Let's talk about horror movies!

Basically it’s like a ghost game thing you do at home  but it’s kinda ritualistic like you need specific things and you need to do it at a specific time in order for the game to actually happen. I’ve never tried it because I don’t want to risk the midnight man actually coming for me but I would be interested in watching that series if I had Hulu.

anything made by stephen king’s books. my personal favourites are the shining and carrie. sweeney todd is a thriller/horror musical — i’m not big fan of musicals but this one blew me away.

She has already watched most of the shows mention on here. I’ve already recommended these two but they are technically horror shows which are Carnival Row and The Alienist. Also, there is the The Outsider show on Amazon too. Also, there are three animes that are basically horror shows that you might like Beserker, Goblin Slayer, and Devil Man Crybaby.

Yes, love The Shining and the original IT, and the Conjuring is okay. I have seen the others but don’t remember enough about them to comment.

Also, it has thriller aspects and is a really good film, I would recommend Children of Men!

It’s good.

I haven’t seen the original and I haven’t seen IT 2, but I’ve watched a ton of comparison videos lol.

I like it, because it’s more of a mystery thing and not as scary as some of the others hehe.

Orphan is my favorite. :dizzy: I haven’t seen Human Centipede more than the trailer… it looked horrifying!

Interesting  should check it out

Having watched both movies I can say that those aren’t really horror they fall more under the thriller/crime genre :eyes:

You NEED to see the original one. You do!

Yes, definitely agree.

Yes, DO!

Yes, I agree. I much prefer thrillers 'cause they usually have much better stories than ones in the horror genre, in my opinion.

Love this list!

The classic films list you have is amazing! Plus, I love the SAW franchise too.

Never been a fan of saw. I know everyone tells me there is a story line that goes throughout the series, but I’ve never cared for them. To me they are pointless gore.

All of those are great films!

In order to avoid nightmares, I counter my horror by watching something “happy” immediately afterwards. Never had nightmares since I’ve started that as kid.

So excited for the 2nd season! Supposedly going to have more terror than the first!
