Adam, by this point, was just blindly following two girls, and as Bronwyn took his hand he had to struggle with the books Lady Puckett had ditched on him, which again were much heavier than they looked. Adam was toned and lithe, he wasn’t a bloody weightlifter!

“Excuse me. Hi, Bronwyn Thompson. I do apologise for our behaviour. It was extremely inappropriate.”
The little lady turned nonchalantly to look at the taller girl before her, complete disinterest written across her childish face. It was jarring actually, how she managed to look like a child but act like a woman three times her age. Adam didn’t like it.
“You see, this fine man,”
Adam waved
“Is my boyfriend. And we haven’t seen each other in a year. My parents don’t even know he exists.”
He tried to hide his surprise at that suggestion, but willingly went along with it if only to see if Bronwyn’s excellent acting could get them off the hook. He never really had girlfriends, more just a long string of people he’d slept with then either never spoke to again or became mutual friends with benefits. The whole relationship thing was more of a joke amongst the Riposte brothers. If you had one, it was destined to fail.

Lady Puckett pushed up her shiny gold spectacles, and a small smirk played at her lips, as she looked between Bronwyn and Adam. She took a moment, her mind probably going through all the many ways she knew that it was a lie, the duchess’ magnificent acting aside.
“Lady Bronwyn Thompson of Daegarimn, known for her irrefutable reputation with failed relationships and reckless flings, is dating one Lord Adam Riposte, from the infamous family of Rhytorian cassanova’s who have one of the longest lists of exposed scandals and illegitimate bloodlines. Forgive me if I struggle to believe such a blatant lie for even a second.”
Straightening her back, her smile faded to that strangely mature serious look that should never be on a sweet little child’s face, and folded her arms as she regarded Bronwyn coldly. “There is a reason we have those rules in place. It’s to avoid scandals that might affect the reputation of the Academy, and especially protect Mystveil from any unwanted angry parents. Even if you were telling the truth, you would be wise to keep your emotions to yourself, and your hands off wanted players.”
Adam scowled at that. “Hey, my criminal record is completely clean, thank you very much. It’s the others who have to face adultering charges…” he mumbled that last bit.
Lady Puckett turned on her heel once more, and continued towards the library. “As for the artifacts, you will find out soon enough. Follow me.”

He smiled to himself. The woods family were one of the few nobles that could reinstate his hope in humanity. “They are good people. You must be proud.” Better to be remembered as the child of a loving and generous family then a war mongering tyrant. That’s not true, he wasn’t a tyrant… But he did let nobles think stupid things, like women in power needed to have husbands to ‘keep them in check’. It was something he had hoped Hadrion would sort out once he came into power, but if anything he was just like their father.
“Maybe the nobles should mind their own buisness.” He muttered to himself, glancing off into the distance.

At first Malo chuckled at the mention of just using a spoon, but when she mentioned ruling the kingdom and dealing with nobles… she covered her mouth, and his smile was gone for a brief moment, because in truth he never really thought about that. Crown Prince meant if anything happened to Hadrion, Malo would be next. Of course, he always knew that, but everyone had done their best to keep Malo out of the way and excluded from any major decisions, so the actual concept had never really struck him. No, nothings going to happen, not to Hadrion. He’s too cautious. Slowly his smile returned, though it lacked the same humour as before.
“Don’t worry… Somehow I don’t think that’s ever going to happen. So long as my brother is on the throne, I won’t have to deal with anyone snobby or noble.” he winked, chuckling and taking another bite out of the muffin he had picked up. “These are great, by the way. Compliments to the chef.”

”Bows aren’t exactly my type of weapon, but that might change if a keen archer would take sometime to enlighten me.”
“I’m pretty sure teachers here are good at their job so they probably will enlighten you.” He shrugged lightly, with hint of sarcasm in his voice he hoped she’d get but he soon cheekily smiled and teasingly added. “Or you know, I could? I’ll always find some time.”
She mentioned she was from the same kingdom and it’s then he actually connected everything, her last name was familiar to him because of that. It’s strange he’d never seen her before because her face would be the one he would remember too. Thinking about that didn’t stop him from noticing what she said and how she tried to correct herself, making him smile sweetly and taking a moment to properly look at her face. She definitely is someone he’d remember. “That was a nice one.” He quietly, yet teasingly commented on that, not wanting to make a big deal out of it and maybe make her feel uncomfortable.
”But if you’re up for it we could go explore the academy. I heard a rumors that the academy has a crypt filled with secrets, maybe we’ll find out if there true together.”
“I would love to go looking for that crypt filled with secrets, together.” He whispered and leaned in closer to her, the same way she did, putting the same emphasis on together. It felt nice already having someone he can be around here, he expected most people would be too busy doing something so he was happy about this.
“Shall we?” Stepping back with a slightly mischievous smile on his face, he put his hand out for her to take.

As Ali followed him out of the closet, she couldn’t help but agree with what he was saying. But he soon pulled her behind a crowd of people. She tries to see what he’s so mad about and sees an older man in the building. Going around asking groups of people a single question and the leaving. “Is that the babysitter?” She asks under her breath. But she already knows the answer. “What do we do?” There was always the closet. But she wasn’t too sure if she wanted to be that close to him again. She was looking around for any sort of exit. The only thing that she could see was the exit door.
Ali lightly taps on his shoulder and points towards the main door. “Maybe we could sneak around him?” He already looked outside so he might not again.

“Well maybe we should come up with a better plan. It might be a bit much to just throw all of this on him right now.” Columbus looks away. This plan was not holding up very well. “Maybe. But you’re not that low of status. You are technically a countess.” Remembering the guard he quickly says, “I should probably go soon. The guard might start getting suspicious.” He bites his bottom lip in annoyance. “We can talk more later.” He takes her hand and gives her a quick kiss. “I truly am sorry for leaving so soon. But I don’t want you to get hurt.” With pain in his eyes he looks back up at her. He’ll have to think of a plan. Somehow. Maybe a backup in case the Prince doesn’t care.

Bronwyn Thompson

Lady Bronwyn Thompson of Daegarimn, known for her irrefutable reputation with failed relationships and reckless flings
She narrows her eyes. How dare she. It wasn’t so much reckless or failed relationships. It was just preference.
is dating one Lord Adam Riposte, from the infamous family of Rhytorian cassanova’s who have one of the longest lists of exposed scandals and illegitimate bloodlines.
She looks towards Adam raising an eyebrow.
Forgive me if I struggle to believe such a blatant lie for even a second.
You know, it was a bit creepy how much she knew about the two of them. “Stalker much.” She says under her breath. Mainly to Adam.

She can’t help but roll her eyes. If a couple of angry parents could take down the entire academy, Bronwyn definitely questioning this academy’s prestigiousness. “Well, he definitely is wanted.” She turns over and winks at Adam. But can’t help but laugh at how difficult it was for him to hold some books. She turns back and starts following the girl. “Hi, yeah it’s me again, I was just wondering. What exactly do you do here?” It was a simple question. Bronwyn wanted to make sure that she was listening to someone actually important and not just some bossy wanna be child.

“Yeah, I try to be.” Gia says a bit disheartened. There’s always been someone telling Gia telling her that her family sucks. Whether it be a commoner or noble. The commoners told us we were just doing it for attention and money. The nobles said that we weren’t actually important in anyway. But she tried not to let herself get down. She agreed with what he said, but didn’t want to comment.

“Well, I wouldn’t be too sure. Anything can happen.” Gia was always worried that her parents would have a boy and she wouldn’t be able to claim her birthright. But the chances of that happening were small. It had took them two years to conceive her. And now they’re 19 years older. But it was still a constant threat. She couldn’t help but blush. She recognised the muffin. “It’s actually one of my recipes.” Her father must have gotten up early to make them. She could tell they were fresh. “But my dad made them.” Her father did most of the baking. But Gia did the rest. She was really good at the sweeter things. But her father made the breads and muffins. Her mom sometimes helped with icing on cakes. Though she really managed the business. Gia’s dad was always a bit shy. Her mom was extremely talkative. They made a good couple.

“Stalker much.”
Adam snickered subtly, but it was clear that the girl had ears like a bat as she harrumphed in response. At Bronwyn’s wink, Adam had to grin, because it was becoming evident the two of them had a lot in common. “Careful sweetheart, if that really is the case who knows what I might do.” he teased back as he went to catch up with the girl.

The little lady continued walking as the students followed after her, and at Bronwyn’s question she simply sniffed and raised her chin. “Lady Mamie Puckett-Rowennsa, Head Librarian here at Mystveil and a close acquaintance to Lady Du’Castièr. I keep charge of the building’s extensive collection of archives and files, as well as its books and artifacts, which you will see only half of once we reach the Academy Library. The rest is under my dutiful protection in the catacombs of the Academy. Satisfied?” She asked, eyeing Bronwyn with a look that said she knew exactly why the duchess had asked the question to begin with.
Adam frowned, still at a loss for what the heck was happening. “I’m sorry, you’re how old?”
A book flew out of nowhere and hit him square in the face.
“Mister Riposte, you must never as a lady her age! Now come along, I haven’t got all day.”
Rubbing his nose, he picked up the books again and begrudgingly followed again, scowling as he went.

Malo noticed her less enthusiastic look, and wondered if something was bothering her. Was she not proud of them? They had helped a great many people, so surely they weren’t bad people themselves? He shrugged the thought off, unsure how to really approach the topic as talking about feelings was not his strong suit.

“Please don’t say that. I’m still wrapping my head around this whole ‘Prince’ thing.” He gave an empty laugh, and was glad to change the subject as she mentioned the muffin being her own recipy. “It’s good. I don’t like fruit, personally, but berries are alright, and they’re blueberry right? Good choice.” He said, finishing the cake and licking the crumbs off his fingers. Looking around, he noticed that most of the students were making their way to the dorms, and he was getting kind of tired of carrying his bag.
“Hey, I don’t suppose you know where we’re supposed to be going do you? I would try to work it out myself, but I’m not so used to finding my way around, um… this kind of place.” A battle camp, sure, he could have the whole place worked out in one walk around without a problem, find his tent, the armoury, and even several exits in case of an attack. But a year had passed and he was still finding himself getting lost in the palace, a place he was supposed to know and consider as a home.

“Hmm, well. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see what you do.” She whispers. Even though the lady may be able to hear her, Bronwyn might as well do some flirting.
Head Librarian? As in there’s more of these people? What a nerd. “Archives and files you say. What kind of archives and files?” Why was she keeping her book and artifact collection in the catacombs. Wasn’t that place dangerous?
“No, no I’m not very satisfied. Yet.” She looks at Adam teasingly. Daring him to say something. The fact that he asked for her age. Bronwyn would probably chuck a book at him too. “Hi, Miss Lady Mamie Puckett-Rowennsa? It’s me again. I was just wondering, what moisturizer do you use? It makes you look so young!” This was an honest question for Miss Mamia Puckett-Rowensomething. Even if Adam didn’t get it. She may have been testing her luck a bit, but Miss Mamie should know her father’s standing. Seeing as she apparently watches Bronwyn sleep.

“Oh, I’m sorry. I guess it was a bit rude.” Gia felt bad for what she said. Of course, she wishes no harm to the King. But if something were to happen to him… Well, Malo needed to be prepared.
“Yeah. Blueberry’s my favourite kind of muffin. Chocolate is much too sweet.” She was glad to see that the prince was enjoying her recipe. Even if she didn’t bake them. Gia had been told that they were a town favourite. And they weren’t very expensive seeing as they just had to grow their own blueberries. Unlike chocolate chip where we have to buy the chocolate chips from someone. But it is rather expensive because of the cocoa. But they’ll make it on special occasions. Such as birthdays and weddings. Though the weddings usually want vanilla.
“Well, I think that the attic would be pretty self explanatory. But I honestly have no idea where to go. I haven’t even gotten my dorm room yet. But there may be some maps around.” Gia wasn’t exactly excited to have a roommate. But as long as she wasn’t important she should be good.

She frowned, looking down as he kissed her hand before regaining eye contact with him. Colombus had a point, they couldn’t overwhelm the prince, and yet, despite playing it off dumb with Colombus she wanted nothing more than to speak to the prince. To have the chance, just a chance to have help. To break her marriage, even if it meant losing her title.

“I- I- I-” Ali takes a deep breath. It’s alright Ali. You got this. You can do this. Calm and collected, she says, “I think they’re giving us our dorms tonight after dinner. But I could be wrong.” Ali wasn’t 100% sure if this was true or not. But maybe it works out for the better if they stay out of rooms all together. “Maybe we could go out to the stables. Or just to the gardens? It’s a bit stuffy in here.” Ali was definitely having a hard time breathing. And this stupid dress she was wearing was not helping in anyway.
“Stormholt.” She says without thinking. “I’m from Stormholt. It’s fairly small. But the sights are amazing.” She starts following him. Maybe they won’t end up in the dorms. But she was a bit concerned about being in an enclosed space with this stranger. Well, not just him. Any stranger. “And you’re the Prince of…? So sorry. And if he tried, he’d have to get past Columbus first.
“No, I don’t have to. But the guard might get suspicious. Unless he really is as stupid as you say he is.” He looked around. They both knew that it would be smarted for him to go back. But his curiosity got the

She could and didn’t, at least her guesses would have been wrong when he mentioned being a squire. She slowly closed her eyes, trying not to roll them at the guy who was dressing to fit in. “Jumpy?”, Cordelia asked. “Not used to people talking to you? You’re going to fit in here so well, dressed like that and jumping at a question.” She smirked. So, Demetrius Marshall, I know that name but I don’t know you. “If there weren’t any prudish librarians around, I’d have you right now, but apparently luck is not on our side. So guess you will just have to wait.” He teased back, playing innocent when the little lady glanced around.

“Archives and files you say. What kind of archives and files?”
“The kind that I very much doubt you have a true interest in, Miss Thompson. The kind of archives and files that require me to be placed in charge of them, and as I’m sure you can guess, I’m not exactly your ordinary type of person.”
“No, you’re far more annoying.” Adam muttered under his breath to Bronwyn with a smirk.
“Hi, Miss Lady Mamie Puckett-Rowennsa? It’s me again. I was just wondering, what moisturizer do you use? It makes you look so young!”
“Apple and Rosewater, with a hint of spice, and a sprig of lavender crushed into an oil then heated to approximately 60 degrees. I also rub a drop or two of Frankincense under my eyes, to reduce the puffiness when I stay up all night.” She stopped as they reached a door. Tall and somewhat intimidating, made from polished mahogany and embellished with gold and what looked to be ebony in a newly restored pattern depicting some kind of ancient creatures. It was truly a marvel, and Adam would have taken a second to admire it if the little madam librarian didn’t clear her throat obnoxiously loudly and glare at him as if somehow he had to carry her stupidly heavy books and hold a door open for them like a gentleman. Wait, that’s exactly what she expects, isn’t it…
Rolling his eyes, he gave her a very sarcastic smile and managed to shift the books under one arm, opening the door for them both, and shooting Bronwyn a look that let her know if she laughed he would not be picking up their little session later when they escaped this terror.

Lady Mamie trotted into the dark room, up to a desk that sat directly in the center, and put down a couple more books before hurrying over to the curtains. The room filled with light, and even Adam couldn’t help but stare in wonder. The place was huge, grand and rich, filled with endless shelves of books. It was probably the grandest library he had ever seen. Above each shelf was a tiny number, written in perfect calligraphy, and every book sat in line so crisp and clean but clearly ancient in their design. If the little girl was right about being the head librarian, she kept her books very well. Here and there glass cabinets housed tiny trinkets and dewhickeys. Adam’s shoes tapped the marble floor as he made his way over to the desk, finally putting the heavy books down and taking a second to admire the place.
“Well, I’ll be damned… Maybe this school ain’t so bad.” he said, whistling as he took it all in.

Gosh, this place is beautiful! I think happily as the carriage pulls up to the school. I watch, amazed, as the fairies fly around like little lights around the castle. I smile gratefully at the footman who came to greet me. “Greetings!” He says as he bows deeply. “You must be Katie Samson.”
He helps me out of the carriage- I’m awfully short- and leads me to the Crest of the school. “I’ve heard that you are a bright girl.”
I smile. “Thanks,” I say.

When I arrive at the Crest of the Academy, I know that this will be the best year of my life. It sounds foolish, but it carried a calm and soothing aura. I walk by a boy who looked down, so I waved at him. He glared at me. I dig in my pocket for the map that I brought to navigate, but it must’ve slipped out, because all I could find was my lunch money. I sigh, and look around for someone who could help me to the dorms.

James Donald

Way to get rid of me, huh?
That’s what James Donald though when he saw the castle come into view. He wasn’t in a good mood, mostly because his mother had seemingly thrown him into this school so she could get some alone home with James’ new stepdad, Albert.
If that wasn’t enough, he had to be stuck with the people from the same kingdom that brought his kingdom down. It was enough to make anyone go crazy.
When the footman greeted him, he grudgingly replied with a stiff, “Thanks…”

When he got to the castle, he walked in with a sense of confidence. The people from Cynaria may be here, but that won’t stop him. He scowled at the girl who gave him a smile, and walked to his dorm, trying to avoid people’s eyes.

No, you’re far more annoying.
Bronwyn can’t help but giggle. “Accurate,” she whispers back.
Her face shows visible confusion as she lists of this recipe. “Could you write that down?” This girl was extremely intimidating. The fact that she made Adam hold open a door for her proved that. Bronwyn walks over to Miss Mamie and talks in a hushed tone. “I was wondering if you could help me find a book.” She quickly looks over her shoulder to make sure that Adam isn’t listening. “Do you happen to have any books on horses?”
Bronwyn had been interested in horses almost all of her life. And although she already knew quite a bit about them, she could always learn more. But recently she had been extremely interested in Camargue horses. “More specifically, Camargue horses?” She wasn’t too sure what about this horse was so fascinating to her. Maybe it was how old they were. Or the fact that they weren’t often found in captivity. Whatever it was, she wanted one. And she was trying to find out where they were most commonly found.
Whilst in this conversation, she took the time to admire the library. She had never been a big fan of libraries. Mainly because of all the dust. But this one was impressive. Although, she wasn’t a big fan of how tidy everything was. It made it seem like no one ever took out a book. She even chuckled at Adam’s low whistle. Even if it did make him sound like a crook.

Gia walks over to his side to look at the map as well. “No, most of my friends are commoners so they can’t come to the school.” She had always stayed away from the nobles. They were quite mean. The funny thing was that Gia remembered seeing the young prince around the bakery. He was a few years older than her so they never played together. But she did remember seeing him around with his mother. Or at least someone who she assumed was his mother. Then the whole crowned prince thing happened and she didn’t see him around after that. Though some people did come by buying treats for the royal family. But it was pretty uncommon.
“If you don’t mind me asking, how’s your mother?” Gia had a handful of memories that included his mother. Though Gia could never remember her name. She had always been a nice person. But she stopped coming by when the war started.

He wasn’t exactly sure that he should let the alien into the boys dorm seeing as it might be carrying a weapon that could potentially destroy the entire universe. Well, he thought it was an ‘it’. He wasn’t exactly sure that aliens even had genders but it wouldn’t be polite to accidentally insult it again.

No longer focusing on the aliens’ gender, he decided that it wouldn’t hurt to be nice. After all, the alien was the only one he had met so far who didn’t forget about him within seconds of their conversation. Maybe it was an alien thing.

“What’s your name?” He asked. “I’m Jacob Farrell. I come from Elarin.”

He wondered if the alien even knew where Elarin was, seeing as it was from outer space.

“Elarin is a small kingdom on an island in the west.” He said helpfully. “It’s alright if you don’t know about it since you’ve probably only been on earth for a little while.”

:crossed_swords: Demitrius Preston :crossed_swords:

Demitrius was slightly puzzled as to why the squire had suddenly introduced himself, but didn’t have the energy to care.

“The letter is for Alexander Preston.” He said with his usual stoic expression. “It needs to get there as soon as possible because the matter within the letter is very important.”

He motioned for his valet to come over as he continued. “Do your best to keep the letter safe and you will be rewarded.”

His valet handed him his wallet and Demetrius opened it before stuffing some money into the squires arms.

“If anyone asks who sent you, say it was Demetrius Preston.”

“I hope to carry on my family’s business.” Aless said. She didn’t mind telling him this at all despite the fact that she generally didn’t talk about it. Maybe it was because Lord Rosencratz had a way with words that made her like what he said or maybe it was because of all the nice things he had said about her. Either way, she decided to answer his question truthfully.

“My family runs the biggest shipbuilding businesses in all of Cynaria and I hope to be the one that my father chooses as his heir.”

Alicia Bennett

“Well, you are the Prince here.” Ali mutters under her breath, maybe a little too loudly. She didn’t even want to get into the fact that she was a terrible fighter. If they actually ran into any danger, he’d most likely be protecting her. Ali wasnt too sure why Nicolas seemed to be so angry at his advisor. “Do you only go by Nicolas, or can your friends call you Nick?” Her real name was Alicia but everyone just called her Ali. Maybe because it made her feel smaller.

“Inirene… I don’t think I’ve ever heard of it.” She lowers her head and looks down at her feet. Traveling wasnt really her thing. And she had no interest in Cartography. So she wasnt very good with her locations.
“It’s- it’s- its beautiful.” Ali hated using that word. But she couldn’t think of a better way to describe it. “Its a great place to embrace nature and remain calm. Part of me is glad that my parents are from there. It definitely helps with my anxiety.” She gaps in shock realizing that she said too much. Trying to change the subject she says, “What’s Inirene like?”

“I’ll always find the time for you, okay?” He couldn’t just give this girl hope and then walk away when she needed him. This wasnt an Episode Feature story for goodness sake. “He’ll talk to us. It might just take some time. I can always track him down in the dorms or something. We’ll figure it out. But we might want a plan B.” Elise’s hurt was crushing for Cloumbus. He bites his bottom lip. Not knowing if he should stay or go. He looks into her eyes, trying to tell if she really wants him to stay. “Okay. If you want me to stay I will. But I am extremely worried about that guard.” He didn’t like the idea of being gone for so long. It could endanger Elise. “Maybe I could walk you to your dorm?” Of course he wouldn’t go in. But she may feel a bit safer if someone escorts her there.

Squire Ranbir Mahaja

Ranbir was on his way here. He’d managed to seek voyage to the mainland on a shipping vessel, carrying his own ragged bag aboard, which was filled with pretty much his whole life of material possession. In other words, he didn’t have much. Though his attire got wet during the crossing, it soon dried whilest he was looking for his next means of transportation. After an hour for haggling with many lowly-paid men, he finally found one that would take him all the way there for a very small payment.
The journey was long and the carriage was in no condition to do it. It felt every rock and hole in the road, and with that, so did Ranbir. There was no sleep for him at any point in the journey, not one wink. So Ranbir tried focusing on something else, his language skills. As he knew that there wouldn’t be many there who spoke his native tongue.
“Hello. My name is Ranbir Mahaja, how are you?” Then he repeated it again in English. “Hello. My name is Ranbir Mahaja, how are you?”
This continued all the way to the academy. When the carriage stopped, he looked out the window and his mouth fell open. This place was beautiful. Though with no there to open his door, he did it himself and pulled out his bag with him.
The coachman came over and offered out his palm to Ranbir, “I could take your luggage up if you want?”
Ranbir looked down at the man’s palm, thinking a few seconds before nodding. He reached into his pocket. Tossing the man his bag and half a copper, Ranbir walked up the stairs and inside. Not looking where he was going, he bumped into a flawless girl in a very big pink dress. This girl had money, Ranbir could almost smell and knew he must talk to her. “Hello. Your name is Ranbir Mahaja, how you are?” He’d mixed up the sentence and couldn’t remember one of the English words.

@astxrism - Anastasia Carmichael Sorry, kept it the same 'cause I liked it.

Lord Harlan Godebert

For most of the long journey, Harlan had been laying on his back, in semi-formal attire, inside his maroon and brown, rustic-looking carriage, with a book almost glued to his face. His eyesight was getting much worse. Though telling his father was useless, as useless as tits on a bull. Each time Harlan would inform him of this, his father would only shake his head and laugh, pat him on the back and say, “You must be tired, go get some rest.” No matter how many times he denied this, it was all in vain. His father would not listen and Harlan’s sight simply got worse.

About an hour from the school, Harlan got anxious from being stuck in the carriage for so long. He snapped his book shut and lay it down on the seat. He needed air. Standing up, he had to hunch over as the carriage ceiling was shorter than he was, Harlan carefully walked over to the window in the door and started climbing out of it. The carriage never stopped. Gripping his fingers onto the top frame of the carriage, once he was completely out, he held on with his body hanging against the carriage as he shimmied along toward the coachman. Upon reaching the aged coachman with a shaggy beard, Harlan climbed up next to him to enjoy the fresh air and view for the rest of the journey.

Upon arrival, Harlan jumped down and then spoke to the old coachman, “Thank you, Charles. Would you mind helping to carry up my trunk? It would be much appreciated, my good man.”
Charles nodded to signal that he would and Harlan bolted. He needed to stretch his legs. Needing to run. Not knowing where to go, nor what direction to go, he just ran fast. His vision was a blur. So fast he didn’t see much in front of him, not even a person… but a tree. A rather large trunk of a tree, right in front of him. Harlan fell backwards onto the ground.
After a moment or two, Harlan blinked numerous times, looking at the tree. Not even thinking about turning around to see if anyone saw.

APPROACHABLE after just crashing into a tree somewhere around the grounds.

Vivien Foran
Vivien looked out the window as her family’s carriage travelled down the road of this strange, new place. She examined the landscape, thinking of how beautiful paintings of this place would be. If only I were here on my own accord. She thought, looking down at her travel dress. She’d chosen her most comfortable, yet presentable dress for the occasion, wanting to make a good impression on whoever she encountered first. She wrapped her fingers around her ruby necklace, a parting gift from her mother and a piece of her homeland that she could carry with her. The horses slowed to a halt as the carriage arrived at its destination. Vivien dismounted the carriage, collecting her bags and walking up to the front gates of the castle.

Alistair Reinsel
Alistair rode through the town, the wind sweeping his hair off his face. Even though he’d come to Cynaria a few times with Sir Christian, they never stayed long enough for him to become familiar with it, so he occasionally found himself getting lost on a sideroad. When he finally found the castle, he breathed a sigh of relief and raced towards it. As he entered the grounds, he slowed his hose down and rode to the stables. Finding an empty stall, he dismounted, leading her into the stall and then going through his usual after riding routine, one of the things he was adamant about never changing, no matter where he was. He exited the stables and began to walk around the grounds. Out of the corner of his eyes he saw someone hit a tree and had to stifle a laugh as he walked towards them. “Well that was certainly graceful.” He quipped, leaning against the tree and crossing his arms.

Anastasia Carmichael

Just standing there and carefully looking around at every person in the room, she couldn’t really tell who was of a higher class and who wasn’t, many girls were wearing classy dresses which Anastasia admired but just like her, they could only be a baroness. She never really wanted to be a princess or girl of a higher class, she was happy with the way she is; after all her family was well known and that was enough for her. But one major thing she didn’t like about herself is how nosy she can be, whatever is happening around her she wants to know all about it, same with people. Who are these people? Who was that girl with muffins and guy standing with her, what are their stories? Or the siblings she spotted earlier with the most colorful clothes? So far she didn’t see anyone she knew from before which meant she had some research to do, hopefully nothing that might get her in trouble.
As she was about to leave the room and look around the Academy a bit more, lost and not really knowing what to do next she felt someone bumping into her, making her turn towards the person immediately with a sorry look on her face. That’s the thing with her, even if she was the one who didn’t do anything wrong she would apologize, not knowing how to stand up for herself.

“Sorry.” She almost immediately said, gently putting her hand on his arm as a sign of apology but quickly removed it with a guilty smile on her face. For a second there she got a bit confused by his next words, it was obvious English wasn’t his first language and she is not really good at languages, it was never an interest of hers which she regretted at this moment. “I’m sorry, I don’t really understand that.” She politely said with a warm smile, taking a moment to properly look at the guy. Right away she could notice he wasn’t like others which she found intriguing and had so many questions she kept for herself. Who was he, where did he come from, why is he here?

“It’s nice to meet you Ranbir Mahaja, I’m Anastasia Carmichael.” She answered with a slight nod, trying to pronounce his name the same way he did, not wanting to make a big deal out of him messing up the words. Name like that is not something you hear every day in Cynaria and she didn’t want to disrespect him in any way by not caring about the pronunciation. “I’m certainly excited to be here. How are you?” She added with a soft smile, keeping her posture straight. “Where are you from?” It didn’t take long for curiosity to show, as she quickly asked him one more thing.

@CrazyCaliope - Ranbir Mahaja I honestly liked it too.

Nicolas Veta-Serentine

Nicolas rose an eyebrow, he hadn’t done anything terrible yet that he could recall, but based on this girls expressions and mumbling to herself, she seemed quite displeased with the presence of him beside her. Unfortunatly for Alicia this only made Nicolas want to try harder to make her happy around him. not because he loved her, or liked her, but more for his own personal reasons. There was no way Nicolas would let himself know in his mind that someone was not happy around him. He wanted to make an impact while still brushing out his pretty high ego.
“Most people just go formally and call me Nick. Execpt for about 3 of my siblings. Otherwise my parents and friends just call me Nicolas. How about you, is there a short nickname for Alicia?” he questioned as he made it outside.
Nicolas squinted his eyes as the warm sun hit his skin, blinding him for a moment compared to how dark the Academy now felt inside compared to the outdoors.

“Yeah, Inirene is pretty small, and we basically cut off nearly all ties with other kingdoms after the war, so it doesn’t surprise me. I’ve heard of Stormholt, where you’re from but I’ve never been there, I’ve been to Cynaria and thats about it, possibly Ujjama, but I dont have great memory or pay attention to things like this.”
He froze when Alicia began mumbling something about her family in Stormholt and anxiety before quickly changing the subject. He’d leave that all alone for the time being, but the fact she so desperatly wanted to hide that peaked his interest. And he swore that over time he’d figure out what it was. But for now he’d just go on with her conversation.

“well, in Inirene we all live on this huge mountain, with a few small valleys. It’s usually pretty cold compared to other kingdoms and we don’t have much interaction with them besides trading. We were kicked out of our original land during the war, which is why we decided to settle on the mountains. So we’d always have the high ground in case of an attack of some sorts. How about Stormholt? what’s it like there?”

Elise Ponsonbye

“Okay,” she nodded in a slow breath and nod, she didn’t know why she wanted him to be there. Why shes afriad of being near most people, scared she’ll be hurt like half the people in her life. Maybe it’s because he’s been the only person in recent years who hasn’t attempted to claim power over her. But it made her wonder, was it just Columbus like that was so kind, or was there smoething wrong with the men in Deagarimn. Was it only the people where she kived that treated her that was. She wasn’t sure why. But she couldn’t deny how she felt.

“what type of plan b though? I can’t run away. So thats out. I can’t just attack him or move out. If the Prince doesn’t help there goes any assistance from the royal family. Police and those in law will likely side with him, since he’s a popular, respectable man.” Elise shook her head, she needed to calm down, she could hear the shaking in her own voice, she couldn’t let herself be afraid again, she’d improved so much, so quick.

“Don’t be afraid of the guard, it’s okay. As for dorms, I dont even know which dorm I am. I never checked in with the secretary or grabbed a map. Maybe we can try and go there, making sure the guard doesn’t see us and then head to the dorms?” she suggested, looking down, only to realize she had a death grip on Columbus’ hands, blushing and quickly letting go, pulling her hands back and against her body.
