It’s weird with Anna because while Anna wants Jess to feel her pain, Anna still loves her sister deep down
It’s because of how much she loves her sister that she was so hurt by what Jess did
because at the end of the day, their parents did not care about them, and Anna lost the one person that did treat her like she mattered
Though I’m sure there are worlds where Anna came with Jess and things were okay on that front

Ok just by being premature then.
I don’t remember if I ever figured out exactly how premature she was, but she was probably born about 2-ish months early. Maybe a bit earlier than that.
But for her it’s in part because of her bio mom being an addict… and generally not having done the best to take care of her while pregnant…

Cause her bio mom being an addict did factor into her kidney issues… which caused her death…
