As soon as Izzy mentioned Mexican food, Greer’s mouth started inadvertently watering. It definitely didn’t help that they hadn’t eaten lunch yet. If Greer loved Americanized Mexican food, they could only imagine how good the real thing tasted. They had to swallow again. ”What was your favorite thing you ate there? If you can’t pick just one, give me your top three.” When Izzy’s hand went to her backpack, Greer laughed. ”Hey, no problem. You can totally show me some other time. If you’re not busy, maybe I’ll come over after class. I want to see what souvenirs you brought, too.” When tacos were mentioned, Greer’s eyes grew huge, and they wiped their mouth. Yeah, they definitely needed to eat lunch before Izzy practically killed them with her vacation stories about food. ”Tacossss…” Greer muttered. To anyone who didn’t know Greer, they would look feral. They weren’t, though. Just food obsessed and hungry. Snapped back to reality when Izzy started talking about her family, they stopped dreaming about churros. [color=violet]”That’s great that you got to hang out with your family and learn more about your heritage.”[color=violet] Izzy then asked about them, and they smiled. ”We really just went to visit my grandparents and the rest of my family. Just your typical summer. We didn’t do much, but it was still fun.”
