Liv smiled and nodded as Madi talked. “Yes, eating first sounds great. I haven’t really hung out with anyone either to be honest. I met my roommate briefly. We walked to the party together than went our separate ways.” Liv smiled as she thought about last night. She really needed to find a girlfriend. She thought about this as they walked to town. She kept talking while thinking…
Lorenzo smiled and listened to Chloe. “Yeah, I can do that. When you find out what teachers you have let me know.” He smiled. He couldn’t believe what he had just told her. He was nervous for her reaction. HE didn’t even realize he was holding his breath. Chloe then said * “Wow really Lorenzo? I thought after what I did you hated me and didn’t feel that way about me but you had a reason. Truth be told Lorenzo, Adrian and I talked last night as well and I still may possibly have feelings for you to. I was scared to say or mention anything because I figured you might reject me. I told Adrian that maybe now that we are actually in the same place maybe if we tried things again it would be different this time.”* When he heard her say this he let out his breath. It was a relief for him for sure. “Yes, really Chlo. Yes you hurt me Chloe, but that doesn’t mean I don’t still love you. I would love; since we are in the same place; to try again and see where it goes. Chloe, if I’m honest… I actually haven’t had a girlfriend since you. I went on a few dates of the last three years, but never felt a connection with them. You have always been in the back of my mind with every girl I went out with. They didn’t compare to you. They didn’t look like you. They didn’t act like you. They didn’t smile the way you did. They just weren’t you Chloe. Please let’s give this another go.”
Theo sat there for a minute. He tried to think of all the returning students. “Well I would have to say I know we have a lot of new students this year. However I think I should check in on Leopold, KIllian, Jayda, Vincenzo, Adrian, Lila, Katrina, Evelyn, and Robin.” HE said as he thought of the ones he knew for sure that would need his help with either graduation stuff or other things. He knew he had a few more seniors who weren’t issue related. HE smiled at Joy.
Madi smiles as Liv agreed that eating sounded good first. She was excited since she did not eat and also that she has or maybe has a friend to hangout with. She thought about texting her mom and letting her know that she is going off campus and hanging with a friend but she figured she is busy with work or meetings so she won’t bother her. If her mom wants to know she will have her mom reach out to her. “Oh wow that sounds kind of rough. Do you know who your roommate is?” Madi asked curiously as she wanted to know if she knew the person herself or just heard of them since she has been at the school for close to 3 years now.
Madi kept walking with Liv and noticed Liv really looked out of it like she would have walked into a pole hard and not of noticed or said anything until she walked into it hard. “Uh Liv are you okay? If your busy or not feeling well its fine we can hangout another time if that’s better and easier.”
Chloe nods her head when he mentioned when she knows what teachers she has to let hi know. She was happy that he would help a little and hopefully give her some warning on the teacher. luckily Chloe was never a trouble maker or like a problem child in school. Her dealing was defiantly considered trouble.
Chloe listened to everything Lorenzo said and it really made her happy. She was nervous to honestly start another relationship again because what if she messes up again, or they break up for some reason and it ruins there close friendship. No matter what Chloe will love Lorenzo even if they were not friends but is it worth it to ruin any chance. He also told her that he hasn’t been with anyone else serious he has been on a few dates but no one compared to her. She was honestly flattered by that. “I haven’t had a boyfriend since you either. I actually took a break from dating in general for 5 months and then I started to go on dates but no one became my boyfriend. They were great people but I only felt a friendship connection with them not like our connection. I know I hurt you Lor but I promise to never do that again whether you are here or its break and your off traveling somewhere I promise not to cheat again. I want to try again Lorenzo I really do, but I am also scared annd nervous. Is that bad?”
Nods her head in understanding that he needs to check in with them plus he probably needs to look at there files. [color= steelblue] “Okay sounds good if there is anything that concerns you that I can assist with or need to bring to my attention please feel free to do so.” [/color] She then thought about asking about her daughter, she wasn’t sure if she should or not since technically she can look at her grades and if there was anything wrong se would most likely talk to her, but then again her daughter is a teenager who doesn’t like to tell there parents anything. “Can I ask you how my daughter is? I don’t look at her file much and I think she would tell me if something is wrong but then again she is a teenager. Not a lot of teenagers talk to there parents.”
KIllian was a shy blushing mess as he waited on what Leo’s reaction to that vital piece of information would be. Killian took Leo’s hand and gently rubbed circles on it with his thumb. “I didnt think you were into me like that and I dont have a lot of friends especially ones as good as you are too me so I didnt say anything earlier because I didnt want to mess things up with us.” he mumbled as he bit his lip.
Killian smiled when He heard Leo. “I knew I liked Brex. Im glad he helped you realize that though otherwise Ill be honest I wouldnt have ever made a move.” Killian nodded to Leo. Of course he had liked Leo since the kissed but Killian hadnt realized thats when Leo decided he liked guys. “So I was your gay awakening?” Killian asked with a giggle. Killian kissed him back still smiling @ChayChay05
Brex was glad that Kayden liked the idea of sharing dishes duty. He honestly thought maybe some time together would get Kayden to relax a bit. “Perfect man and you really dont have to repay me for making breakfast only cook for both of us if you want. I just honestly dont know how to cook in small quantities so everything I make is always at least two servings even if I am really only trying to make one.” he admitted before taking a few drinks from a glass of milk. Brex smiled. “Im sold on making dinner with you tomorrow. What kind of food are you thinking. Im honestly open to anythin. We might just have to go pick some ingredients up.”
Brex had realized he had his long sleeves rolled up a bit from when he was cooking and pulled them down trying not to be suspicious about it. He didnt want Kayden to see his scars yet though he didnt want that conversation yet. It had went well with Jasper that didnt mean it would go well again. “Im sure Jasper wouldnt mind but I can totally ask him just to be certain.” Brex chuckled a little when Kayden asked him if he played anything. His half of the room was already littered with sheet music and scraps of paper with lyrics but most importantly two guitars hung on the wall and his bass was on a stand by the closet. “I like strings man I have my electric and acoustic guitar on the wall by my bed and my bass by the closet on a stand. I can sing its just not something I enjoy all that much. I mean im good at it but find no enjoyment from singing.”
Brex sighed a little when Kayden asked who his dad was. If he knew how his dad was he would probably know all the drama surrounding Brex and his drug use too. He was going to have to bite the bullet sooner or later though. “If you like metal music you have probably at least heard of him. My dad is Ash Gray he is lead of Dark Sword.” (think of it as some super famous rock band) Brex sighed but listened to him and he was shocked when he heard Kayden say what happened to his parents. “I know its not the same but I get loosing a parent my mom died of cancer. And I know this might not be the best offer but I can take you to the music room they have drums you can use when you want. You can call me a right bloody a$$ if this hits a nerve but are you still alone and at the adoption center?” Brex wanted to know if his roommate was an orphan because his home life might not be great but he didnt want this guy who seemed so genuinely sweet to have no one. “Im also here if you need me as like support. Kayden kept eating and drinking some water as he was more of a water guy than coffee or milk, or juice. As Brex mentioned for Kayden to only cook if he wants to he smiled at Brex. “No I want to, I don’t feel obligated or anything like that so it’s ok I really do not mind. As what to cook I’m really up for anything as well we can figure that out. I guess I should ask are you allergic to anything or is there something you don’t like to eat?”
He didn’t really notice that Brex’s sleeves were rolled up or anything, and when he did it was very brief and quick but did not see anything like scratches, he just figured he was hot from the cooking. Kayden then looked at Brex’s side of the room and noticed everything then. “Sorry for not noticing that, when I came back it was alate and dark and I just woke up so I did not really look around my bad but hey that’s Awesome that you play and can write music, I bet you are good at it.” He then mentioned who his dad was and the band he was in, and Kayden felt like he heard the band name before. He thought back and remembered a time where his dad and him worked on a car and his dad saying something about his favoirte band and mentioned the band that is why it sounded familiar but he never listened to them or looked into the band. “I’ve only heard of one song by them. My dad and I used to work on cars together when I grew up and the song that just came up he said it was his favorite band and he mentioned the name, but other than that day I never listened or looked into them ever and my dad didn’t really talk just would say it was a good band but still it’s cool man. I won’t mention it again I promise. As for your question, no I am not in the adoption center anymore. A few weeks after my parents died a family saw it on the news since it was a little town it was a major thing so it was all over the news. They came to the center and actually adopted me. They were rich which was a shock to me since I only lived in a tiny apartment with my parents and the son absolutely hated me for a few weeks but then he got used to me and became nicer. But I promised my parents before they died that I would go to a good school or college and keep up my grades and since they passed I wanted to keep my promise to them and found out about this school and applied and got in and also got a scholarship because of my grades.”
Liv smiled as Madi talked. Madi asked who her roommate was. “Some new girl named Victoria. She seems nice. We both love Volleyball.” That’s all she could really remember about her proper England roommate. Liv got snapped out of her thoughts when Madi said “Uh Liv are you okay? If your busy or not feeling well its fine we can hangout another time if that’s better and easier.” Liv smiled as Madi “Yeah, I’m fine. Sorry was just lost in my train of thought. Thinking about finding a girlfriend.” She smiled as they walked.
Lorenzo smiled and listened as Chloe talked. “No, it’s not bad at all that you are nervous and scared. I feel the same way. I’m nervous and scared too. However if we don’t try… how will we ever know what we could be? I mean we could be great.” He said as he smiled and looked her in the eyes. “You are amazing and the best lady I know. I might be scared and nervous, but I feel we have to try again.” He said as he leaned in and kissed her cheek.
Theo listened as she talked. “Yes ma’am, I sure will.” He smiled then she continued talking. So he listened more. She asked him about her daughter. Truth was he hadn’t seen her much. Not even last year as a freshman. “Well I don’t actually see her often. I think I met her last year and maybe saw her once other then that. So I’m sure she is doing great ma’am. However I will let you know if I talk with her.”
Leo and Killian kissed for a minute. He had heard everything Killian said but needed it to set in. So he kept kissing Killian for a moment. He then pulled away. “You could never mess things up with us babe. As for the last thing you said. I guess you were. It’s been you since that day. I honestly just think that… well that I was scared of losing my best friend. I would rather have you as my best friend than not have you.” He said being honest with Killian.
Madi kept walking with Liv and she told her about her roommate and how they love volleyball. Then she said she was thinking about finding a girlfriend which thought was interesting not in a bad way though. “Well that is good about your roommate and that you guys have something in common. Who knows maybe you will be on the same team so you can talk more about games, and stats.” Madi wanted to ask Liv what her sexuality was but was not sure if that was really appropriate to ask someone that she barely talked to and if this stuff is uncomfortable. She remembers last year a secret that came out about Liv but she thought it was just a rumor and never really asked her.
“Well I am sure you will find one. You seem nice and are pretty so I don’t think you will have an issue finding a girlfriend. I actually remember your secret coming out but I honestly thought that was just a rumor, and you never confirmed so I didn’t think anything of it. But can I ask what is your sexuality?” Madi was hoping that she didn’t just ruin there possible friendship by asking this question.
Chloe allows him to kiss her cheek. She figured they were friends before they dated last time and even though it didn’t end the best they still stayed really good friends which she was greatful for so she figured why the hell not and maybe it will be different here. “Before I say yes can we talk about a few things first. It’s nothing bad but I want to make sure we get answers or make sure of something first. I just wanted to say that I know I trust you with friends and even girls, but how would you feel with me hanging out with friends? Would you trust me? Also what if i’m hanging with my girls but there is a guy or two in the friend group how would you feel about that.”
Joy looks and listens intently about everything he said especially about her daughter. “You don’t have to tell me if you talk with her. I just need you to tell me if she is in any danger whether that is with herself or other people. You and her have confidentiality just like any student here that sees you. Just like discipline is my thing and no ones business unless there kid is here and gets in trouble or a danger. I’m glad that you may have only seen her once.”
Liv smiled. “Yeah maybe. Only time will tell. I am glad we have something in common. Gives us something to chat about while we are in the dorm room at the same time.” She giggled. Liv smiled. “I’m a lesbian. It was actually my ex best friend’s secret that came out. I was already out. However I’m the one who accidentally told everyone. Well she told me and didn’t tell me not to tell anyone. I was excited and happy. I mean my best friend was a lesbian too. However she got mad at me and now we don’t talk.” Liv blurted out.
Lorenzo looked at Chloe and listened. He wasn’t quite sure how he felt about that. He thought for a moment. “I mean as long as you aren’t flirty with them I don’t think I would mind it.” It would only bother him if she flirted with other guys. Hell who knows it might bother him if other guys flirt with her too but only time would tell with that one. “My only female friend other then you is Hope who I don’t hardly talk to to be honest. I don’t have many friends here. Most people only want to use me for my money.” He said being truthful to her.
Theo listens to the boss lady. “Yes ma’am. I get that. I will let you know if there is anything concerning.” He said with a smile. He really wanted the kids this year to like him. He wanted them to trust him and tell him anything. So that meant probably not telling her about much.
Chloe felt embarrassed that she got the wrong person on the rumor part but now she knows what was said is true by Liv’s confession. Madi understood why she told since no one said she can’ tell but Madi would have not said anything or asked if she could tell someone as it was still a respect thing and that is that person’s business no one else’s. She wouldn’t like her secrets getting out or her dad leaving her and her mom. “I get why you did it but I understand why your ex best friend is mad as well. Do you ever feel bad about what happened? As for being lesbian that is cool”
Chloe listened to him as he spoke and explained his side and reasoning. “Well I was asking because I am assuming even though it’s been years there still must be some trust issues you have with me which I wouldn’t blame you for if you did. Baby I trust you no matter what, my only thing was you were gone more than you were here and when I needed you it wasn’t as easy since time zones or service issues. But now that we are here I won’t have that issue or worry.”
Chloe then was thinking of more of the questions or concerns she had and was debating she should should keep asking or not. It wasn’t a lot more it was just one more thing which worried her about his answer. She decided to put on the sun glasses so he couldn’t exactly see her face when she gets the answer. “My other concern love is what if something happens and we break up again? I mean this time it really could affect our friendship and could be worse. I am scared that we will lose that for real this time. We were lucky that we stayed good friends after what happened.”
Liv listened to Madi. “Well you see. I only told one person who was suppose to be a good friend to me. I didn’t know she was gonna tell everyone. Since I told the one person and she told everyone the blame all got put on me. Yes I have felt bad about trusting the n person with the secret. I didn’t intentionally tell though. My other friend and I were talking and she asked me about being lesbian and I was like yeah. I am. I know someone else too. It’s more recent though. Then they kept hounding me. Eventually they figured out who it was and told everyone. I never actually said her name. The person just knew by my face I guess who it was. I tried several times to explain that to my friend. However she never wanted to hear or listen to me. So it made the last week of school very weird since we were roommates and not talking.” Liv felt better getting that off her chest. they were almost into town now.
Lorenzo listened to Chloe and smiled. “Yes you definitely won’t have to worry about distance, or crappy service, or time zones baby. I’m here. I’m not going anywhere. At least not till the summer. However the only place I will probably go is my grandparents house to be honest. I don’t travel with my parents anymore. Not since I got in here.” He then kept listening to Chloe speak. She said

I am scared that we will lose that for real this time. We were lucky that we stayed good friends after what happened.” He took a deep breath. “My love as long as you don’t cheat on me again. I don’t see this ending. However if it did end I don’t think you would lose me. Honestly I don’t want to lose you either. However if you cheat on me again… I might need space and time before we could have a friendship. What I’m trying to say is that no matter what we will be friends.”
Theo sat there for a minute. He tried to think of something. Anything to ask her. “Well ma’am as of right now I don’t think I have any questions, but if I think of any I’ll let ya know.” He smiles and winks at her.
They kept walking and she could start seeing some of the buildings so she knew that they were almost there. Madi’s stomach was growling she just was hoping it is not loud enough for Liv to hear as it would probably be a little embarrassing. Liv explained the whole thing about what happened. “Well maybe your ex roommate will listen to you someday. It is probably hard for her and kids these days are awful so she was probably scared what would happen to her and how people would react. Plus if there family did not know for any reason maybe they were scared it would get back to there family and as you probably know some families do not accept that stuff sadly.”
Chloe nods her head and felt a little bit better. She knew that she was not going to cheat again it made her feel like crap, plus it made her feel worse when her friends, parents and sisters made her feel even worse about herself. Chloe was far from perfect and she knew it but she really did want to be a better person in general. Chloe also knew to make sure that she was good that she would not drink at parties and if she did she would be aroud him so if she had the urge to kiss anyone it would be her man. Chloe still never told Lorenzo the things her parents said and did when he was here and she was home but she was not going to tell him yet. She was not sure if she was even ever going to tell him since it was done and over with.
“Well that makes me feel better baby it really does. I can promise you that I will not cheat on you again. I know actions speak louder than words so I will prove it to you. I already know that when I am at a party I will not drink or if I do at least I won’t get wasted and do that. But if I do drink I will only drink with you there and besides me so if I get drunk and want to kiss someone I got you to kiss. I’ll figure it out to make sure it will never happen again.”
As he talked Joy looked back at her computer as an email came in so she did not see him winking. He told me that there was nothing he has questions or concerns about and that he will let me know if there was. “Okay then i’m glad to hear it. How is the office coming along by the way?”
Robin assumed she would be grumpy about him taking so long and that he would need to apologize again. He understood how hangry she must be since she probably hasn’t eaten anything today and he’s taking so long. However, she immediately said “It’s okay.” Which made him pleasantly surprised. She also suggested they sit together, and he felt that woul be a good opportunity for him to explain to her his abrasion to some foods and why exactly he’s not likely to eat normally. “I would love to sit with you.” He said before following her to the table she picked and sat down. On first glance his plate might looks like a strange option to eat, and he knew it. I mean it was only mashed potatoes and some broccoli on the side of the mash and a glass of water. Nothing else. “I swear I’m not a psycho, I’m just real particular about my food.” He couldn’t explain himself, at least not to a complete stranger, and not so early in the conversation with one.
“So where do you want to go handsome? And that sounds like a fun night as well.” Ken was going to get a nosebleed at this point. No matter how Rodney addressed him he felt tingles. “I—Rodney?” Birdie could hardly believe he was gonna say this. “Please don’t be offended by this, but can you just call me Ken?” He asked, looking anywhere but Rodney. “You’re hot, and it feels like I’m going to have a heart attack every time you call me a pet name. Ken admitted, his voice reduced dramatically. He hoped Rodney couldn’t feel his quickened pulse.
“I’m fine with whatever you want.” Enzo winked, “if you say so. Una sorpresa ti aspetta(a surprise awaits you). No going back, I get to choose.” Enzo sing sang, almost like he was gloating. He couldn’t help but chuckle at his own tone. “You’re so handsome baby. We could probably both use a toothbrush.” She giggled putting on her heels and approaching him. “Well with these heels I’m your height.” She giggled more. “Woah woah woah ragazza(girl). That’s a clear power imbalance. You can’t be the hot one and the tall one,” he said smiling, pulling her into a hug. He couldn’t help but chuckle.
Liv smiled and understood what Madi was saying. Madi said “Well maybe your ex roommate will listen to you someday. It is probably hard for her and kids these days are awful so she was probably scared what would happen to her and how people would react. Plus if there family did not know for any reason maybe they were scared it would get back to there family and as you probably know some families do not accept that stuff sadly.” Liv thought about what Madi said. “Yeah. You’re right. Some people’s families aren’t accepting.” She said as they got into the town.
Lorenzo listened to choke talk. “I appreciate that love. It’s a good place to start. I’m here, and I don’t plan on going out of town ever. When you fly home for holidays I’ll fly with you.” He smiles at her. He leans in and kisses her lips softly.
Theo smiled at Joy. “My office is coming along. I don’t have much done yet honestly. Just got one picture hung up. Got my computer set up and ready to go.” He said with a shrug
Camila smiled at the guy when he said sure he would sit with her. She still couldn’t believe how opened she was being. Well today was only because the guy was taking too long and it pissed her off some. She smiled as he said he wasn’t picky. “I’m not judging you or anything.” She said as she started eating.
Rodney and Ken were walking hand in hand. When Ken said * “I—Rodney? Please don’t be offended by this, but can you just call me Ken? You’re hot, and it feels like I’m going to have a heart attack every time you call me a pet name.”* He whispered the last part. Rodney couldn’t help but to smile as he knew Ken probably liked him too. “Yeah. I can call you Ken. Sorry. I didn’t mean to make you feel uncomfortable.” He said being serious. He only wanted Ken happy. He then stopped walking. “Ken, you know I like you right. Like I know it’s too early right now but like I want you to be my boyfriend possibly one day.” He said as they stood there face to face.
Jade giggled at Enzo. “Baby I would go back. I told you it was your choice.” She giggled and giggled. He then said “Woah woah woah ragazza(girl). That’s a clear power imbalance. You can’t be the hot one and the tall one,” She giggled at this. “Well baby. Then I guess we will have an imbalance, because I’m only an inch shorter than you. So when I wear almost all my heels I’ll be taller.” She giggled at him as they hugged.
We got into town and Madi was so happy to be in town again. She went a lot this summer into the town with her friends and sometimes herself when she was bored and needed to get out of the house. “Exactly so that is probably why she is mad or upset but i’m sure eventually they will talk to you again just give them time. Now that may not make it where you guys will be friends again but you guys can talk about it.”
Chloe kisses her man back on the lips for a little bit then pull apart. "Baby you don’t have to fly with me if you don’t want to plus who knows when I get out maybe we will finish finals on different days or something I don’t know. We will figure out our relationship together.”
Joy nods her head. She understood how long and much it takes to set up the classrooms and offices. She had Madison help her a few times this summer as well but not too much. “Well that is good then. Hopefully it will all be set up soon. Are you excited to meet with the old students and the new students this year?”
Liv listened to Madi. “Yeah, you got a point. I do hope she talks to me evenutally. Even though she hates me… I still care about her.” Liv smiled at Madi. Truth was I probably cared about her more than I should. I felt part of me… Well maybe… I might love her more than a friend. I could never tell Evelyn that though. She won’t even talk to me. Liv’s mind was racing. She couldn’t believe the thoughts that just went through her head. That can’t be true. She thought as they got to the cafe.
Lorenzo pulled away from the kiss. Chloe then said "Baby you don’t have to fly with me if you don’t want to plus who knows when I get out maybe we will finish finals on different days or something I don’t know. We will figure out our relationship together.” He listened to her carefully. “Yes love we will figure it out together. I’m just saying I want to spend break with you.” HE reached for her hand to hold it as they sat there and talked.
Theo smiled as they talked. “Yes, I’m excited to talk with the students once classes start tomorrow. Yes my office will be done by tomorrow. Who knows maybe I can get one of the older students to come help.” He said as they sat there and he thinks. He was thinking maybe Adrian, Evelyn or Robin could help him. He was leaning more to see if Evelyn could help him.

Madi understood that she did want to speak to her still or again sometime. “”yeah just take it one day at a time and maybe a month into school maybe write a note to her just saying that you want to talk and your not looking to be friends but just want to explain. Tell her it will take 5 minutes of her time. At some point she will forgive you. Will she forget what happened no.”
They then get to town and all the buildings and businesses and a few restaurants showed up. “So where do you want to go eat?”
Choose smiles at her man. She really couldn’t believe that he still liked her and wants to try this again especially how hurt he got from her. [color=limegreen] “yay I can’t wait baby for that. I wonder how the fam will feel when I tell them we are back together. Hopefully happy but then again they will probably give me a lecture.” [color=limegreen]

Joy nods her head. “that sounds like a great idea and it may be a great time to talk to them. Find out about there summer and whatever else that they or you need to talk about with them.”
As their roommate’s chair swung back, Cal’s eyes widened. They sprinted straight towards it, but to their misfortune, they were too late to catch it. They squinted their eyes, grimacing as it hit the ground. “Shoot…” they said under their breath, watching as the other person got up. “Are you okay? I’m so sorry, I didn’t mean to scare you,” they chuckled awkwardly, reaching down to lift the chair and book off the ground. As they stood back up, their brows furrowed in concern looking at their roommate. “Concussion? Are you hurt anywhere? Do you need help? Should I call for someone?” Cal asked frantically. Their hand extended forward to give back the book.
They then answered their roommate’s question about their hometown. “Oh well, I’m from a pretty poor neighborhood, not used to elite private schools at all. I have no idea where Flint and Detroit are, though,” they laughed. As Greer introduced themself, Cal’s eyes focused on the book. “What’s that about?” they smiled, sitting down on the bed next to Greer. “I don’t think I’ve ever read that before.”

As Lila opened the door, Owen couldn’t help but smile. She looked perfect, and what she was wearing felt so authentically her, yet still undeniably date-appropriate. His eyes lingered on her, appreciating the effort she put into getting ready.
“Hello, beautiful! You look stunning today,” Owen complimented, unable to hide the genuine admiration in his voice. Wanting to make the moment special, he leaned in and placed a quick but tender kiss on her forehead. “Can’t wait for our date. Ready to make some great memories?” he continued, his hand extended for hers, hoping to feel the warmth of her touch as they embarked on their date this afternoon together.
Owen felt a slight twinge of embarrassment realizing he hadn’t arranged any transportation to the cinema, but he quickly reassured himself. The cinema was just a 10-minute walk, and he hoped it wouldn’t be much of an inconvenience. Besides, the walk presented the perfect opportunity for them to chat and enjoy each other’s company before the movie.
Greer shrugged lightly at their roommate’s worry. ”I’m fine, don’t worry. The concussion part was a joke. I think…anyway, I’m fine for now. I’ll just be careful. Don’t worry about it. I was wasn’t expecting you to come in like that. Honestly, I was expecting the door to bounce back and hit you in the face. You opened it very forcefully.” Greer snorted. Waving off all of their worried questions, Greer took their book back. They had a hunch that their roommate wasn’t American. It make sense they wouldn’t know Flint, but if you were American, you had to know Detroit. ”Flint and Detroit are major cities in Michigan. I’m going to assume you’re not American? Just asking because I feel like most people would know Detroit. It’s known as the motor city. Though, I call it the m*rider city, because…well, I think you can understand why.” At the question about the book, Greer smiled. ”Oh, it’s about four girls in civil war era Massachusetts, and basically what they go through in their daily lives.
