I’m not a huge fan of American Horror Story, but I liked the 1984 season a lot.

If you like The Shining did you watch doctor sleep? It isn’t really SCARY but it was interesting.

Hellooo.

I’m here looking to see if there is actually anything I haven’t seen!
I haven’t watched anything good in so long!

A couple I’ve watched this past week that I didn’t hate:

Ready or Not. My boyfriend disliked, it but I liked it.
The Lodge… was okay. An interesting idea.
The Killing of a Sacred Deer. I wouldn’t call this horror even though that’s what IMDB calls it, but it’s weird and I liked it. (Slow though.)

It’s so hard to find scary movies anymore but two that kinda creeped me out are Lights Out and It Follows.

Horror can be really hard to find the good stuff with! It’s a difficult genre to really get in all honesty. I will actually give those ones you listed a try actually! I haven’t seen them, so that sounds like fun to me!

Haunting of Hill House season 2 is coming soon, to be fair! I’m very excited for that :eyes:

Those two are excellent, I adored It Follows

The three I said aren’t amazing! I probably was most entertained by ready or not because it was fast paced and a tad gory. The other two are both slow, but I like slow sometimes.

I love slow

Horror films that have a slow build-up are the best to me!

Well, if you watch them, let me know haha.

I definitely will :eyes:

i didn’t because i was kinda disappointed in the movies. the shining is nice alone, but the plot line is too much changed for a sequel if you ask me.

Can we talk about horror movies on here in general as well or would I have to make a new topic on that if I want to do so? :eyes:

Alright then thank you for the link :eyes:

Maybe try expanding your horizon by watching more foreign films and-or lesser known indie films . Or look into horror sub-genre you might have not been very familiar with before :eyes:

Definitely different but still worth watching.

Definitely a classic, and must see, is Scream. Well all the scream movies really, on principle. I kinda find the third one is a tad creepier I think it’s the film set just the vibe is weirder.
Also, Wolf Creek and My Little Eye, I can’t remember much about those as I was maybe 10 when I saw them. (Blaming my sister’s for that, although I watched Scream before that lol)
I know what you did last summer
The Grudge
Freddie Vs Jason
Not much of a horror fan. But these are ones I remember watching.
