I was thinking (and this is just me using med knowledge). She got some kind of virus/ Coxsackie or something that developed into dilated cardiomyopathy leading to left heart failure. They likely gave her medication to increase her systolic function (dobutamine, and furosomide for backed up fluid) but she developed a fatal v fib sometime over the next few weeks
Either that or they tried medication and her ejection fraction didn’t increase enough so that’s possible?

A heart attack (or myocardial infarction) is specifically when a blood clot is blocking blood in the heart itself (the heart muscles can’t get oxygen).
Left heart failure is when the left heart ;(the part that pumps blood to the rest of the body) isn’t working as well so your organs aren’t getting oxygenation and you have multi organ failure
