Adam Riposte
A chill ran through his spine as her lips grazed his skin, and as she kissed him Adam felt his mind tune out and into that dark sultry void where all the rules didn’t matter. Who knows where things would have escalated to, if it weren’t for the singular fact that they were not exactly in a particularly private place.
Just as Adam was about to claim another lengthened kiss, there was a sharp cough beside them, and a very cold glare from the short figure beside them.
Adam sighed, his mind recovering back to its usual functioning self, and turned whilst not letting go of Bronwyn. He was surprised to find a little girl standing next to them, carrying a stack of very heavy looking old books, and looking rather annoyed by the whole scene.
“Might I remind you that it is in the list of Courtley Manners, written in the era of King Junadas the Fourth, that any and all quote ‘hanky panky’ or ‘favourable intimate touching’ was to be done in the privacy of a home or enclosure away from the public or workplace.”
Adam blinked, very confused. “What?”
“No Kissing in the Hallways.” Lady Puckett snapped, barging between the two and thrusting heavy tombes into Adam’s hands. Forced to back away from his prey, Adam couldn’t lose the look of utter confusion across his face, looking between the books and the tiny librarian to Bronwyn as if she maybe had something to do with it. Women were wily creatures, after all, and he knew something like this was too easy to be true. Lady Puckett scoffed as he struggled with the books, which despite being large already, were even heavier than they looked.
“If you have time to be hanging around playing the devil’s game with each other, then you have time to help me move some of these books.” She answered politely, smiling with a hint of mischief at Bronwyn. “You too, Miss. I have a couple artifacts that need arranging and I could use all the help I can get, and since you clearly have nothing better to do…” The little lady started off in the direction of the Library.
Adam blinked again, still trying to wrap his head around everything. “Um… what just…”
“Hurry up!” the girl snapped, and instinctively Adam started after her, not wanting to find out what this girl was like angry.
@Skyler2 - I wanted to shake things up a bit.

Malo Traduro-Gavishea
“Well, your birth meant that a lot of unfortunate people didn’t starve. You should be proud of that, of your parents, even if it was about money in the end.” In the end, everything wound up about money, and Malo had learned at a young age that sometimes you had to just accept a gift when it was given to you, even if the reason was rather twisted. At her mention of marriage though, he had to sigh, a shred of anger making him loose his smile as he looked down at the muffins that he had collected from the floor. It went against every bone in his body to just discard them. Food was food, after all.
“I hope you find a match that you like, truly. Though you should know that women are more than capable of running a business on their own.” Why Daegarimn had the same beliefs that men should be treated higher, he still didn’t know. His mother was probably the strongest woman he knew to date, and she had raised him completely on her own, despite everything. He bit into a muffin to distract himself.
It was more delicious then he remembered.
“My brother sent me here. King Hadrion, he wanted to…”
‘Train the commoner out of you’. Those words still stung, and Malo didn’t think that a lady such as Eulogia needed to hear them. He shouldn’t have been embarrassed about his past, or poor upbringing, but it was something that so many people had chided him for since he was dragged into his crown and he really couldn’t help it.
“… To help me adjust, to royal life, I guess. It makes sense, I’m not exactly used to all this.” He gestured to the grand academy building they now stood in. “It’s only been a year, I still don’t know which knife and fork to use for pudding.” He laughed it off, but actually that was one of the biggest things he was self conscious about. Seriously, how much cutlery did one person need to eat food with?!

Oscar Xian
“Wow, you really are an idiot.” Oscar muttered, bluntly. Looking ahead at the path, he frowned. It didn’t really look like the right direction, but the boy seemed sure of it. “Okay, uh… thanks.” He started off in that direction, before glancing over his shoulder at the boy. He hadn’t even thought to get his name. Would the lad even be okay by himself? Wait, why do I care?
“So, are you coming? Or, are you not a guy or something…?” Were they not supposed to go to their dorms and settle in or something? Oscar wasn’t exactly sure, he was just kind of making things up as he went.

Belladonna Sinclair
Adonna tensed at that. a role reserved solely for the men. It was something her uncle would have shouted at her the moment she even considered standing up for such a thing. She put on a smile, though it felt kind of forced, and shook her head.
“I like to believe that a woman is just as strong as a man, if she puts the same effort and faith in herself.” those had been her mothers words. A quote she now liked to live by, even if she was only using them to distract the princess from her original question. “Do you not believe I am worthy of becoming a Knight, your highness? Do you not think I would be capable enough to protect my family, My kingdom?” Again, she refused to say exactly which kingdom she came from, if only for her own safety and to avoid any chance of being dragged back there. “Do you not believe that you yourself would make an able queen one day?”
