Alicia Bennett
โYeah, I usually go by Ali. But people really just call me whatever they want.โ Although she preferred Ali, her parents called her Alicia. Not to be mean, they just believe that she should be proud of her real name. Her birth parents though, they almost never called her anything even resembling her real name. The outdoors were comforting to Ali. It helped calm her down.
โI donโt really travel. Besides, even if I wanted to, my parents have too much going on to travel.โ Ali didnโt have a very good memory herself. The only thing that she could never forget is her poems. She did, however, think that it was a bit pompous for him to not remember these things.
She never knew how people lived on mountains. Were they not scared that theyโd fall off? โHmm. I donโt like heights.โ Ali wasnโt so much a fear. She just preferred to stay away from mountains. โThere are some mountains. Along with โLa Kennaโ. Itโs an awesome river. I never really paid attention to the history. All I know is that we have a strong alliance with Daegarimn.โ Her parents tried to teach her the history. But she either ran off or didnโt pay attention.
โThereโs one thing I donโt understand. Why exactly are you at the school.โ It would make sense for him to be here to learn how to rule. Yet, he runs away from his advisor. Almost as if he doesnโt want to be a Prince.

Columbus Eisenburg
At least his presence seemed to be calming her down. It made him feel like he was actually helping someone. โWell, maybe we could talk to someone else. Someone even more powerful than the prince.โ He closes his eyes. Scared to even say it. Even if she did want to help. It could restart the war. And Columbus didnโt want any blood on his hands. โMaybe we could talk to the Princess of Cynaria.โ It would make sense. To go to the only kingdom that is even more powerful than Daegarimn. Or they could go to somewhere that didnโt participate in the war. But he hated the fact that she was regaining her fear. He looks her in the eyes. Trying to tell Elise that it will be fine. Everything will work out. But itโs hard to keep her gaze.
He canโt help but chuckle. โOh, I should definitely be scared of the guard. I am not strong. Just strategic.โ It was hard to tell which one was more helpful at times. โHmm. Well that is a problem.โ Thinking over her plan, โYeah, that could work. I might as well grab mine so that I can unpack.โ He didnโt have much. But he did have a lot of books. It was almost scary how heavy his stuff was.
