So, my parents got me Disney+ recently and I found WoWP and started binging it. I wanted to make a similar Rp on here and see if it was popular first. The ideas I had were:

• Have everyone be one big family and compete for the full wizard powers.

• Divide everyone up into different families and make a “Tri-wizard Tournament” type to determine who the final three wizards are from each family.

• To possibly use the Harry Potter wizard world map for the WoWP wizard world (Except Hogwarts would be Wiztech) because it looks like we don’t see much of the wizard world in the series.

Thoughts? I am also looking for someone to manage it, I’m just an idea guy.

The schools of Amat and Deus has lived in toil for years.

In the school Amat they played with magic of the central elements: Fire, Water, Air, Earth, Sun and Moon. They consider themselves the servants of the elements and exist to keep the balance of them, and because of such while they have an affiliation with one element they can perform the spells of the others with counterweights.

Meanwhile in the school of Deus they consider themselves the rulers of the elements and as such they’ve divided them into twenty. They exist to bend the elements to their will and use it to further their goals in the world. Unlike the school of Amat, they bind themselves to the magic which they are affiliated with, preventing the use of any other spell or magic with or without counterweights.

After a normal school day in which they went to sleep in a normal fashion, they awaken in a bare room. Trapped in a unfamiliar place where they are unable to leave and are guarded by wardens. They have to explore and find out what’s the cause of this situation and if both sides can get along to get through this situation.

For everyone who’s seen my Adventures with Dungeons and Dragons RP around and wondering what that was about, wonder no more! It is being revamped currently and we will all be starting a new adventure shortly!

A technical disclaimer–this will be using the D&D 5e rules, although they will be loosely applied based on my own terrible memory and what makes sense for RPing purposes. It will not be combat-heavy, however this will mean that character creation will be annoying, and the RP will be more rules-oriented in that way than others. Your characters can try to do pretty much everything, but they may not succeed. That’s the fun of it!

Now for all those of you who actually care about the plot:

Two towns have been feuding for almost as long as they’ve existed. There’s a rare magical artifact hiding in the ancient labyrinth between the two towns, and they both claim that they should gain control of the items inside. Unfortunately, neither of the towns have enough strong adventurers to actually investigate the labyrinth themselves, and most of the villagers try to avoid the labyrinth at all costs, believing that it’s cursed. Their conflict is spreading, and the feud is starting to affect trade and violence between the towns is at an all-time high. While no one’s forcing you to do anything, perhaps investigating that labyrinth and searching for the treasure inside will help end the feud while still getting some nifty rewards for yourself in the process.

Married at first sight

In this experiment a minimum of 10 and maximum of 20 singles will get matched based on science. However, the first time they will see each other is at the isle, ready to say I do to a complete stranger.

After they get married a fabulous honeymoon is awaiting them. Will they be able to connect or was science wrong? If they make it through the honeymoon a new stage is awaiting them, where they live together. All the couples in the same apartment complex, free to go out or see other couples. Weekly dinners with the whole group and commitment ceremonies, in which they decide whether to continue another week or leave the experiment. Will love be found and the marriages grow into a strong relationship, or will it end in drama and heartbreak?

Some cultures believe birthmarks are good and can bring you luck and happiness; others say it’s a bad sign of where you were killed in a previous life. And those in Salem? Well, they believed it was a sign of magic, a sign of witchcraft. Only two of those of those are true for these teens.

Magic, seasons, astronomy, and numbers have all had a correlation throughout lore and superstition. Some of those who are marked have begun experiencing latent magical abilities or have shown to have knowledge of ancient crafts from long ago. There is an ancient law in magic that a warlock or witch must return to a place of power, by midnight on the 13th of All Hallows Eve. In the US, that place is Salem, a place they’re drawn to. If they don’t, their powers will disappear and they will be normal.

There’s a plot to revive the horrors of Salem and spread them all around the world, to fill mortals with fear and paranoia until they destroy themselves. What will you decide: revenge for your ancestors, or to stop the coming threat with belief people have changed for the better?

Space RP with no title yet…

In the 23rd century, everyone at some point wonders what it would be like to live and work on a starship. Some eventually choose to join Spacefleet. When envisioning working on a starship, roles such as the captain or first officer, or the head of a department come to mind, but few on the ship have those titles and the responsibilities that come with them. Most on the ship are civilians, or those in the lower positions on the crew. You have to work your way up the ladder if you want to be in charge and have the recognition.

On a starship, anything can happen. It is hard to predict what crisis could occur on the ship, what planet you could be sent to, or what species (friendly or not) you could encounter.

Basically this RP will focus on the regular crew and civilians (not the large roles like the captain and such) on a starship. Most will be human, but there will also be humanoid aliens as well on the crew. Anyone will be able to submit an alien species (allies to Spacefleet, or enemies) of their own creation. Welcome to Illyria. The smallest country in Europe… and also the host country for the Secret Society of Second-born Royals. You thought royal blood flowing through your veins made you special? Guess again! I’ll give you a hint…it’s in your jeans.

(This idea was not mine at all. I borrowed some of the elements from the Disney+ original movie. It’s a pretty good movie I recommend you watch it. None of the plot will be spoiled in this Rp.)

So, you’re a second-born royal, huh? Part of the royal family but not on the throne, yet everyone has certain duties responsibilities, expectations of you. You probably think you’re useless, that you’ll never be King or Queen, or Emperor/Empress. I could go on, but the point is…you’re not useless. You ever wonder why there’s no more assassinations on the news or reports of mass famine, in some of these countries? That’s all because of second-born royals, your genes and your genes alone grant you one unimaginable power, as if Destiny is, well, giving you a destiny. Your power is uniquely your own, no other second-born royal will have the same power. When your latent power becomes active, you will be taught to use them responsibly…in summer school.

That’s right, you heard me, summer school. Each of you have received a letter that brought you here. You may think it’s because of that wild party you threw in school, or your grades, or even extra credit. You’d be wrong, it’s a cover for your families, so you can train with us and eventually, if you’re chosen, become part of the Society. However, if you fail, you will be stripped of your power, your memory will be modified and you will return to your life as a normal royal. No pressure!

What began as a simple invitation to dinner hosted by a family of billionaires became more than anyone expected. Each person invited needed something which their gracious host could provide them. Each went in, told that with dinner would come a game, and the winner of said game would walk away with everything they needed and more. However, not one them knew what was in store for the dinner party and what the game truly was. Little did anyone know that the dinner was only a small part of the horrors brought on by the family.

Alright, so the base of this RP is inspired by a movie, but I’ve changed things around, added a few things, to where depending on the interest/success of the RP, there can easily be more, including another RP, which will tie in with this.
But for in this RP, it will focus on a group (I can make it 2 groups if there’s that much interest) of characters who have all come to this dinner because they need something, money, certain connections the family has, etc. The RP will begin just prior to the dinner beginning so the characters can get to know each other. Then soon after the dinner starts, the game of Would You Rather will begin, which will quickly turn dark. As the game/RP goes on, characters will be “removed” from the dinner until there is a winner. Of course, they don’t have to fall in line with the rules set forth by the host, but there will be consequences for them.

The sparkling, urban metropolis of Las Levendas may be one of the worst places on Earth to live. Somehow, despite living in a world of magic and fantasy, the citizens of this once-great city have become used to the terrible living conditions of their home. Warring crime clans like the Moors Gang tear up the ghetto with their violence and magic-enhanced weapons. The local police force is at odds with a shrinking budget and a growing crime rate.

Then suddenly, just when it seems like things can’t get any worse, people start dissappeering. Women, Children, and the elderly are all being lured away or violently kinapped by… someone. The citizens of Las Levendas must now finally band together in order to save their city from the forces of dark magic. But will behind-the-scenes corruption destroy the city forever?

Story:
It’s the year 2573 and despite the fact that the Earth has not developed much in recent years, one revolutionary change has occurred: The Hypnos 25W, a spaceship the size of a city travelling around the universe. Selected people live on this ship, each excelling in a skill that will contribute to the future and well-being of humanity. once every 100 years, this ship returns to Earth for the release of finds and the collection and delivery of people who may or may not be fit for the ship.

It is now your time to step on board and show that you belong to the new generation of humans. You will learn at Stoneshire Academy, the elite school for developing and raising future leaders and developers. You will work with Sherington Enterprise, the company responsible for the development and creation of the OXT 97H, Hypnos 25W, and will be encouraged to come up with new inventions. Finally, you will train with Wildingham, the organization that strives for the safety of everyone on the ship.

So, I’ve got this idea, and I’m still working out a couple parts of it, but I wanna see what you guys think. And I’ve got another idea (or maybe a couple) that I’m working on too, and i hope to post the other idea I’m working here within a day or so.

After The End

What began as a town that a few people wound up stranded in, turned to something more, as the dead began to rise. A community came together, from all different walks of life before, they all had the same goal. Survive. Days turned to weeks, months, and finally years since the so called end of the world began, but despite every challenge the group faced, they survived, and began to thrive.

Over time, the group grew in number, from newcomers finding their way to the group, and from children being born. The group grew stronger and safer, so now there can be a new generation. The generation of those without the memories of the world their parents once knew. A generation who has only ever known a world filled with the undead.

Basically this RP will focus on a large group of survivors in a zombie apocalypse, about 18 years after it began, so for characters in their teens-20s, all they really know is this world they’ve grown up in. Though I also encourage characters that are older, that remember how things were before.
Throughout the RP there will be options for scavenging missions and other reasons for characters to break into smaller groups away from the main group.
Just remember, due to being a zombie apocalypse RP, there is a chance of characters dying.

Final Destination

What was thought to be normal day that began like any other, suddenly took an unfortunate turn. An accident occurred, resulting in mass casualties. Everyone involved died. That is, except for a select few who were warned by one of the group. That person somehow knew what was about to happen, saying that they saw it happen, and saw everyone die.

Thanks to that one person, some survived. Time went on, and soon enough, one of the survivors died in a freak accident, then another, as they began to uncover clues telling them how they were going to die this time. They all survived an event that was meant to kill them. They changed Death’s design, but Death always finds a way.

So this will take place beginning with a mass casualty event (I have a few ideas, but haven’t decided on which yet) killing the characters, which turns out to be a character seeing a vision of what was about to happen, allowing the characters to avoid dying in the real event.
Then, the characters will begin to receive hints as to how the next character on the list will die, so they can attempt to save each other.
That character will be chosen at random along with the order in which the characters die.
There will be a chance for a few characters to survive in the end, but most will die.

You and some other people have decided to head to Misty Meadows, a remote place deep in a valley of the Hamnach Mountains. This place is known for its silence and their mysterious but beautiful fog banks. The spa is made as a piece of land where people go for a long time to find themselves again for whatever reason.

In fact, the place is so remote and hidden that no one knows exactly where it is and that a van from the resort itself is the only one going there.

Rumours has it that the drivers are being trained to blindly drive through the fog, making them the only ones to arrive safely.

However, while you are driving in the van, something goes wrong and the van ends up off the road.

When you come to, everyone except the driver has survived the accident.

But now you have the following problem, you are stuck in a valley without an idea how to get back to civilization or the spa resort.

As a group you decide to walk into a random direction, and at nightfall, you end up in an old abandoned village.

The village consists of timber-based houses that are rotten and fused with moss, ivy and other plants. a nasty fog hangs around the village at the time that you have seen everything. You set up camp here and discover the next day that you can no longer get out.

So, I noticed a lot of people weren’t really into the whole super-hero genre recently. So I thought that maybe it was because they didn’t know much about all the heroes and maybe it was overwhelming, not fully understanding what’s going on in the Rp, so I decided to create a Spider-Verse Rp in the hopes of reviving this beloved genre into something that everyone can be a part of, something that only focuses on one character and their little universe. This Rp takes place after the Spider-Verse movie and I wanted to try to find a way for the symbiotes to be introduced, I hope you all like it!

So, Ultimate Goblin and Doc Ock, now aware of the multiple dimensions decides to try to start it up again and go conquer different earths in the hopes that those Spider people will be easier to beat and thus they can finally win. However, once they turn it on a few things manage to get through. Symbiotes! The symbiotes: Venom, Carnage, Scream, Anti-Venom, and Riot, symbiotes from across the spider-verse each manage to come through with their own plans for our universe. But that’s not all, various spider-people also manage to come through as well. In the confusion Goblin and Doc Ock escape into two of the many worlds and blow up the collider. Can you stop the symbiotes, rebuild the collider, and save the spider-verse?

Hey everyone! I haven’t RPed in a while but I’m back with this post since I have gotten a couple of requests to run this RP again! This is not a new idea, I have made RPs with this same idea and this would be the ninth, but I wanted to post this here to gauge interest. If you have not participated in any of the previous RPs of this series, you are still able to participate in this one since the characters are new. Anyway, I am pasting everything from a previous post of mine on this thread when I was thinking of running this but never did.

This RP is based off of the MTV reality show of the same name. Basically, each character is matched up with another character who is supposedly their perfect match and fits most of what they want in a partner. The characters will compete in challenges every week to determine which couples will be going on a date. From there, one couple on the date will be chosen to go into the truth booth, which will tell the characters if that couple is a perfect match or not. The next day, the characters will have a match ceremony and sit with the character they believe is their perfect match. Then they will be told how many perfect matches are sitting together. The RP will end once all the perfect matches are sitting together at the ceremony or after a certain amount of weeks has passed.

Welcome to season eight of Are You The One, a reality show in which twenty-six competitors will compete in hopes of finding love and winning a million-dollar prize. All competitors will have a perfect match, but they will not know who it is, as their goal is to find their perfect match. This season takes place in Cape Town.

In this roleplay, each week will be three RP days. Each RP day will equal two days in real life. (Although I may change this if the RP moves very slowly or quickly)

During the first day, there will be a competition and there will be two (sometimes three and maybe only one) winners. The winners will be able to choose who they want to take on a date unless it’s one of the weeks where someone else chooses for them. (I am not sure if I will be doing that this season or not though) After the competition, all of the contestants will socialize in the house.

During the second day, the date will take place and the other contestants will socialize in the house. The rest of the contestants will also choose which couple on the date they want to send into the truth booth, which will reveal if the couple is a perfect match or not. The chosen couple will then get in the booth when they get back from their date and if they are a perfect match they will spend one last night with the other contestants before going off to the honeymoon suite. If they are not a perfect match, they will have to try to move on to continue on in the search of their perfect match.

During the third day, the contestants will socialize and get ready for the match ceremony at night. Each week either the girls or guys will have their pick of who they want to sit with at the ceremony. There will then be thirteen lights and every light represents a perfect match. The number of lights that are lit is how many perfect matches are sitting together at the ceremony.

There may be other events that take place during the days, such as parties and additional challenges.

The goal of the game is that by the end of thirteen weeks all thirteen lights will be on. If they are, the million-dollar prize will split in between all the contestants. If they are not, they will walk away with nothing.

Rules:
-Turn notifications on for this thread!
-Write at least 5-6 sentences per character!
-If your character is approachable, make them approach another approachable character, don’t just wait for some to approach your character or just post that they’re approachable if you know others are too!
-You must be active! (Please have about a conversation (at least five posts on your part in response to the same character) per character a day!)
-If you have multiple characters, do not neglect some of them and only focus on certain characters!
-Make sure to keep the roleplay dramatic, so add drama!
-If you are not active for longer than two days without letting me know beforehand, your characters may be put up for adoption! Your character can also be put up for adoption if I decide that you are not active enough! I will most likely be doing a warning system this season.
-Let me know if you are going away! (PM me or let me know in the sign-up/chat thread)
-No contact with the outside world is allowed. (Unless permitted by Terrence, the host, but you’d have to ask me first)
-No electronic devices are allowed unless they are already in the house like the TV, but there is nothing on the TV for the characters to watch.
-No books, music, animals, or most things from the outside world are allowed. (ask me if you are unsure if something would be allowed in the house)
-Characters may not leave the area of the house unless they have permission. (From me. For challenges, dates, etc)
-Once your character has found their perfect match in the truth booth and goes to the hotel, they will only be playable at the light ceremony.
-Sex is allowed (In the show there’s actually a room called the boom boom room which is in the roleplay), but obviously no graphic details! After clothes are off, either you take it to a PM or just time skip!
-Blur curse words!
-DO NOT share details about your characters with anybody else. The only thing you’re allowed to share is whatever is on the faceclaims. Do not share their personality or biography or interests or what they’re looking for in a person. The reason for this is that then it might be easier to determine who is a perfect match which ruins the whole point of the roleplay. The purpose is to discover what the other characters are like yourself instead of being told.
-When you roleplay, please try to stay with what you wrote and don’t change your characters’ personalities because if you do, their perfect match won’t be as compatible with them. If you need your character’s personality or bio or something, you can PM @Littlefeets, the matchmaker!
Do not tell me any information about your characters though. If you need anything else that doesn’t have to do with your characters’ personalities or the matches, PM me.
-If you are not writing in character, write OOC (Out of Character) or ORP. (Out of Roleplay) Blurring the OOCs is preferable. Try to avoid writing out of character and just type whatever you want to say in the sign-up thread/chat. I’m the only one that can break this rule.

Alright, I’ve promised many of of you all year that I would get onto this one before the end of 2020 and now I’m finally doing it. Long awaited, for sure, as it went unfinished back on EF due to my writing partner not continuing it. So I’m bringing it back but with only me writing it this time.

The Bachelor(ette) SG

You create the contestants and I will have a selection 4-8 bachelors and bachelorettes for you to vote on in the sign-up form to narrow it down to two you win the heart of.
A number of contestants (no more than 20-25), boys and girls (and other), will compete for one of the hearts of two Bachelors/Bachelorettes (my creation). There will be individual and group dates, cocktail parties, and eliminations. Eliminations, yes. Yes, your character will be able to get eliminated and be out of the story. Though eliminations may be down to a public vote sometimes, not just me, just to make it a little fairer. Then, by the end, we should be left with two contestants who win the bachelor and bachelorette’s hearts. The main goal of this story is for your character to win the heart of one of the Bachelor(ette)s.

Realms of Westeria

Westeria: the realm of hope for new lives and journies. Once, it was a land that flourished with magic, the relationship between human and nature at an equilibrium. It was the perfect balance as society grew, technologies advancing and breakthroughs in arcane abilities. The people here were known for being powerful spellcasters, masters of the elements, researchers into new magic domains, and students who thrived on being the next heroes.

As time passed, there emerged a growing dispute between the people centring on the main economic values, scientific discoveries, or magic. Those who held a higher affinity with magic started to distance themselves from those who claimed that society would only advance with new technologies. Sides were taken, and skirmishes broke out. Even the government broke into factions, unable to solve the growing divide. An attempt was made to split the land, but it only ended in disaster. As families packed up and left, others stayed behind based on affordability. Cities started to clear out, new ones being made.

Even the new society wasn’t perfect. Selenium, the land of science flourished in their achievements going on to build momentous contraptions and gizmos. The carbon emissions started to kill off the flora there, and even if substitute machines were built to stabilise life, the damage was done.

Lakora, the land of the mystical were magic is the only rule. Sorcerers trained together and learned new technics, more efficient methods of communications and transportation. No longer were the basic elements the norm, people were now harnessing abilities unheard of, combining them, controlling them.

The settled land wasn’t enough to disperse the tension in the air. The borders became places for riots that became full-on fights, that became wars. The people decided that there could only be one, science or magic, and in the end, they would see which method was superior.

It has been about one year into the war, and you are a cadet fighting valiantly for your faction. Whether it is by choice or not, whether you left a family behind or not, all you know now is that you must end up winning. The abilities of the arcane, or the genius and creativity of technology, how will you define your story through Westeria?

• This is an RP/SG which means there will be story moments in addition to written roleplay
• Semi-literate RP, no one-liners
• This RP centres around a war, which could contain sensitive subjects (like PTSD)
• There will be special spy positions where characters can pose as cadets from the opposite side
