Oscar stood up, rolling his shoulders and looking sidelong at the guy. “Don’t worry about it, just don’t jump to rediculous conclusions next time, and if you do see a dead body don’t poke it with a stick. Tell someone, or call the police…” Actually, if he was so quick to assume someone was dead when they were just napping… “… Actually, don’t call the police. Just leave them alone. Let them rest in peace or whatever.”
“Are you a student as well?”
“No, I’m an ocelot from outer space.” He answered sarcastically. He noticed the boy’s eyes catch his Banjo case, and sighed. “It’s an instrument, not a weapon, I swear. Say, do you know which way we’re supposed to go to the boys dorm?”

“Well you know how Cynaria is the biggest kingdom and all. Well since you look super prestigious, and don’t get me wrong nobles are suppose to looks proper and stuff, but you look really stunning. So I suspected you must of been a from Cynaria since you guys are all so respected and stuff.”

I lunged out of my seat right for his neck. I grabbed him and his head hit the back of the carriage.
I choked him. I wasn’t going to kill him of course. I just needed him to understand when I needed some silence

Caine was staring at the academy. He had a confident pose, with his hands on his hips. He joyously walked down the pathway. There was no good reason as to why he seemed to bubbly… perhaps it was just his personality. His heavy bag and thick armor plates suggested that he was a Squire, and a patch on his sleeve let everyone know that he was from Stormholt, and he seemed very proud about it.

“Wow!” He grinned. “This place is massive…”

He continued his journey through the academy, but this time he found himself inside. He admired all of the old and classy paintings. “I love this art style… it’s elegant.” He simply said before moving on to the next painting.

Afterwards, he continued down the hallway, smoothing his hand over plush couches and elegant furniture. The place must’ve been remodeled recently… He thought to himself.

Harper eyed Lucinda. “You’re a show monkey, eh? Give me a venue that you have performed at. I want to know how talented you really are.”

Harper waited for an answer before spotting a tall guy with brown hair. She arched a brow at this armor. “Pfft… what a show off.” She muttered to herself. Harper then found a mirror and looked at it, smoothing out an outfit and then she turned back to Lucinda. “How is Aevoria by the way?” She asked, pretending to care.

Bronwyn chuckles at his joke. As he fiddles with the fabric of her dress, she gets chills. “Hmmm. Well, depends on how high up the tree is.” She jokes, “You have been extremely charming.” Her lips brush his neck as she whispers in his ear. “I do have an amazing personality.” She pulls her fingers away and starts playing with his hair. She leans in and kisses him. Slowly, she pulls back. His hand still on her waist, she moves as close as possible, completely closing the distance between them. Waiting for his next move. At this point, she’d probably go along with whatever.

She felt her cheeks getting red. He was trying to help. But Gia was pretty sure that the muffins were goners. “Yeah, yeah the Woods Bakery.” It was a bit embarrassing that everyone knew her name. “We’re not really famous. My name actually means ‘blessed bread’. It’s a kind of bread that you give to the homeless. It’s supposed to be a kind of prayer.” They always gave out free bread on Sundays. It was a family tradition. “We get up at 4 in the morning just to make sure there’s more than enough for everyone. It started out as a celebration of my birth. But then the bakery started making a lot more money from the higher nobles because of it. Something about appearances.”

His concern was a bit flattering. “No, it’s not for baking. My parents just wanted me to be as prepared as possible to take over the bakery. Well, that and they want me to find someone to marry. They believe that if I have a man at my side, I’ll be able to run it more sufficiently.” She scoffed at the idea. “Why are you here?” It was a bit of a foolish question.

Oh? Viscountess. Ali didn’t like the way he said that. It made her seem more important than she really was. “Prince? I’m- I’m so sorry.” She curtsies deeply. It honestly just made the situation a lot worse. She wasn’t too sure if she would be comfortable anywhere with this man. Well comfortable with any man. “I actually think it’s a bit claustrophobic. Where would we go? Weren’t you running away from your babysitter?” She regrets the words as soon as they leave her mouth. Ali lets the terror on her face show. “I am Clemontime Darcey, Duchess of Xusian and it’s a pleasure to meet you your highness.” She scratched her head lightly as she continued on. “A lemon is a name of a fruit, Mr. Guard. Actually, It’s quite popular in Xusian.” She smiled again. “Personally, it’s my favorite.”

What if it wasn’t an instrument like he said but was actually a weapon that could be used to destroy the universe? What if-

Jacob focused again when he heard the…ocelot…ask him a question.

“Boys dorm? It should be up ahead.” He said pointing towards the path a few meters from where they were standing.

“Follow that path and you’ll reach the dorms in no time.”

Princess Estella Lyndon

Estella would not have been able to recognize members of most noble families quickly in any way. As much as she wished to be more aware of the goings on both within and outside of her kingdom, she was for the most part unaware. She was a princess, meant to stay out of the important matters, and instead focus on her drawing and her love of animals. The girl immediately seemed to know who Estella was, which likely meant she was from Rhytora herself. Though she was confused by the girl being a squire, she still gave a bright smile in response to her. “It would seem so. My journey here was peaceful and quite pleasant actually, unlike yours, from Rhytora as well, correct? And you’re a squire?” Despite her confusion at the thought, it definitely peaked her curiosity. “I’ve never known that a woman could become a squire. I thought that was a role reserved solely for the men of the kingdom, like many other roles of physical demand or rank.”

Anastasia Carmichael

This was one of those days you could never patiently wait for. Sometimes it’s from excitement and sometimes because you’re scared of the unknown. Both were the case for Anastasia. She was more excited than scared at this point, just sitting in that carriage made her think of every wonderful opportunity she would hopefully get here. As far as she knows, she could still do things she likes there, like ballet and horse riding so that kept her spirit up. The Carmichael barony is known for breeding and training some of the most stunning Stallions, growing up the first thing she learned after speaking and walking is riding horses. The whole ride to the Academy she kept her eyes glued on them, watching as their well taken care of mane moved lightly in the wind, feeling bad for them. Yes, they were strong enough to pull the carriage but their purpose isn’t that.

As soon as the carriage stopped her gaze immediately shifted to the small window, finally noticing this prestigious Academy her father kept talking about. And it looked exactly like that. For a moment there she got lost in her thoughts, analyzing every single detail on the Academy’s facade before she noticed someone opening the door for her, offering his hand. “Thank you very much.” She politely answered with a warm smile, taking the man’s hand and getting out of the carriage. Her hand immediately flew down to her dress, fixing it as she took a moment to look around her. The first thing she noticed was how the greenery was well taken care of in this beautiful garden right in front of the Academy. If she wasn’t so into biology and herbology she would go straight to the tall doors but instead, she made her way to the most colorful flowers, appreciating the beauty right in front of her. One of her biggest fears was not feeling at home at this place but just like she was told, she already did in a way. This garden reminded her of home, with her estate having some of the most beautiful gardens it was hard not to feel good about this situation. “You’re bags, miss.” The man spoke up making her jump a little as she turned back to face him with a guilty smile on her face. At that moment the footman rushed to greet Anastasia, taking her bags with him.

Taking a deep breath, she fixed her dress again as well as her hair taking a first step towards the tall doors of the school. Carefully opening them, she was greeted with warm yet hectic energy since it was the first day and everyone was a bit tense. Slowly stepping in as she played with the sleeves of her dress, she stood there at the entrance looking around the room in awe but unsure of what to do next.

As Crisella approached the academy, she began to feel important. As though she had suddenly been lifted above others, for she knew that this was an opportunity that could change her life. She did have one pet peeve though; the driver of her carriage strictly forbade any weapons. Even with this rule in place, she hid a small dagger, 3 inches long, in her back pocket. She was a cautious and weary soul, who didn’t trust much.
Slowly, the gates became closer and closer as she and, even though she wasn’t an architectural person, she admired the view. The carriage halted and Crisella stepped out. She walked up each step, pausing to look around. This academy was going to be her home and she was going to love it. As she opened the gates she was exhilarated, not noticing that her dagger was slowly falling out of place. She walked around and sat a nice velvet chair with padding and took in the view.

Logan Rider Green

Logan admired the structure of his carriage. The designs and the patterns, covered in beautiful colors. Not a single design out of place, it was perfect. He loved it.
He carried a leather satchel, filled with necessities. His paintbrush, small canvases, and of course a custom saddle for his horse. His horse had been following the carriage, because the trip was long and as much a he doesn’t want to admit, his horse was growing old. She was 28 years old and was a gift his father received and later gave to Logan. He didn’t ride because he felt like she needed to rest.
Approaching the academy Logan had asked for the carriage to halt. He jumped off and led his horse, Lillith, as he began his search for the stables.
The academy was big, bigger then expected. The structure was magnificent, it was like a dream come true. He would get to live here. He had already known the majority of the Academy. As he never started anything, without researching it a bit. He never liked to research, but when it was an opportunity this big, he thought he’d try. Sure enough he found the stables began to care for his horse.

A chill ran through his spine as her lips grazed his skin, and as she kissed him Adam felt his mind tune out and into that dark sultry void where all the rules didn’t matter. Who knows where things would have escalated to, if it weren’t for the singular fact that they were not exactly in a particularly private place.
Just as Adam was about to claim another lengthened kiss, there was a sharp cough beside them, and a very cold glare from the short figure beside them.

Adam sighed, his mind recovering back to its usual functioning self, and turned whilst not letting go of Bronwyn. He was surprised to find a little girl standing next to them, carrying a stack of very heavy looking old books, and looking rather annoyed by the whole scene.
“Might I remind you that it is in the list of Courtley Manners, written in the era of King Junadas the Fourth, that any and all quote ‘hanky panky’ or ‘favourable intimate touching’ was to be done in the privacy of a home or enclosure away from the public or workplace.”
Adam blinked, very confused. “What?”
“No Kissing in the Hallways.” Lady Puckett snapped, barging between the two and thrusting heavy tombes into Adam’s hands. Forced to back away from his prey, Adam couldn’t lose the look of utter confusion across his face, looking between the books and the tiny librarian to Bronwyn as if she maybe had something to do with it. Women were wily creatures, after all, and he knew something like this was too easy to be true. Lady Puckett scoffed as he struggled with the books, which despite being large already, were even heavier than they looked.
“If you have time to be hanging around playing the devil’s game with each other, then you have time to help me move some of these books.” She answered politely, smiling with a hint of mischief at Bronwyn. “You too, Miss. I have a couple artifacts that need arranging and I could use all the help I can get, and since you clearly have nothing better to do…” The little lady started off in the direction of the Library.
Adam blinked again, still trying to wrap his head around everything. “Um… what just…”
“Hurry up!” the girl snapped, and instinctively Adam started after her, not wanting to find out what this girl was like angry.

“Well, your birth meant that a lot of unfortunate people didn’t starve. You should be proud of that, of your parents, even if it was about money in the end.” In the end, everything wound up about money, and Malo had learned at a young age that sometimes you had to just accept a gift when it was given to you, even if the reason was rather twisted. At her mention of marriage though, he had to sigh, a shred of anger making him loose his smile as he looked down at the muffins that he had collected from the floor. It went against every bone in his body to just discard them. Food was food, after all.
“I hope you find a match that you like, truly. Though you should know that women are more than capable of running a business on their own.” Why Daegarimn had the same beliefs that men should be treated higher, he still didn’t know. His mother was probably the strongest woman he knew to date, and she had raised him completely on her own, despite everything. He bit into a muffin to distract himself.
It was more delicious then he remembered.

“My brother sent me here. King Hadrion, he wanted to…”
‘Train the commoner out of you’. Those words still stung, and Malo didn’t think that a lady such as Eulogia needed to hear them. He shouldn’t have been embarrassed about his past, or poor upbringing, but it was something that so many people had chided him for since he was dragged into his crown and he really couldn’t help it.
“… To help me adjust, to royal life, I guess. It makes sense, I’m not exactly used to all this.” He gestured to the grand academy building they now stood in. “It’s only been a year, I still don’t know which knife and fork to use for pudding.” He laughed it off, but actually that was one of the biggest things he was self conscious about. Seriously, how much cutlery did one person need to eat food with?!

“So, are you coming? Or, are you not a guy or something…?” Were they not supposed to go to their dorms and settle in or something? Oscar wasn’t exactly sure, he was just kind of making things up as he went.

Adonna tensed at that. a role reserved solely for the men. It was something her uncle would have shouted at her the moment she even considered standing up for such a thing. She put on a smile, though it felt kind of forced, and shook her head.
“I like to believe that a woman is just as strong as a man, if she puts the same effort and faith in herself.” those had been her mothers words. A quote she now liked to live by, even if she was only using them to distract the princess from her original question. “Do you not believe I am worthy of becoming a Knight, your highness? Do you not think I would be capable enough to protect my family, My kingdom?” Again, she refused to say exactly which kingdom she came from, if only for her own safety and to avoid any chance of being dragged back there. “Do you not believe that you yourself would make an able queen one day?”

Being impatient never worked to his advantage when it came to traveling. This whole ride over to the Academy has been nothing but torture to him. Sitting in this all-black carriage being pulled by the most elegant black horses felt like an eternity but at the end of the day, it is all worth it. In just a few minutes he would be standing in front of the doors of the prestigious Mystveil Academy, the moment he’s been waiting for quite some time. His father kept bugging him about dressing properly for this moment, representing the family in the best light but he didn’t really care about that, all he wanted was to get there and mind his own business getting the best education he can.

The carriage arrived, stopping in the fantasy-like garden which he was quite impressed with but didn’t care much about. He’s not one of those nature, biology, flowers loving type of guy.
Grabbing his luggage from the carriage all by himself, he left them down on the ground as a footman approached him. Politely greeting the man he followed him towards the tall doors of the Academy, with a soft smile on his face. It’s finally happening, he is at the Mystveil Academy. Opening the doors he was taken back just a little bit with everything going around, the inside of this Academy was as magnificent as the outside of it. Taking a few steppes around the room with his hands in his pockets his eyes flew to the girl sitting in one of the velvet chairs and he couldn’t not notice he dagger she had on herself, making him intrigued by her.

“You might have to be carefully with that thing.” There was a hint of tease in his voice as he slowly walked over to her and leaned against a wall with crossed arms, looking straight at the dagger she was carrying around. He didn’t recognize the girl, she could’ve been from his kingdom but he knows most people so be would’ve known about her but she was a stunner. “I’m Nicholas Hainslens.” Politely adding, he straighten up as he looked up at her to meet her eyes with a warm smile on his face.

“Yeah, we could go explore.” It seemed rude to turn down a prince. Even if he wouldn’t actually do anything to hurt her, it didn’t seem like a good idea to get on his bad side. Who is this strange child and why is she talking to us? Bronwyn was extremely annoyed. Can she ever get some privacy? Where were they supposed to do this if they aren’t allowed in each others room and they can’t make out in the halls? “Follow my lead.” She says under her breath.
Bronwyn takes his hand and starts following the child. Once they reach the library, Bronwyn starts talking to the young girl. “Excuse me. Hi, Bronwyn Thompson. I do apologise for our behaviour. It was extremely inappropriate.” She pauses for a second, thinking of what to say. “You see, this fine man,” she gesturing to Adam, “Is my boyfriend. And we haven’t seen each other in a year. My parents don’t even know he exists.”
Bronwyn’s aware that it would be a lot easier to play off if she had said fiancé. But that would require pretending to be in a real relationship with him. Boyfriend worked better. This way it’ll be more believable when they break up. “We haven’t seen each other in so long, it was really just a passionate hello. I tend to let my emotions get the best of me. We were actually about to go somewhere more secluded. Take a nice walk around the gardens.” She looks apologetically at the girl. “But you’re right. “Well, it was never really about money for my parents. They just want to help people. 50% of the money we get goes to the pastries and bread. The rest goes to our mortgage and some nice things. Gia didn’t really want it, but they had given it to her anyway. “Trust me, I’m aware. My mom actually does most of the managing. My dad makes the bread. But since she was being so stubborn with a husband, they figured that her going to a prestigious school might make people more confident in my abilities.
“That’s why I just stick to ice cream for dessert. You can never go wrong with a spoon.” Gia has always been glad that she wasn’t a royal. They all seemed snooty and rude. But the prince was different. Growing up as a lady was already hard enough. But it was nice to know that her family did help people. “But don’t worry, you’ll get used to it. I mean, it’s only ruling an entire kingdom on your own. I’d be more worried about talking to all those snobby nobles. I might just snap if it was me.” Gia immediately covers her mouth. But if you’re up for it we could go explore the academy.” She whispered, and leaned closer to him. “I heard a rumors that the academy has a crypt filled with secrets, maybe we’ll find out if there true together.” She put emphasis on together, because now she felt like she wasn’t alone, she has him.

He smiled, tilting his head to the side as he lead her out of the closet, “Well then, how did you mean to say it, Viscountess Alicia?” he asked, stepping towards her. “I often find those without filter are the best of people. A fliter means you hide, you lie. Not filter makes you honest, often the type who get in throuble, but create change.”
“Trust me, I’m the same. Just…make sure that doesn’t get you in trouble. You understand, right?” Nicolas whispered before walking into the main area, quickly dragging her behind a crowd of people talking the second he discovered Edgar, the adviser was already in the building look for him.

She sighed, ever so slightly shaking her head. He was overracting, right? There was no reason he would think it was … abuse. That was ludicrous, insanity. Not to mention he thought it was illegal. Wanting to pull royals into it.
“Very well. If it is so…important to you that justice is served we will go find the Prince, now. Just act subtle, rather than pushing it on him imediately. It would be improper and quite frankly…well, rude.” she frowned, fidgetting with the sleeves of her dress.

"He is new to being a Prince. He really needs to receive proper training.”

“I agree, which is why we must be slow with it, he has minumal knowledge over the past while of every small detail of a noble or royal. Just that there is reason enough why he wouldn’t help too. He is new to everything, it is very possible he would not want to get involved with drama such as this, and it is possible he possible may not be even listened to or taken into account over someone of less status but more experience and knowledge”
