In regards to Kayden mentioning he played the drums too. “No way, mate. Always nice to meet a fellow drummer. Don’t worry about being rusty, it’s like riding a bike, right? Once you’re back at it, muscle memory kicks in. We’ll have to jam sometime!”
Then Kayden mentioned he recently wasn’t an only child anymore, to which Jasper replied, “Oh, really? Until last year?” Jasper’s conveyed genuine interest and empathy. “That must’ve been quite an adjustment. I can imagine it’s a big change to suddenly have a sibling, especially if you were used to being on your own. How’s that been for you?”
“History and Geography, huh? That’s cool. It’s always interesting to learn about different places and the stories behind them,” Jasper responded with a friendly smile. Then Kayden said he would have never guessed Jasper did theatre, and it wouldn’t be Jasper if he didn’t add in some theatrics in his reply. “Well, my dear friend,” Jasper said, his voice taking on a melodramatic tone, “the stage is where the magic happens! One moment, you’re just an ordinary bloke, and the next, you’re whisked away to fantastical realms, embodying characters beyond your wildest imagination!” He gestured dramatically with his hands, emphasizing his point as if he were delivering lines in a Shakespearean play. “You see, theatre isn’t just about pretending; it’s about becoming someone else entirely, if only for a fleeting moment,” Jasper continued, his voice carrying a hint of theatrical flair. He then couldn’t help but let out a laugh himself about his impromptu acting. “So yeah, that’s what I do. I guess theatre isn’t something that people expect from me at first glance,” Jasper chuckles softly, his tone warm and friendly. “But it’s been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember. There’s just something about the stage that feels like home to me, you know?”
