Because when I applied to university, I applied and was accepted to the Bachelor of Arts program.

Some majors are direct entry, but for the most part, first year is a general year where you can take whatever courses you want and then at the end of the year you decide if you want to do a major and declare what it will be

that’s so cool tho…
how does that work
if that was a thing here woah
still, I can’t understand how can things work like that

The US might be different, but that’s how most Canadian universities do it

It just lets you take a wider range of classes in first year

(For example, I’m taking film, linguistics, drama, French and Japanese)

That’s very interesting :pensive:

You take exploratory studies

Or change your major later

Pretty much the same here

You still have to choose

But 1st year classes are the same so it’s easy to switch

Well we don’t need to adopt you since you’re moving to Colorado

Well
you pick from idk how many we have… 8 colleges and pick what degree you want
I wanted to go to the academy of arts and you can’t go if you don’t pick what you want to study and get your degree in so I picked interior design and now that’s all I do
simple as that

for 4 months only :sob:
