Notting Hill Carnival (UK)

This is another annual festival that has been cancelled (recently) this year due to Covid-19. So like the La Tomatina (Spain’s tomato war) thread, let’s celebrate it here too.

Notting Hill Carnival (UK)

The Notting Hill Carnival is a huge street festival that takes place in London every year. It’s all about celebrating Caribbean heritage, arts, and culture (including music, food and dancing). This year it’s taking place on Sunday 25 and Monday 26 August.

Have you ever wanted to get involved in this?
What do you think it’d be like?

It really does.

I’m American, though. Otherwise, I’d have gone before.

I’m not really a carnival person because ahh crowds but I know people enjoy it and I’ve seen many documentaries on it so it definitely looks good

I’ve been to Notting Hill minus the carnival and it was reallyyyy busy then :joy: so I think it would just be super crowded
