I found a post about what to do in an emergency situation. [Mostly deadly situations]
I thought I would share it on here, just for your safety.
Since, I’m not the author of this, I don’t know if it’s really 100% effective.
I don’t know martial arts, but I got the general idea:
elbow
kick
run
I’m very good at losing people when I’m being chased, like seriously good.
Of course I’ve never had to do it in an actually sinister situation but still it counts!
Not only is your elbow the strongest point on your body, it’s the quickest to extend and has the least nerve endings. Smacking someone with an elbow is very likely to knock their equilibrium without any training. It’s the first thing we teach in self defense classes, elbows and knees. Because they’re very easy, and very effective.
My tip - never aim for the privates. It works in films, but not in real life. Adrenaline kicks in almost instantly if you get hit in the privates, and it really doesn’t stop someone from attacking you. Throat, eyes, solar plexus (Roughly the middle of the torso) and knees are the weakest parts of the body. Those are the places you wanna defend and aim for!
Zig-zag running, turning lots of corners. Boom, you good.
Also, another tip for the ladies if you’re wearing heels. The longer and thinner the better for this. Jamming a heel into someone’s knee is gonna stop them pretty quick, you need to be fairly precise though so be careful
I’ve only been successful in doing this once, but basically as you run, really flick your heel and the slim heels will come off and go spinning at the person chasing you.
And if your close enough, there is a spot on the back of everyone’s neck that will make someone pass out if you squeeze it for about 3 seconds, although wouldn’t recommend this if you don’t know exactly where it is.
