Honestly, I can’t say he wouldn’t prefer being around Anna, or Dan, or Dori, or all three at the same time.
He didn’t care what anyone else thought. He didn’t care about anything but Jess and Aria. He couldn’t just let them go.
He’s not a stranger by his own choice…

It took a lot of years for Kai to completely go off on his father…
