Hahaha so true. I’m more excited about the gore in horror stories!

But I agree that children should stay away from these adult fiction. I’d cringe if I see a 6 year old read an erotic fiction.

My aunt has been addicted to Episode and I always have to make sure that no one that is a minor touches the Episode app.

I have it.
At the moment there’s a grand total of 8 stories. 4 are stories from community authors that have now been featured (one just showed up for me today).
While a couple aren’t classified as romance, that’s definitely the focus. (The new one is “action” but I think it’s a gang love story triangle lol.)

There seems to be a couple versions of the app. I have My First Everything but some people have In My Bed!!!, neither of which should have made the cut IMO because even if there’s sex in the story, the actual writing is extremely immature.

Episode/Ivy also seems a bit… lost at how to target their new demographic judging by the app’s description. It’s childish and immature and it actually sounds like they’re targeting teenagers rather than an adult audience.
For comparison, look at Chapters description which, IMO, is much better.

In saying that, I think a mature app is a good idea. I will write there when it comes out. The current story I’m working on will likely go on both apps and I plan on bringing over one of my existing stories (Maternal Instincts) because I’d really like to write a prequel for that, but I haven’t been able to because it would have violated so many guidelines lol.
I’m curious to see if the original app “dies out” when the new app is fully implemented though or if the new app becomes trashy-erotica dominated (I have nothing against erotica, I mean trashy in the sense of “he touched my sigh” on steroids), which could keep a lot of people away :see_no_evil:
