Roux sighed, falling back on her bed with her arms spread. “Well, I’m afraid I couldn’t sleep because I missed you two sooo much,” she laughed. With a sigh, she began to answer the question honestly. “There was just too much happening. Had to pack a lot, travel for a whiiile, plus it’s my first time living without my parents. And a whole new state? Don’t get me started on that!”
Thinking of being in a foreign place, far from the comforts of the usual, reminded her of the time she’d moved to the USA with her family. She was only a child, faced with a grand new world she knew barely anything about. Before that, there wasn’t a time she’d felt so small and insignificant. Roux slowly sat up, sighing. She glanced at Piper sitting across her, then Koda. She wasn’t going to be alone this time, not with her friends by her side. A slight smile formed on her lips, before chuckling. “Glad I have ya guys by my side. Don’t know what I’d do here, I’d be suuuper bored,” she added at the end, trying to turn the tone more lighthearted. Aside from her sister Shiloh, those two were the only people she genuinely liked.
“By the way, how much time until class?” She asked with a tired expression. It was too early to think about this.
“You think it’s a joke? I’m still worried, a concussion can be dangerous.” They sighed, side eyeing Greer. “Fine, I’ll try not to worry. And uuh, I really need to learn to control my strength,” they laughed, looking at the door again. They especially had to learn when they’re taking wrestling classes soon.
As Greer talked about the cities in Michigan, Cal only nodded slowly. “Ohh… Aha…” They smiled awkwardly. They did not understand a thing. Still, their curiosity was piqued. “Yep, I’m not American. But motor city? That sounds like a fun story. Do you know more?” they asked.
The book they were reading seemed interesting though. Cal smiled, reaching for the desk. “I love reading new stuff. I’ll have to try it out then. Can I borrow it once you’re done?” Their hand rested on the cover.
Greer nodded. ”I have had concussions before, and I’m not feeling any symptoms. I really do appreciate you worrying even though we just met.” Cal then looked at the door, and Greer laughed. ”Yeah, definitely be careful with that. You could be a real force to be reckoned with.” Greer couldn’t help but smile at Cal’s confusion. ”Sorry, it’s up North. I can pull up a map if you want? Detroit is a very famous city. Have you heard of Ford motors? I can try and explain anything, and if I can’t, I’ll just look it up. I don’t have any issue.” Picking up the book, they simply handed it to Cal. ”You can just read it now. This is my second time reading it, anyway. I have no problem letting you borrow it. You know, I read that some people think she was either trans or non binary due to this book. Jo, one of the characters, is extremely tomboyish, and the book is believed to be semi autobiographical. We may never know, but I’m non binary, so…it feels good to believe that Louisa was too.” @viiel.x - Cal
Liv smiled as they reached the town. “I thought we were going to the cafe.” She said as they kept walking. She pointed to the cafe she was talking about. “Yeah that’s a good idea with the note. I mean… I want to give her the time and space she needs as well. I don’t want her to feel pressured to talk to me.”
Lorenzo smiled and chuckled. “Who knows. I’m sure my parents will be happy.” What she didn’t know is that he had told his parents and grandparents it was his fault they broke up. He didn’t want them to not like Chloe. So he lied to them.
Lila smiled as she opened the door seeing Owen. He told her how pretty she looked. “Well thank you.” She blushes and smiled. He then said “Can’t wait for our date. Ready to make some great memories?” She put her hand inside his after she shut and locked her door. “memories with you sound wonderful. Yes I’m ready for our date.” She smiled as they started walking. She didn’t mind the walk.
Camila was chewing when the guy asked for her name. She finished chewing and smiled. “I’m Camila. What’s your name?” She asked him as they sat there eating.
Killian smiled as he gently pulled away from the kiss. He honestly was just happy to know Leo loved him the same way he loved Leo. “I know but I just thought I would mess it up I didnt think you felt the same way.” Killian hugged Leo tight. “I get that I was scared too so I wasnt going to say anything even if you had my heart fully.” Killian nodded he was being fully honest. “Lets go get your hand fixed up though.” @ChayChay05
Killian smiles at him as he looks at Leo seriously now. “Well lets not forget about you and your mirror fighting.” Killian jokes and shakes his head. “But for real lets go get your hand settled out darling.” @ChayChay05
Leo shook his head as they walked. “okay. Let’s go.” He sighed. They slowly made their way to the clinic as they talked. The soon arrived at the clinic. They went in. Luckily nobody was there. So it wouldn’t be a long wait.
“No worries, mate! First parties can be a bit nerve-wracking. Your friend not being up for it either, well, that’s the perfect excuse to do something else.” Jasper said casually as he put himself down on a chair. “Parties can be hit or miss anyway. And hey, you’ll have plenty more chances if you ever feel like giving them a go.”
Jasper nodded as Finn said it was entertaining yet sad, “Yeah, you hit the nail on the head, mate! High school drama, a rollercoaster of emotions. Entertaining for sure, but a bit of a wild ride. Sometimes it’s like watching a soap opera in real life, you know?” He let out a clearly dramatic sigh as he said this.
Jasper just said “Sure thing” as Finn looked at his phone. He wasn’t quite sure what was going on but it seemed quite important for Finn.
“Ah, a freshman on scholarship! That’s awesome, mate.” Jasper thought it was quite an achievement to be able to get to this school on a scholarship. “Me? Just chasing the dream, mate, enjoying the theatre scene. The parental unit paid for it all.” While Jasper had told Brex the full story the previous day, he hadn’t quite found that level of comfort with Finn yet.
Owen couldn’t quite get enough of seeing Lila blush and smile, she was always really attractive, but it just made her that much prettier. He playfully yet genuinely meaning it said with a warm smile. “You’re welcome. It’s easy to compliment someone who looks as amazing as you do.”
Owen, delighted by Lila’s response, flashed a charming smile. "Glad to hear that. Our date is going to be fantastic," he said with enthusiasm. "Shall we head to the cinema, then?" He motioned in the direction of their destination with his free hand, as the other had intertwined with Lila’s. He was ready to embark on the afternoon filled with shared moments and new memories.
As they were walking, Owen decided to talk a bit about the movie ahead. "So, I actually have not yet purchased a ticket for a specific movie, but there are two starting at 14:30. I wanted you to have the choice," he explained, there always was space in the cinema, so Owen picked having some flexibility and allowing her to pick, “if you want something fun and light, they play a romantic comedy, or if you’re in the mood for a bit more adventure, there’s this new action-packed thriller that just came out. What do you feel like watching?”
Finn smiled and sat on his bed as Jasper sat in the chair. “yeah, I get that about parties. And yeah I’m sure there will be plenty to come.” He smiled at Jasper.then Jasper talked more and Finn listened. “yeah. If you see the drama and stuff it can definitely feel like a roller coaster ride. Or maybe with your own emotions it could.” He said as he thought about school and feelings. Finn then decided to text Kayden since Jasper said sure thing. He wondered how Kayden’s day was going so far.

Hey, I hope you are having a good day so far. Maybe we can meet up later.
He then put his phone down beside him. He looked back at Jasper as he talked. “Well theater sounds fun. I’m here because of my grades. I like taking photos though.” He added to let Jasper know a little more about him. He was happy his roommate didn’t seem weird. Finn then looked at Jasper. “Where are you from? And how old are you?” He asked really curious about it.
Lila blushed when Owen said “You’re welcome. It’s easy to compliment someone who looks as amazing as you do.” She felt the heat rush to her cheeks as she blushed. She smiled and then Owen said they should head out. She nodded her head as they started walking. Owen then said he didn’t purchase tickets yet. That he wanted to let her decide on the movie.
“I’m fine with whatever you want to watch. I like both those types of movies.” She said as she listened to him about the main two options there was. “We can figure it out when we get there if you want. We should get some nachos.” She smiled at him. She had never been to the movies before in her life. So she was excited.
We were walking right into town and Liv said that she thought we were going to the cafe. “Oh were we? I thought we just said get something to at but the Cafe sounds really good to me so lets go.” Liv also mentioned that she wants to give her ex friend and roommate some time and space. “Well I mean yeah but that way I said in like a month or so that way she as the time.”
Chloe nods her head and takes her sunglasses off now that she got her answer. She was a little shocked with how Lorenzo said that his parents will be happy which was really confusing to her. did he not tell them I cheated? Or did he say it was his fault when it was not at all. Why would he do that? She was debating on if she should ask him or not but she figured she would since she is very curious. “Why would they be happy? I mean you broke up with me? Did you not tell them the truth on what happened?” She appreciated it if he did but how his family would react after the news she would have to deal with it as she should.
Joy noticed Theo look at his phone so she figured for some reason he needed to go or got a text. “Okay well you go and get your classroom cleaned then I just wanted to try to meet with you and see if there was anything we both needed to know or any concerns.” She smiles at him
As he and Brex were eating and talking Kayden got a text and looked at his phone and saw the name pop up as blondie so he knew it was Finn. He opened the text and read it. He decided to text him back

Hey there Blondie. Yeah I believe I might be free later I will let you know. Roommate and I re eating breakfast now together and trying to get a chance to know each other.
Liv smiled. “Yeah, we did say the cafe, but all good you forgot. We were talking about a lot.” She giggled as they made their way to the cafe. Liv thought about Evelyn some more. She really did miss her best friend. She sighed as they entered the cafe. “Table or booth? or at the bar top?” Liv didn’t know what else to call the counter that you could sit at and order that was in front of the kitchen. There wasn’t alcohol there or anything. “Yeah, she has had 3 months already. Maybe another month might help more.” She shrugged as they stood there and she waited for Madi’s answer about where to sit.
Lorenzo smiled. “Well even though, yes you cheated on me, no I didn’t tell them that part. I just told them that we broke up because we didn’t get to see each other enough. I told them that we felt because of the distance that it was better to be friends.” He didn’t want to tell her that he told them that it was all on him. He didn’t want her to feel bad. He did it because her knew how much his family loved Chloe and he didn’t want their opinion on her to change just because of a drunken night. He loved her still at the time and didn’t want his family judging her for one stupid mistake. “I did it because I love you Chloe. I have since we first met five years ago.” He said as he smiled at her and held her hand.
Theo smiled at Joy. “Okay. I don’t have any concerns at the moment. I will go work on my office more. If ya need me call or text me.” He said with a smile as he got up and left her office. He shut the door as he left. He then walked back to his office. Once he got there he decided to text Evelyn and see if she wanted to come help him set up his office. He knew this would be a good way to check in on her from all the drama of last year. He sat down at his desk. He pulled out his phone.
Evelyn
Hey, It’s Mr. Halstead the guidance Counselor. I was wondering if you could come to my office. Maybe help me set it up for the year.
He hoped the text didn’t sound bad or give anyone the wrong impression.
“Sorry i’ve been thinking a lot plus like you said we have been talking.” She smiles and looks around then Liv asked if they should sit at the counter, table or a booth. “Hmm we can sit at the counter if ya want, plus it looks like there is less people up there.” I say and we go and sit down and then I look at Liv. “Yeah give her a little time and if you need like a mediator just have me or someone else there.”
Chloe listened and smiled but still felt bad that he didn’t tell them the truth but she figured he must have not told them the full truth because of a certain reason which she did appreciate. He also mentioned that he loved her and loved her since the first time they met 5 years ago. “Baby I love you to more than you know and ever will ad I appreciate you half telling them the truth but don’t you think that they deserve to know the full truth? Even if it changes there thoughts or opinions of me?” She knew that she loved im very much maybe not as ling as Lorenzo loved her but she has liked him for 3-4 years now and they dated in that time frame so she was happy. She looks down and holds her mans hand as well and leaned over and kissed him on the lips.
Koda sat in a chair and listened to the girls talk and Roux explained why she could not sleep. Koda doesn’t mind being at a different school or state than his family. Yes he will miss them and loves them but he likes the option of living on his own without his parents there. “Yeah it is a lot to take in Roux especially if you are close to your family. Now you are offically living all alone without them close to you.”
Koda then laughs when Roux said that she would have been super bored without here. I mean she is not wrong Pipes and I and Roux we are all life of the party so when one or oth people are not there is isn’t as fun and kind of boring. “Yadamn skippy would have been bored without us here. It is always so much better when there is all of us around each other. And umm love classes don’t start until tomorrow.”
Brex smiled hearing that Kayden wanted to cook and didnt feel obligated to. “I have no food allergies or honestly allergies at all that I know of. And im pretty open to try anything at least once.” Brex shrugged and finished his glass of milk and took a mug out to make a cup of tea. “Anything you cant or dont like to eat?” Brex didnt want to unintentionally make something that his roommate couldnt eat or didnt like.
Brex smiled at him and giggled a little when it was obvious that Kayden had looked at his side of the room and noticed his instruments. “Nah mate its all good I was just giving you a hard time. I honestly didnt know how much you had been in the room either since I was out most of the day yesterday.” Brex admitted nodding. “Yeah pretty much been in music since I was born my mum had me playing with her bass when i was pretty little and dad taught me to actually play when i was a little older. Took me longer to learn tow write music and as far as sheet music type writing is concerned its still not my strongest.” Brex knew that if someone who was good at writing sheet music looked at all his little notes they would call it garbage but it made sense to him and that was enough. He also had a lot of voice memos to himself of little cord combinations he liked because he was always better at playing by ear than actually reading music even though he could read sheet music. Brex nodded glad that Kayden didnt know his dad’s band well. “Ah all good honestly they have good music but im glad you are not some avid follower or something like that. And honestly if you ever want to hear more of that i do know how to play all their songs.” Brex thought that maybe hearing his dad’s favorite song again might make loosing him easier. Brex sighed in relief that Kayden wasnt still in the center. “Thats good to hear that someone adopted you honestly I was about to offer to find you someone if you were still there. Im glad that you ended up here man you seem cool.” @Kate
Liv smiled as she walked over to the counter. “don’t be sorry. and the counter is perfect.” She smiles at Madi and takes a seat. Liv listened to what madi said. “Thanks, that sounds nice. Might want someone there just in case she gets upset. Nice to know you will do it for me.” Liv smiled then she looked to the menu to decide what she wanted to eat and drink.
Lorenzo smiled at her. He loved her since they started dating is what he meant to say which was five years ago. They had known each other for like ten years. “No… The full truth is between you and I. They don’t need to know. I don’t want their opinions of you to change baby. I know we started dating five years ago, and we broke up three years ago, but I have loved you the whole time. I didn’t tell them because I love you too much to let them think badly of you for a mistake that you apologized for already.” He said as they kept holding hands but after they kissed.
Piper giggled at them. “Yeah, we aren’t late for classes. Just late getting here compared to everyone else.” She giggles at Roux. “yeah, I get not being able to sleep much because of the anxiety of coming here. I was the same actually.” She smiled and nudged Roux lightly. “Of course it would be boring without us. The three of us together is the best.” She smiled at them both.
Killian sat with Leo as they took x rays of his hand and waited to see what was going on. Killian was honestly kind of nervous. Leo’s hand looked really bad. @ChayChay05
They had did the x-rays. They made Leo move his hand all weird ways which hurt pretty bad. However he tried not to let the pain show. He walked back out with Killian. They told him a few things. So he sat down beside Killian. “Well they said they would call us to the back when they get a room open. Which shouldn’t be long. They just wanted to go ahead and do the x-rays so the doctor can look at them.” He said as he sat next to Killian and held his hand.
Kayden finished everything and got his plates and glass as Brex was telling him there was nothing that he liked or was allergic to as far as he knew which made Kayden happy since it was easier to cook meals. Brex asked him if he was allergic to something or didn’t like. “Hmm not really. Not the biggest fan of Mushrooms but I would still eat them though. I learned to be grateful for what you have and eat because some people sadly don’t have the luxury, plus the way my sibling acts sometimes it isn’t right and makes people feel bad.”
Kayden chuckled at Brex as he said he was giving him a hard time and was not sure how long he was in the room. “Yeah I was not really in the room until bedtime and at that I just changed and brushed my teeth and then passed out until I woke up.” He enjoyed hearing stories about Brex’s childhood and his parents. Brex wasn’t getting too deep into his family but he understood, it was probably hard growing up without a mom and his dad performing a lot and not spend too too much time together. “well that is a sweet thing that you and your parents had. I know you said its been awhile since you lost your mom but I still am really sorry for your loss man. As for it being longer to learn sheet music that’s ok. As they say practice makes perfect.” He smiles and starts cleaning some of the dishes.
Kayden thought about what Brex said about how he is glad that he is not an avid fan of his dad’s band and that if he wants to listen to more to let him know. “Listen man say even if I was a big fan of your dad and his band, I probably would not make a big deal of who you are. I mean is it cool to know of course and i’m sure you have learned a lot and have some good experiences you could talk about but honestly you are just a human being like me, the only thing is you were born into people that made there dreams come true and are good at what they do. But my guess maybe is that your parents grew up like normal kids like myself.”
Madi smiles and takes a seat next to Liv and she looks at the Menu’s the waitress gave them. [color=yellow= “My stomach is growling so loud its like Madison feed me now.” [/color] Madi laughs which was the truth it was growling loudly. She was not sure if Liv could hear it or not but she knew it was. She also could not believe that she used her first full name but she didn’t care. All her friends call her Madi and sometimes her mom and other times her mom calls her Madison but when her moms pissed then she hates her full first name. “So when id your first game or match in Volleyball. Sorry I am not ssure what you girls call it.”
Chloe smiled at her man’s talk and nodded she did understand. She was at least honest with her parents but say if he hurt her, she would probably tell her family the same thing about the half truth saying the same thing that it was mutual and they were better off of being friends or at least for now. After he talked he kissed her back and then when they pulled apart she kept holding his hand as well. “I really missed you Lorenzo and love you. This is the last time I will say it but I want you to know for a fact and all my truth. I really do apologize for what I did, I should have just tried to talk to you instead of going to that party and drinking and kissing the guy, I will always regret that and feel terrible. I know it was years ago and you probably forgiven me and part of me forgave myself but I still will always regret it and I will always be sorry for it.”
Liv giggled with Madi when she said her stomach was growling so loud. “Yeah sometimes our stomachs growl. No big thing. Mine is so loud sometimes others can hear it like it’s silent in the room but it won’t be.” She giggled She kept looking at the menu, but the waitress took their drink order. Madi then asked “So when id your first game or match in Volleyball. Sorry I am not sure what you girls call it.” Liv loved that Madi was asking her about her sport. “Well the first practice is next week. Tryouts are at the end of this week. So our first game will be in about three weeks. We have multiple matches in a game. or is it games in a match. Either way that’s how it works.” She giggled at herself since she isn’t even sure which way people looked at it.
Lorenzo listened as Chloe talked and they held hands. “I get that love…However we can’t change the past. Yes I have forgiven you. Is part of me scared you will cheat again, of course. However I have to trust that you won’t because you love me. So I will keep my head up and remember the good times from the past. I can’t wait to make more great memories with you in the future. I have missed you too as well as I love you more than anything. You pick me up when I’m down. You make me feel like I’m invincible. I know I’m not though.” He chuckled and smiled at her. “Thank you for giving us another chance at this crazy thing called love. Honestly, I don’t know if there is anyone else in the world I would rather do this with. I have searched over the past three years for someone to compare to you and nobody came close. You are just so amazing and wonderful. I know you love me for me. Not because of my money, fame, name or status. I know you are true and honest. Even if you did cheat on me back then. We are moving forward and starting anew.” He said as he smiled. He was the happiest he had ever been to be honest.
