If only Laurel thought it was that simple
booooo laurel
she could make it that easy
Laurel doesn’t do much to make her life easier unfortunately
Hey @Ouijaloveletters do you have any ideas for where this interaction between Artemis and Bree is going to go? Because right now its really just small talk… and I don’t know how to help the interaction have more meaning than just basic small talk.
Hmmm, maybe Artemis’s mom calls her, and she starts yelling through the phone, so after she hangs up, a conversation about toxic family starts? Bree could help her stand up to her family.
AND WHY NOT
you see where it says that LAUREL found herself warming up to him?
HUH
I don’t know that Bree would be the best for that.
Bree wouldn’t have much to say for a conversation about toxic family. Mostly along the lines of “Yikes that sucks that you have to deal with a sucky family while I think mine’s pretty great” and I feel like Bree wouldn’t necessarily want to push herself into family drama, even if Artemis had already brought up her cousin. Plus, if Artemis got a phone call I feel like Bree would take that as her cue to leave unless Artemis specifically told her to stay.
Which if that’s Artemis’s personality to start up a conversion with a stranger who was ready to go on about her day and tell her all about her family and ask for help or advice, then fine, but I don’t know that it would make sense from Bree’s point of view. Cause in Bree’s view at this point, Artemis is still a stranger, even if she recognizes her from school, so she’s not really invested in Artemis’s life if that makes sense.
Laurel is too much like her parents were at her age.
They certainly didn’t make their lives easier back then
